The Isles Of Glencoe Hotel  

The staff were very welcoming and made us feel instantly comfortable upon arrival. The room was comfortable and warm, and we made use of the heated towel rail to dry our clothes after being drenched on a lochside walk. We didn't go to the hotel for the weather, already living in Scotland we know how unpredictable it can be, so we enjoyed the use of the gym, pool and sauna before having our dinner in the hotel restaurant - which was delicious. The loch side views were stunning and the restaurant faced the Isles in the loch. We hope to go back in the future. We enjoyed it so much we stayed an extra night and were given the same excellent rate we had for the first 2 nights. We were also upgraded at the start to a loch side room - bonus!

Have stayed there on a number of ocassions and will do so again as I find it thoroughly enjoyable and relaxing.

It was a great break. the swimming pool and sauna could do with updating. the room amazing stunning views perfect!! food was great, and the reastrant staff/ supervisor amazing lovely people!!

The staff were lovely and the view sensational.

The sauna was not working. The food was ordinary at best. Probably the worst thing was that the rooms are not soundproofed at all and I got no sleep at all because of the sound of people walking on the floor above my bed ... It was very loud. We could also clearly hear conversations from the room next door. Also, the television didn't work at all in our room. Overall, this was a reasonably expensive stay which just was not worth it.

The staff were an asset very friendly helpful and polite. The view across the loch was wonderful the location was very peaceful and quiet. The room was fine . and the breakfast was well cooked and hearty.

Now to the downside of our trip. The bistro menu was ok about average. But the evening meal deal was very limited and very expensive. £18 for 2 course or £22 for 3 course. No main course only . so we never ate at the hotel in the evening. This caused many problems as the only other place to eat within walking distance was in the village. We had to get a taxi to and from nearby venues. There was no availability for take away meals which added to our gastronomical misery.
