The Inn At Lathones  

The outside appearance of the Inn gave no hint of the super modern rooms - particularly the bathrooms - very comforable beds - and a first-class restaurant with friendly service. Our one night stay was much too short. If we ever come back to the St. Andrew's area the Inn at Lathones would be our automatic choice !

Staff were very friendly and accommodating - boyfriend an early riser so they even made him a pot of coffee each morning as a wee extra so I could get a long lie - very much appreciated! The accommodation was small but comfortable and our breakfasts were lovely. Would definitely go back.

Wonderful facilities, terrific staff, reasonable rates, and the gentle sound of sheep and frolicking lambs off the deck attached to our room. That sound trumps Ambien for ensuring a good night's sleep! The restaurant was excellent as well.

I am a foreigner in briten. Staff here is very friendly to all of us. They all do their best to service us. Thx god, can't do better.

Great location and very friendly staff.

Bar menu was actually restaurant type food I.E. small portions, non- traditional versions of traditional bar food. (The chicken caesar salad was very small with only a few salad leaves but also contained a whole poached egg and bacon, neither of which were mentioned on the menu and neither of which the person who ordered it eats!)

Satff were courteous and very accomodating - they provided brekfast early and were always available when required. Food of high standard and accommodation certainly fit for purpose. Ideal location if wanti8ng to visit St Andrews.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was good. Parking was not a problem.

The room facilities were somewhat basic for a 4-star accommodation. The shower did not operate unless a switch in the bedroom was put on, a fact that was not indicated by reception, and the step into the bath was very high - I could cope with it, but I imagine many others would have struggled to get in. There was no 'fridge. The alarm call was 30min late because of a slip-up at reception, though they did apologise subsequently for this.

we were given the 2 day break as a gift, my husband and I were delighted with the inn , the room, the food, and the staff were second to none they were so friendly and helpful. our friends the Goodwin's enjoyed their stay as well. thank you very much. Mrs Christina Johnstone
