Good location, nice setting and friendly staff It was too noisy I am afraid. The market store started setting up at 5.00am Saturday morning and the Taxis did not stop picking up until early hours the following morning and both were under our window! not much that can be done about that I suppose

Really comforting staff who made me feel at home from checking in. Great night club nearby that is most likely loud on nights due to ear plugs provided. But after visiting the club and having a few drinks, it was great. Alot better than what i was expecting. Unfortunately i cannot comment on the breakfast as we did not wake up in time. Bad heads all around after the previous night.

we stayed here for one night for our silver wedding anniversary, the superior room which we booked was excellant with all the comforts we needed. My husband had ordered flowers and wine for a suprise for me which the staff had arranged and were lovely. We enjoyed our stay and wish we could have stayed longer. Would not hesitate to stay here again.

I liked the olde world design and cosy comfort of the hotel, and the easy access to the pedestrian street from the hotel door gave a feeling of being in the hub of the pubs, shopping and activity of the town. The only major disappointment was the quality of the food in the hotel. The dishes served were not always what was described on the menu (items missing) and eggs and meat dry and overcooked.

Location, right on main marketplace. Friendly staff from check in to check out. Room, comfortable & adequate for short stay. There is some noise from nightclub/ smokers outside but to be fair this is mentioned before booking, also, wearplugs are provided in bathroom. This is our second stay this year, so that tells you the hotel are doing things right.

Bar, room, drinks all were fine a) Very noisy, our room was above a nightclub linked to the hotel woken up at 1,30am for 2 hours we should have been told about this reception & management not interested in our problem b) breakfast staff more interested in clearing up than serving us and we were not late

The hotel rooms are very clean and well equiped however the sky tv is on the normal 5 channels which is slightly misleading, the internet only works when you are next to the reception and not in all public areas as stated, these are only minor things but when on business they matter.. All in all I would not hesitate to stay at thia hotel again No complaints at all, very clean good breakfast polite staff...

Was upgraded to a Superior double on arival which was newly refurbished and very comfortable. Free parking also at the car park behind the hotel which was unexpected. Overall a very comfortable stay could have been improved if there had been wi-fi access in the hotel.

Everything about the hotel was good. The staff very polite, friendly and helpfull. We tried to book for another break at the beginning of November but unfortunately all rooms were booked. The only downside was the noise from the nightclub but it didnt spoil our weekend.

The location of the hotel being in the middle of Keswick was good for visiting local attractions. The food in the hotel was good and the staff very polite and helpful. The only draw back to staying at the hotel was the noise which came from the night club which was directly behind the hotel. The noise became very loud when it was closing time, and not having double glazing on the windows did not help.

Old but full of character. Clean with a very friendly and competent staff. The bedroom was newly refurbished . Very smart with an excellent en-suite. Its position is very central in the town. The weekend revellers were rather noisy however the hotel supplied earplugs, most useful for those of us who are not midnight revellers. Breakfast was substantial with a good choice. We enjoyed our stay. Thank you.
