The Knight Residence  

After over a week of staying in just one room it was wonderful to have an apartment with 3 rooms! We were extremely impressed by the well equiped kitchen and the starter pack - that sustained us for the whole stay. We also appreciated the small but very welcome living room and the second TV in the bedroom. The washing machine and dryer were also a welcome bonus. The staff took the time to show us the various machines in the unit and how to use them. That was very helpful. The location was excellent - within walking distance to the castle and the restaurant/ pub are of Grass Market. The lift from the car park was great as was the access to the video library. I would thorougly recommend a stay at the Knights Residence - Thank you

Such a great place. The area it is in (Grassmarket) was affected by the Edinburgh street closures because of the tram project that has stalled. However this did not detract from the comfortable apartment.

Very welcoming staff with greatest hospitality I ever met in a hotel. They gave us a flat while we paid for a studio & I just felt relaxed as if I am at my own home with their clever attention to every detail We may need. Every thing was amazingly available available from the juice, toast and milk to the DVD's & video cassetts.

Centrally located within easy walking distance of city centre. Pleasant attentive and knowledgeable staff. Superior relaxing and quiet accommodation, close to services and range of excellent restaurants.

The Knight Residence in Edinburgh was centrally located. Very near Edinburgh Castle, The Royal Mile & the shopping area. We loved the fact that it was self-contained and we had the space to relax & unwind, unlike in a hotel room. We had a 2 bedroom apartment with a lounge, kitchen & bathroom. The welcome pack of cereal, milk, bread, juice, tea & coffee was excellant. My only criticism would be that perhaps that bathroom needs updating. The staff at the Knight Residence were very helpful and friendly.

1-Water shower is not hot enough. 2-I recommend to have 2 bathroom in 2bedroom apartment instead of one.

The staff were amazing and the room was firts class..would definately consider staying again..thanks so much for the amazing service.

The location was good and the customer service was exceptional

It states on the website that it is a 5 star residence, at the most it is 3 star as the bathroom tiles need fixing and the mould needs to be removed from the taps. The rest of the place is a little dated but generally clran and tidy.

We always feels welcome at the Knight Residence- it's almost like coming home! This was our second stay and would be our preferred venue in Edinburgh. The staff are friendly and professional and the quality of the apartments is excellent. We are only disappointed we couldn't stay there for our return trip to Edinburgh for Hogmanay.

Very spacious apartment, well appointed, including a basket of food and drink. The concierge was incredibly friendly and helpful, and the location was perfect for exploring the town.

The staffs were excellent and helpful. Some foods like cereals and juice were provided for free upon arrival in the apartment.

No negative comment.

During our stay at The Knight Residence we enjoyed clean and comfortable surroundings. Nights were quiet and the staff were helpful. We had the freedom and privacy that comes with self catering accommodation and the convenience of the town centre and attractions close by.

There were a few minor maintenance/cleaning issues with our apartment but nothing that took away from our enjoyment of our stay.
