The Knight Residence  

After over a week of staying in just one room it was wonderful to have an apartment with 3 rooms! We were extremely impressed by the well equiped kitchen and the starter pack - that sustained us for the whole stay. We also appreciated the small but very welcome living room and the second TV in the bedroom. The washing machine and dryer were also a welcome bonus. The staff took the time to show us the various machines in the unit and how to use them. That was very helpful. The location was excellent - within walking distance to the castle and the restaurant/ pub are of Grass Market. The lift from the car park was great as was the access to the video library. I would thorougly recommend a stay at the Knights Residence - Thank you

Nil - it was all fantastic

Excellent accommodation only short walk to the Royal Mile and other attractions. Our apartment was clean, bright and modern. Good facilities within the apartment which enabled us to feel at home. The concierge was very friendly and knowledgeable about the area and made us most welcome. The welcome pack was full of goodies and a good range of toiletries were available in the bathroom. Would definitely visit again, hopefully soon!

Large living space, kitchen very useful. Quiet location

These apartments very close too old town of edinburg. Very comfortable ideal for families. The staff were very helpfull and friendly.

The apartment was very spacious, quiet and comfortable. The reception was very friendly and efficient - it is extremely welcoming to hear "Welcome back, Mr H". I thoroughly recommend this hotel.

Being a 'home from home'

Location close to strip bars and lapdancing club

It was great to have the kitchen and living room. We had plenty of space. The kitchen came stocked with some things (cereal, cookies, milk) so we could have breakfast the first day without running to the store. The DVD/video collection was also very good - nice for the kids to watch a movie before bed.

The faucets - even though it was a single faucet you could feel the difference between the hot and cold water. Also, at the end of the block are some "gentlemen's clubs." We walked quickly past them but our 9-year old now knows what a strip bar is. No one ever bothered us though.

Great location and the best hotel staff of anywhere I've stayed! The apartment was very comfortable with a modern and well stocked kitchen. We were contacted via email a week before our arrival and asked if we had any special needs or requests. Our only request was for an early check-in which they were able to do. A small welcome pack (including milk, orange juice, cereal, and bread) was in the kitchen for us. There is wireless internet but it is slow. However, each floor has a wired computer that is free to use and will also print if needed.

The only semi-negative thing I can say about The Knight Residence is that it is located between a strip club and a church.

The staff were amazing and the room was firts class..would definately consider staying again..thanks so much for the amazing service.
