Glen Coe is a beautiful location. A bistro in the village does much better food than the hotel. Complete lack of sound proofing from the booming wedding disco just below the family rooms. Completley ruined our children (and hence our) sleep.

Stunning location, good facilities, clean rooms and friendly staff. Decor was rather dated and the food wasn't perfect but that's more than made up for by the surroundings. The hotel is perfectly situated for guests to ignore the few shortcomings, and there are plenty of restaurants within driving distance.

We loved the location, fine scenery and friendliness of the staff. We enjoyed our evening meal and breakfast the next day in the fantastic conservatory overlooking the loch and the surrounding mountains. Room was comfortable, clean and spacious; over all, this hotel is a fantastic springboard to all the delights the Highlands have to offer. Hard to think of anything you could call a fault. Maybe at breakfast, if toast was offered/served along with the tea/coffee, that would alleviate the queue at the buffet counter. Perhaps the cubicals at the pool could be improved to ensure better privacy!

Location and views are great A bit scruffy, needs a bit of tlc, E.G. fix that broken window above reception, it's one of the first things you see as you approach the hotel from the car park.

The hotel stands in spectacular scenery, within easy reach of popular tourist spots, such as Fort William, Ben Nevis, Loch Ness, Oban and Glencoe. The staff at the hotel are very friendly and welcoming. Their local knowledge and helpfulness was invaluable when we had to find alternative means of getting home after being rendered car-less after a (not serious) accident. The dinner menu is small but changes each day and offers a good choice. The area itself offers an excellent choice of different places to eat, including the Loch Leven Seafood Cafe. The hotel also offers a perfectly adequate swimming pool and sauna facility. The room we stayed in was serviced daily and of a good size with a bath and great shower. There was a great view of the Loch and surrounding mountains from the room. Our double bed was two singles made up as a double. This was not too uncomfortable and did not detract from the stay.

The location is 2nd to none. The breakfast was below standard compared with other 3* hotels we have stayed at. Buffet area is cramped. Cooked b/fast can be dry with no beans on offer. Plates were so hot on 1st morning, we had to use napkins to handle them. Cereal plates were not properly cleaned, some had hairs on them. Sauna was not hot enough. Changing area is cramped.

The location. It does not matter which room you are staying in as there is a good view from all of them as far as I am aware. The staff were helpful and friendly. It has gradually deteriorated since I first stayed at the Isles over 16 years ago. I try to stay at least once every second year. The dining room chairs were stained and frayed and the tables were also badly in need of replacement. Some of the cups were stained with tea from previous use. Their was insufficient choice for breakfast. I think the main clientele may be coach groups now, which is fine, but the prices for the other guests is far too expensive for what is on offer.

Beautiful location and friendly relaxed hotel We've been visiting this hotel now for over 10 years and my comments on easy ways to improve would be: - re upholster the dining room chairs - many are badly stained or ripped - provide more detailed information about activities and places of interest. The bike hire centre next to the hotel was closed and it was only that I'd been before that I knew we could hire bikes in the village - this info wasn't available at the hotel - offer some beauty treatments a couple of times a week -offer some sort of crumpets/ pancakes/ with tea/ hot chocolate like hotels od in ski ing resorts for those who've been out all day and are soaking wet/ cold etc

We really like the leisure place as the kids loved it. also would recommend the hotel. really like the breakfast. thanks to the staff. excellent service. We have been to a few family hotels. Did not like the idea of a £1 per towel for swimming or use the ones in room. We used the ones in room. Did not like that. Will remember next time to take our own towels had we known we would have.

We liked the fact that the view from our roomon to Loch Linnhe was uninterrupted. We didn't enjoy our dinner as the asparagus spears Were dry and tasteless and the main course was unimaginative and bland. Not a vegetarian haven, we'de have to say.

A fab location overlooking the loch and mountains. The hotel is dog friendly. They gave us a room with direct access to the outside making it nice and easy to come and go. They even left some dog treats and a special dog blanket for our dog. I would definately recommend this hotel.
