This charming pub and hotel offers a picturesque riverside setting. Situated by the Sowe River, the old mill hotel is a converted watermill whose origins stretch back to the Domesday Book.

Good location, free parking, friendly staff, large room (11),super bathroom with great shower, comfy bed and pillows, leisurely breakfast
Ridiculous coffee machine -a kettle would be so much quicker, massive TV but tiny wardrobe space,no fridge or water in the room
Great rooms and bathrooms. Excellent cocktails with friendly staff
Hairdryer wasn't very powercul although mentioned it to receptionist who said straightaway they'd change it.
Loved the service The breakfast was great My room was fantastic It was so easy to turn the heating on which is rare in hotels! comfy pillows
Wifi connection wasn't that great Service in the cocktail bar at night could have been better...
The decor of the room and hotel & bar throughout was gorgeous! Massive tv with all sky channels & tassimo coffee machine, nice fluffy towels and luxery toiletries. Excellent location with plenty of restaurants and bars around.
We stayed in the superior double so I suppose I expected it to be a bit bigger than in actually was all the same it was still a stunning room! The noise from downstairs is quite loud until around 12.30-1am that was on a Thursday (it did state to expect slight noise on a weekend) I was very dissapointed in the breakfast no hot food awful coffee and warm orange juice. I wouldn't stay there again purely because I didn't think it was worth £125 for the night but it was a nice treat!
The wet room was lovely.
The welcome was very friendly and the decor of the hotel was a the website - very boutique :-)
Very small room, a few meters away from very noisy cocktail bar unfortunately. Im sure not all the rooms were so close but this wasn't mentioned to us.
Amazing wet room. Sky TV
Staff were helpful
Noise and parking
The cocktail bar is unique. Mouth watering selection from all over the world. Puts most cocktail bars in cities to shame.
The rooms were excellent, position fantastic and staff friendly and helpful
The room had character and was decorated well. The venue had character and the gardens was cool. Staff were friendly.
It was noisy and it was difficult to park. No food served in the evening.
Great locationn, nice, stylish room
Was expecting a bit more from breakfast, just cereal and toast basically
Fabulous and Friendly! Great coffee in the room!
Very small car park, but staff still accommodated, by taking keys and moving it as needed!
Lovely room, lovely bathroom, fantastically comfortable bed.
The Tassimo machine. Would rather have had a kettle & tea bags!
Love the room, especially the bath.
Pillows were too hard.
Good position and friendly staff. Very ample breakfast
personal service, staff were exceptionally helpful, the hotel is very charming, beautiful modern bathroom, luxurious linens
First impressions were good, this is a quirky, but extremely well appointed place and the reception was very friendly. My room (3) was amazing - High beamed ceilings, steps up to a funky bathroom, massive TV, very cool decor, good coffee machine and comfy bed. The bar is great, particularly if you like Jazz, swing and cocktails - I wouldn't usually head straight for the nearest cocktail bar, but this really is a bit special, Great staff, great atmosphere, great decor and the largest / best selection of drinks you are ever likely to see. It made for a really good evening. I have stayed in the Holiday inn in Kenilworth a few times and although it is a completely different experience and The Kenilworth wouldn't be for everyone, I will definitely not be going back to the Holiday Inn which is fine but sterile in comparison.
Breakfast was very limited although what was there was good. WiFi wasn't really serviceable for me. Room was over the bar and window is on the front straight on to the road, so may be noisy at the weekend, but was fine when I was there (mid week). No net curtains, so you are either in the dark with the curtains shut or feel like you are a bit on show as it is straight onto the road and not very high. The bathroom has a great bath but only a hand held shower which wouldn't be my preference.
The friendly staff and observing the cocktails been prepared adds to the experience. This is a firm favourite of mine and would recommend an evening, at this stylish and friendly cocktail bar/hotel
It's a shame a beautiful building has such horrible deco while has already dated. The rooms could make it into 50 shades of grey?
Location, great bar,
parking, noise from the bar
Location & general standard of accomodation was excellent. Indeed probable the best value we have experienced on this trip & we have stayed in many many hotels on this 3month trip.
The cocktail bar although being a Novel ideaI I think I would of preferred a more up market regular country style bar. May have been more relaxing. Great job done by owners to present such a welcoming stop.
The staff were so helpful and nice The room was out the back and quiet nice cocktail lounge
The breakfast was fine but would have preferred slightly healthier options
