The efficiency and friendliness of the staff we came in contact with The room we were first offered. For guests staying for a fortnight period, offering one of the economy class room was not appreciated |

Extremely friendly & helpful staff. Lovely big room with very modern bathroom. Lovely dining room with excellent food reasonably priced. The outside appearance looked in need of a make-over but inside was lovely, |

helpful and friendly staff, comfortable room with good facilities, central to our needs. First impressions of the hotel were not good needs renovation. When we booked we were concerned about parking as the town is very busy, and we were told that there was no carparking facilities at the hotel . however we were given a voucher, but were told that these were on first come first served basis |

Comfortable accommodation (big room, good bed), excellent food, helpful staff, central location. Rather noisy pub next door (a Friday night), but fine by 1.00am. |

The food was good and the staff were helpful I did not like the room we were given, it was very old, the beds were uncomfortable and the bathroom floor left a lot to be desired!. We left after one night as the weather was very bad. |

staff were very caring despite the filthy rooms, and noise factors needs basic cleaning, and the removal of a burger van all night outside the hotel bedrooms |

The location and staff The hotel was very overpriced, I stayed in a 'superior room' £89 per night and the TV had only 4 channels, the decor is very jaded and is in need of refurbishment |

This charming, traditional family-run hotel is situated in one of the most picturesque parts of Northumberland, in the small town of Wooler, known as the Gateway to the Cheviot Hills. |
A wonderful mansion in 15 acres of parkland with four-poster rooms, award-winning cuisine, fine wines and an elegant decor. |
