Excellent welcome from the young man on reception when we arrived, better room than we expected to get, very good breakfasts and food in bistro excellent. We have visited this hotel several times and have been pleased with it on every occasion, and will return when we next visit Harrogate. There is nothing about this hotel that we dislike.

Despite booking a budget room facilities were excellent. Furnishings were slightly old fashioned but room was large and spotlessly clean. Great location and value for money. We were lucky enough to find a parking space at the hotel, but parking is very limited. Other reviews have complained about the parking charge (£6 per night), but as the room was such good value didn't feel this was an issue.

The room was gorgeous. Parking was not clearly outlined in the booking, had to drive around for 30 minutes looking for the car park. Parked on a public car park 5 minutes walk away, only to find when we arrived at the hotel that there was a notice inside outlining a closer and cheaper car park.

Reception was exceptionally attentive Breakfast service was a triumph for mediocrity with rudeness thrown in. The parking was a rip off because if you could get parked you were then blocked in and had to spend ages getting other cars moved.

Spacious modern room, cleaned to a very high standard on a daily basis. Excellent location walking distance to the city centre. Charged £6 per day to use the car park and there wasn't any free spaces everyday of my stay, I had to park on the side of the road, the car park is far too small for the size of the hotel and to be charged for a service that was not provided I think is unacceptable.

Size of room- Executive rooms large and bathroom spacious. New and modern rooms. Car Park- limited spaces, however we managed to park on the street for free so cant complain. Breakfast expensive as not included in the rate although plenty of other options in town centre.
