For us it`s the scenery. We also like the unlimited use of the pool and steam room. Peace and quiet comes tops also. We have been before a few times before the Hotel changed hands. Now that it`s a Folio Hotel we noticed a reduced choice with the breakfast menu and the price of food and drink has gone up. |

the location was stuning, and the staff very helpful the room was not cleaned to a high standard, the bin was not emptied for 2 days, and in a 4 days stay i would have expeted the bedding to be changed |

The pool and sauna ws lovely. The boilers were bust, therefore the water was cold in our room. Very disappointing as I could not pamper myself in the bath. The mattress was rock hard, I found it very uncomfortable. |

The isles of glencoe hotel was in easy distance from fort william. The price of food and drink and realising the vat was not added on to the actual price. Personally i find that a total con and people could get caught out. The bar was an absolute farce for the size of hotel. |

Staff very polite and helpful despite being run off their feet. Location, views and pool are a big plus. This is one of our favourite hotels and have visited it often, however, on the last few visits we have felt that our room was a little shabby in places and the prices in the restaurant have increased to the extent that we ate elsewhere. |

The pool and sauna were nice, but having an open window into reception is a bit of a weird setup - not quite as relaxing as could be, since we could see people coming in with their luggage and standing there staring at us, waiting to be checked in. The room was nice and spacious and the view was great - for another £15. The location is really the important part. Children in the bar area late at night (10-11), the extra cost to have loch-view rooms, the windows from the pool into reception, the water in the shower area of the pool was freezing cold on the second day and didn't warm up, upon checking out there was only one person. There was a night porter who sold me a drink at the bar as no one else was around, and he was lovely, clearly new and trying his hardest. Some manager woman came along and started shouting at him, making him look bad in front of me and other customer. Seemed a bit unprofessional, regardless of the time of night (maybe 11:00). |

The location is perfect if you intend to tour the west coast Thhe staff conversed about their private arrangement out load and lacked finesse, it seemed the hotel was the staff club |

The food, although it was expensive, was well worth the money. Very nice. The electrical appliances in the room haven't been tested for some time. Ie towel rail/heater was 5 years since last test and the telephone was ten years since last tested. This made me not try any facilities in the hotel and I won't be returning. Also took 2 payments from my account and tried to charge me more than my bill was for. |

The location of the hotel gave a magnificent vista over the loch and surrounding hills. The atmosphere was relaxing. The bathroom could do with an upgrade as it had a mouldy smell about it. |

The locationwas very good with excellent access to Glencoe and the Loch Leven area. The local beer served in the bar was very good. I thought that the food was adequate but very overpriced. The bathroom had nor been properly cleaned and at no stage did anyone enquire as to whether I was enjoying my meal or my stay. |

the staff were very helpful, the room was clean, and the view from the room was fantastic, the meals were good and value for money, especially as we are not large eaters, ant the restruant manager informed us we could have half portions, which was ideal |
