View from room was wonderful!!! Asked for more tea at breakfast but waiter seemed to serve everyone else first and had run out before getting around to us - hence waited further ten minutes before received the tea, by which time we had finished breakfast!!

Location was excellent for the weekend we enjoyed. Breakfast was very good with wide range of choice and attentative staff. Very busy with two weddings on the Saturday which ment the staff were run off their feet and left little time for guest needs. Tables in bar/lounge were littered with bottles and glasses for long periods.

Comfortable room, easy free parking and easy to find location Safe in room not working, reported but no one fixed as only needed a battery. Only one bath towel for two people? When it rained the gutters leaked above our room and water falling on plastic beneath woke me in the early hours.

The swimming pool looked lovely, but you did not have any trunks to sell & I had forgotten to bring my own. Free Independant Paper. The tv did not have Sky Sports working, and did not have a bbc3, or itv2 channel. This was very poor. The main problem was that I could not get the internet to work. Even with the dongle that you lent me, the connection wass too weak to use. Breakfast was ok, but there was no menu to choose haddock or kippers from - which is what I expect in a 4 star hotel.

Was happy with everything except the breakfast on the Sunday morning 18th December. The food served was good but at best warm only. Even the plates were cold. We were looking forward to the breakfast which was a disappointment. I don't think it is correct to cook and store warm only food. This was raised to reception when we booked out. Please inform me how to claim the cost back for the Breakfast. The sse Xmas function we attended was good overall, but we were again surprised that our group pre orders had been lost and how cold and draughty it was in the function room. The food and service was very good though.

The view over the water from our room was lovely. The gym is well equipped, although could do with some music being played. The pool and spa facilities are also very good. The food was lovely.

In the hotel the staff were friendly and the main facilities were good. Bed was comfortable and the shower was good! Unable to book massage for my wife as spa was block booked for the day. Room looked a little dated and in need of a lick of paint.

Rooms were large and beds were very comfortable. Good value for money. I was part of a christmas party which took place at the function room. Function room was perfect size. Noise did not travel up to the rooms which was very good. Lighting in the main room was poor. Had to use the bathroom mirror to get ready.

It was a surprise for my partner as it was our 5th anniversary and as a frequent visitor and boat owner on the island, had always wanted to stay at the Langstone. I had booked an executive room which was huge and immaculate. Food was amazing and leisure facilities excellent. Would definitely recommend you. I had specifically requested a good view of the harbour when I booked back in August, but it was a bit of an effort to see it. Only one chair in the room to sit and relax in when two people staying. Special shower was not that special and could do with being lime-scaled on a regular basis to work more efficiently.

The hotel is situated in a pleasant place and easy to find. The design/decor of the hotel is pleasing and staff very friendly although the reception staff didn' t know if the brasserie menu was on the room tv not. A light in the bedroom did not work. tap dripped constantly.

The Staff was very helpful and friendly. Check in and check out was very easy and quick. Room was very comfortable and clean I have stayed at this hotel on several occastions for work and each time I was unable to get connected to the internet to be able to work in the evenings - I would very strongly hesitate to stay at this facility again in the future due to the internet issues. The food choices in the restaurant were limited

We have been their before and it is a great place for a weekend break. The breakfast was excellent but there was only scrambled eggs and we would have liked fried eggs. Every thing else was great.
