Score from 436 reviews Very good
On the old main street, near the center of Kenilworth, Milsoms Hotel has boutique-style rooms with private bathrooms and a superb Loch Fyne seafood restaurant.
Score from 280 reviews Very good
This charming pub and hotel offers a picturesque riverside setting. Situated by the Sowe River, the old mill hotel is a converted watermill whose origins stretch back to the Domesday Book.
Score from 614 reviews Excellent
In the Warwickshire countryside, close to historic and beautiful Warwick, Royal Leamington Spa, Kenilworth and Stratford upon Avon, the Ramada Warwick is on pretty grounds overlooking the Avon River.
Score from 431 reviews Good
Everything, A detached house, separate to the pub on a housing estate, not adequately sound proofed, we have stayed many hotels in the world, but this was the worst.
I saw Balvenie Port Wood edition on the menu that I have been wanting to try for ages and they'd run out. Gutted! I can forgive due to the awesomeness of the Smoky Old B*stard cocktails though...
Tastefully themed room with really nice bathroom. Staff really well turned out and very helpful. Thoroughly enjoyed a few of the cocktails before going to the Cross for dinner.
The bed was slightly too soft but that's just personal preference
The hotel is lovely, the staff really look after you and can't do enough to make your stay the best. The cocktails are amazing!
COFFEE MACHINE WOULD NOT WORK
The only thing I would say is the parking isn't great, although there are enough spaces we did get blocked in.
Hotel was beautiful, really clean and beautiful decor throughout. The bathroom was amazing, spent most of our time in there! The staff were so helpful, very attentive. The cocktail bar was beautiful, pages and pages of different drinks to try, quite expensive but that's to be expected. Management were also really nice, they had a beautiful staffy that I had a cuddle from at breakfast. Would definitely stay here again but in a different room as they are all different.
Room was excellent. Quaint with high standard
The bath was amazing and the tassimo was a nice touch.
The rooms 1, 2 & 3 are located above the bar. Only quiet after midnight... Ask for a room in the back for a quiet room. Breakfast is only continental, no hot items.
Very nicely designed and decorated rooms. Super friendly staff. The wine list and cocktail menu are awesome. Try their boards along and you won't miss supper
Good location Very stylish and comfortable room Nice breakfast
Staff were fantastic, helpful, friendly and very accommodating! Lovely styled room and very comfy bed!
Great room, great cocktail lounge, I could practically live there!
Getting into the parking and then finding reception was a feat in itself. Check-in was in the middle of a busy cocktail bar with staff who weren't particularly aware of what to do with us - we felt rather awkward dragging suitcases through drunk party-goers! Shower was gorgeous BUT only overhead and no bath so I wasn't able to get a shower as I didn't want to wash my long hair. I don't think this is really acceptable.
Room very contemporary, breakfast much better than expected for a continental served in a (closed) cocktail bar! Location good for going out and the bar was great on Friday night.
Room was noisy while cocktail bar was still open, and rooms in web look much nicer than room actually was, I wasn't given a choice of different rooms when booking.
Location was brilliant, cocktails lovly and friendly staff.
basic stuff; the room had no kettle for simply boiling water ??. The constant questioning of staff of "have you booked a table " to have a beer in the bar ?? we were paying guests !!!!! no "was everything ok ?" after handing £300 over for two night stay??
TV not working and sunken bath, no space for a free-standing shower, attic bathroom meant headroom pinched on both sides
Very boutique environment, handy location, cleanliness of room and comfort first rate, wifi good, staff ultra-helpful and polite
As the Kennilworth is a cocktail bar the drinks are great but the noise from launching bottles into the bottle bank until 2am meant a poor nights sleep. Also the staff didn't keep their voices down and were shouting out to each other just outside our bedroom door.
Could hear people in other rooms luckily they weren't too noisy, shower was only luke warm in the morning and bed was squeaky
Loved the look of the room and bathroom, great that there was an iron & ironing board, information about the hotel was nice too, great staff and relaxed atmosphere. Decor around all areas was excellent.
I feel the room may be too hot in summer. It was below freezing outside, but we had to turn the radiator right off, and the duvet was very warm! Better than being cold, but, as I say, in summer it may be uncomfortable. I couldn't adjust the shower temperature, despite twiddling both knobs assiduously. Why do hotels never put the socket for the hairdyer anywhere near the mirror? The coffee maker was very complicated - I only wanted some hot water to make a Lemsip - but this did not seem to be an option! My husband didn't like the breakfast. I only ever have coffee, toast, and fruit for breakfast, so it was fine for me, although there were no fruit knives for the kiwi fruits. My husband chose some smoked cheese, but really couldn't open the packet - he tried for 5 minutes but there were no sharp knives! ( There is cereal too, if you like. )
The hotel was in a good location ( once we had found the parking!). The staff were very good. I'm sure the cocktail bar is fun in summer when one could sit in the garden, but for us it was too noisy and busy on a Saturday night. ( We'd been to a wedding) The room was comfortable and the toiletries were nice. I especially liked the fluffy towels. I was surprised that the room was so modern, given the old exterior of the hotel. If I had really wanted to stay in an old hotel room, (if I were an American perhaps) I may have been disappointed, but I have to say that the bed was very comfortable, and the bathroom was lovely( except the shower temperature issue)
Ridiculous coffee machine -a kettle would be so much quicker, massive TV but tiny wardrobe space,no fridge or water in the room
Good location, free parking, friendly staff, large room (11),super bathroom with great shower, comfy bed and pillows, leisurely breakfast
Hairdryer wasn't very powercul although mentioned it to receptionist who said straightaway they'd change it.
Great rooms and bathrooms. Excellent cocktails with friendly staff
Wifi connection wasn't that great Service in the cocktail bar at night could have been better...
Loved the service The breakfast was great My room was fantastic It was so easy to turn the heating on which is rare in hotels! comfy pillows
We stayed in the superior double so I suppose I expected it to be a bit bigger than in actually was all the same it was still a stunning room! The noise from downstairs is quite loud until around 12.30-1am that was on a Thursday (it did state to expect slight noise on a weekend) I was very dissapointed in the breakfast no hot food awful coffee and warm orange juice. I wouldn't stay there again purely because I didn't think it was worth £125 for the night but it was a nice treat!
The decor of the room and hotel & bar throughout was gorgeous! Massive tv with all sky channels & tassimo coffee machine, nice fluffy towels and luxery toiletries. Excellent location with plenty of restaurants and bars around.
The wet room was lovely.
The welcome was very friendly and the decor of the hotel was a the website - very boutique :-)
