The Restaurant experience was exemplary. The food was varied and of the highest quality and the service was attentive without being over-powering. Not particularly expensive either! Toilet seat was cracked and had been for some time it seemed. |

When I checked out early, because my son was taken into hospital. I asked if they could waive that nights stay. They said the cleaners had gone home and wouldn't be able to let the room. Even though they were full. 1 receptionist took a telephone call and said they had 1 single room left??????????? Another receptionist commented as I walke away. "The last one's budgie died!" Obviously I will not stay there again. |

Within walking distance of town center. Car parking was dreadful and lighting in the bedrooms was very poor. |

We enjoyed our weekend. The breakfast was very good. The staff very friendly. Location was good. We had a room at the front which was fine but the room was not as nice as the one shown on website. And a fan or something was running all night but stopped about 8.30 in the morning which was quite annoying. We would return but get a different room.Parking needs sorting we had to park quite away from hotel. |

I enjoyed the availability of the staff and the room. The closeness to the International Conference Centre was also an issue. |

Staff were very helpful, nothing too much trouble. On arrival we told reception the toilet seat in our room was broken. We were upgraded to an executive room which was lovely and made our stay even better. |

I liked the old world design of the hotel which I thought fitted very well with its surroundings. The rooms were surprisingly modern compared to the old world style of the hotel which was super. In the hotel information in the room there was a reference made to a 'teddy' being left in the room - this wasn't the case - maybe it's only in executive rooms? Maybe the hotel info should be clearer about this? |

The hotel had everything we required for our stay in Harrogate. Had free parking and was close enough to walk into Harrogate. Hotel looked recently decorated and was very inviting. Homemade biscuits and little chocolates on the pillows were nice touches. The restaurant for breakfast was on the small side. We were lucky and only had to wait 5-10 mins but heard that others had to wait 30 mins. Apparently, they are opening an extension to the dining room next weekend which should solve that problem. |

good central location and friendly and helpful staff my wife was not happy with the bed sheet protector which made her night uncomfortable due to to the heat it makes the bed - our electronic door lock malfunctioned and could not be locked but the staff handled it to our satisfaction |

Terrific location for conference centre. Comfortable beds, huge room, reasonably priced. Good breakfast, friendly staff. Extremely minor point: hotel toiletries smell a bit like Opal Fruits, so next time I'd take my own shampoo etc. |

at first was offered Character room which I had booked, on viewing room found it to be in v poor condition, broken fittings/furniture, old fuzzy tv etc, after complaining was provided with executive room which was superb. don`t know why they keep the character room they are supposed to be same standard as exec rooms with an extra twist, ie French .Thai etc.But do not compare. |
