The breakfast was good as it was included in the costs. The outside garden was no smoking. The hotel lacked atmosphere. It looked terrible from the ourside. The room was small. |

Good location to explore this area of Kent and near enough to London and shopping centres. Near to public transport both buses and trains.Excellent on site car parking. Breakfast times - 9.30a.m. too early to finish serving breakfast, as we had been to a concert in London and did not get back to hotel till past midnight. |

The restaurant was very nicely designed and decorated and the food was very tasty. The view of the garden courtyard is lovely. We also liked the quietness of our room which was 808 and near the back and away from traffic. The bathroom needs to be updated. It would be better if the tub was at ground level because my wife bruised her leg in getting out of the tub. Also the flat panel television was a bit small for the size of the room. |

The energetic staff at breakfast time and the good service despite a large guest intake The hotel really requires an upgrade in relation to decor but it was comfortable and clean |

The room was an adequate it has a lovely big car park The hotel is basically a slum with a bit of tinsel to make it look smart. The hotel is in a dilapidated condition and there is damp everywhere, whatever you do keep the windows open and don't leave any clothes on the floor they will smell when you put them on. There was a big hole between the bath and the shower, you could not prevent water flowing down when having a shower..... |

We attended a wedding reception which was delightful and well catered for The room we stayed in smelt really badly of drains and damp.We did ask to change room but told nothing available. I reported the room in the morning to reception when we checked out, to prevent anyone else having to put up with the awful smell. |

Poor internet connection at hotel, essential for flight confirmation. Smokers outside bedroom window. Commotion late at night in corridors, party people not being considerate. Don't show picture of four poster bed, show ordinary room. |

I often stay in Medway for work and have now tried 5 hotels. I always return to the KC as it cannot be beaten on comfort or hospitality. You will read some reviewers' responses to the decor but if we do not support these locally-owned hotels how do we expect them to afford modernisation? |

Very friendly staff, room was lovely, we had adjoining rooms for our children which was a fab as there was a TV in each room so no arguing over what to watch! We ordered room service which was very good value for money and meant we have the ordeal of sitting little ones down at dinner. When we drove up to the hotel the outside looked very run down and dilapidated to the point where we nearly turned around but once inside we were very pleased. I was disappointed the dinner service didn't start until 7pm. A bit late when you have two under 3 years hence we had room service later. |

Very good value for money, friendly staff, good dinner and breakfast. Free parking, so ideal for a stop and have a look around (Leed's castle, Canterbury, Rochester...). |
