We arrived too early for check in but the Receptionists took our bags so we could go straight out. The location is brilliant - just a ten minute walk back into Harrogate. The room was huge and very welcoming. We had dinner there too and it was amazing quality and very good value - We would definately stay again!

Situated close to town centre - executive room was clean & comfortable breakfast was good standard Website stated that Sky Sports was available however this was not the case - Sky had been cancelled at the begiinning of the month but the website had not been updated. There was a problem with the shower on several occasions I had to contact the reception to advise that there was no hot water - they advised that boiler needed resetting! In view of the above the duty manager agreed to reduce the charges for our stay and advised that the general manager would contact us, to date this has not happened

We booked the budget triple room which was perfectly adequate for a one night stay albeit a bit of squeeze round the bed.. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. The on suite was getting a bit tired but it was fine for the price.

The Hotel lived up to our expectations and provided a comfortable base for our New year break We sampled the food on our first evening and dined there every evening of our four night stay and found it to be most satisfactory. Our party consisted of 4 adults and one child aged 7 who found the children s menu to her liking and the staff help full. Our accommodation was in the New section of the original building on the 3rd floor was spacious by modern standards and comfortable with a range of beverages and mineral water provided. We left the Kimberly after 5 days well satisfied and with little complaint and will no doubt return I found the car parking arrangement some what irritating as you cannot pre book and take your chance if you leave. The standing charge of £6 per day seems to rub salt in the wound if you return to difficulties. I would add that it occurred only once on New years eve when the hotel was busy

From the moment we walked in the door to the minute we left the staff were friendly and courteous and could not do enough to help. The hotel itself is pleasant, whilst not a luxury establishment, it is clean, tioday and has touches that make up for the basic facilities (no pool/spa etc). We stayed on New Years Eve and 1st January as a last minute getaway and to be honest was a little skeptical as we pulled up but on enetering and going down for the gala dinner any fears were allayed; the food was fantastic and plentiful, the service impaccable and the atmosphere was relaxed and fun. I will definately return and have already spoken with friends about NYE next year. The only issue is limited parking on site; it is £6 per night but on our first night the car park was full; there is however free on street parking just round the corner.

The location was very good; only a short walk from the centre of Harrogate. The rooms were spacious and well appointed with high quality fittings. Breakfast was well presented and substantial and the overall package was very good value for money.

It is a nice hotel and the staff are usually friendly and helpful. This particular room had a very loud noise that kept me awake for most of the night. The shower stall had black mold in it and the shower head was covered in black mold. Black mold can make some people very sick. I had never had this room before and the next time that I stay I will ask not to be put back in this room. The breakfast that I had ordered did not come with any salt and pepper; I ordered orange juice and got grapefruit (I cannot drink grapefruit juice), there was not enough butter for the toast.

Bedrooms really lovely and the food was excellent and we were close to the centre of the town. Very poor parking at the hotel which was also charged for! The carpark was full when we arrived so we had to park somewhere else and return to the car by 9 am following morning to ensure we were not charged/fined. The car parking would I am afraid put us off coming again as it was a cause for concern and inconvenience.

The Hotel itself was nice and the staff were very friendly and helpful. However, we stayed in a budget room. The room was very dark as there was no main light in the room, just two lamps with dull energy saving bulbs. There were two lights above the mirror in the bathroom but one had no bulb in and the other was hanging off the wall and didn't work. I was going to a work's ball and found doing my make-up a real struggle. The shower door was quite loose and when you turn the shower on the water sprays across the whole bathroom. I'm sure the more expensive rooms are fine but I will be avoiding the budget rooms in future.

Newly refurbished, clean and modern looking The only thing that was negative was there was no tv service - so no news, no music and we were only in there one night to get ready for a party (in silence) - apparantly the satalite had fallen off the roof and every room was the same. Its okay advertising 43" led tvs as a bonus for the room.............. But if they are not in service..................??
