A very comfortable room which had obviosly recently been refurbished. It was a bit noisy at night but that was down to the fact that Keswick is a very lively town. It didn't really detract from our stay

Very relaxed and easy going. In a good location for shops.pubs and restaurants.set in the town center. Derwent water is a five minute walk with boat trips leaving every half hour. Well worth a stay at the kings arms I will be staying again.

The location was fine, lots of lovely shops and eating places within walking distance. The brekfast was first class and so was the cleanliness of the rooms. The bed was very comfortable. I didn't like the decor of the room it was so dated and the bathroom needed a complete new everything.

we stayed here for one night for our silver wedding anniversary, the superior room which we booked was excellant with all the comforts we needed. My husband had ordered flowers and wine for a suprise for me which the staff had arranged and were lovely. We enjoyed our stay and wish we could have stayed longer. Would not hesitate to stay here again.

I liked the olde world design and cosy comfort of the hotel, and the easy access to the pedestrian street from the hotel door gave a feeling of being in the hub of the pubs, shopping and activity of the town. The only major disappointment was the quality of the food in the hotel. The dishes served were not always what was described on the menu (items missing) and eggs and meat dry and overcooked.

Location, right on main marketplace. Friendly staff from check in to check out. Room, comfortable & adequate for short stay. There is some noise from nightclub/ smokers outside but to be fair this is mentioned before booking, also, wearplugs are provided in bathroom. This is our second stay this year, so that tells you the hotel are doing things right.

Bar, room, drinks all were fine a) Very noisy, our room was above a nightclub linked to the hotel woken up at 1,30am for 2 hours we should have been told about this reception & management not interested in our problem b) breakfast staff more interested in clearing up than serving us and we were not late

The hotel rooms are very clean and well equiped however the sky tv is on the normal 5 channels which is slightly misleading, the internet only works when you are next to the reception and not in all public areas as stated, these are only minor things but when on business they matter.. All in all I would not hesitate to stay at thia hotel again No complaints at all, very clean good breakfast polite staff...

Was upgraded to a Superior double on arival which was newly refurbished and very comfortable. Free parking also at the car park behind the hotel which was unexpected. Overall a very comfortable stay could have been improved if there had been wi-fi access in the hotel.

Room 6 very small and above kitchen extractor fan so noisey. We knew about the night club, but were surprised how busy it was in late September mid week. Very friendly staff.

The location of the hotel being in the middle of Keswick was good for visiting local attractions. The food in the hotel was good and the staff very polite and helpful. The only draw back to staying at the hotel was the noise which came from the night club which was directly behind the hotel. The noise became very loud when it was closing time, and not having double glazing on the windows did not help.
