The room was a nice size
We were disappointed with the Restaurant, firstly being told that they didn't have any Potatoes other than chips and the steak was off the menu. After enquiring about the size of main meal and being told it came with a large side salad was disappointed with the 5 or 6 baby leaf salad, the meal it self was served in a bowl over filled with a watery sauce. Wont be dining there again
A great venue. Super experience. Fab food. Excellent nights sleep.
Nothing!! Everything was fabulous.
Lovely large family friendly room with great view. Had a luxury feel to the whole hotel. Swimming pool and spa a great added extra. Great staff.
Awful Internet not the super fast one that is advertised ! Long wait for breakfast due to 2 weddings the night before.
The stay at the Langstone was great and we really enjoyed it. But I did think that there was more staff needed in the bar especially as there were weddings going on. Most of the evening the tables were covered in empty glasses. It would have been better if someone was able to clean them up. There was also no lime available at the bar for drinks. Other than that staff were very friendly and the stay was enjoyable.
the location comfortable room nice staff
no entertainment eve
Staff were friendly and helpful, although the bar staff could not distinguish between Bacardi and Vodka! Location is good for visiting Chichester, Portsmouth and Arundel.
The Luxury Executive room was definitely not luxurious and we were very disappointed with the wet room/walk-in shower - the shower head was not practical if you didn't want to get your hair wet (there were no shower caps in the room) and the whole of the bathroom, not just the walk-in shower area got virtually flooded - the extractor was not working either. Also the room overlooked the small car park by the pool and there was continuous noise from residents and visitors. There was also no lighting at all at one point to the staircase down to the ground floor, which meant you had to be tentative in your steps. Finally, the fillet steak that my wife ordered was very poor quality and was returned to the kitchen, the cost of which was refunded. We have stayed at the hotel on two previous occasions and enjoyed our stay, but on this occasion we were definitely disappointed.
Too hot in the room
To far to walk to your room. No proper lift. Beds to soft for my back
Lighting inside wardrobe did not work. Air-con. Fan did not work. Complicated menu to reach television channels. Felt very pressurized at breakfast to hurry up because of the long queue waiting to ne seated.
the staff were delightfull
the room at £159 was below standard of average travel lodge....shabby terrace area.
Location and accomodation
The staff were pleasant and the executive room was very luxurious. The bed comfortable and the facilities in the room were good.
staff were friendly Starter - goat cheese and beetroot Both my colleagues enjoyed starters, we all really liked the warm breads and mustard butter Get better olives though!
main course was shocking, supposed chilli con carne was beef with plum tomato's with no flavour no love❗ No air conditioning, room was so hot I could not sleep, felt knackered all day at meeting! £119 for a bed in a room that was boiling, paid for dinner separately so not VFM in my opinion. Water leaked all over the floor from behind the taps, even on lower pressure, did everything to try and stop it, when I felt underneath the edge of the bath next to the taps, a large smudge of gunk from other people appeared on my hand, disgusting. If I found that there so easily then what are the cleaners doing? A shame, lack of quality checks. Location is not everything! My colleagues shared my views with the rooms temperature, one of my colleagues also had a poor main course, she did not eat hers either.
- free use of facilities included with stay - friendly helpful members of staff
- bedding was worn and torn in places
Breakfast was great
Bath to narrow, which means that the shower curtain STICKS to you when you try to have a shower. No room to move. A PROBLEM YOU WILL NOT BE FIXING !!!
Convenience to the wedding we were attending
Too much noise from the weddings that were going on in the hotel
I cannot find a fault with this hotel, the staff were friendly, the atmosphere relaxed, everywhere was well maintained and clean. There was a wedding party in the hotel with a disco, we were allocated a room in a quiet part of the hotel and couldn't hear any music. We didn't eat at the hotel simply because we were busy visiting friends, but I am sure there would not have been a problem considering how well the hotel is managed. Lovely views, in a very accessible location.
The room was lovely and clean and quiet. Food in the restaurant and wine list was great.
Location good staff very nice & bed very comfy
room not as nice as we expected .. Was not a multi jet shower as described the slippers were missing and complimentary mineral water & chocs were 1 plastic bottle of room temp water & 1 choc orange bar for 3 people? The fridge door was broken & held together with a screw
The view from the tables outside. Can't comment on the food as we didn't have any in the hotel nor did we use the leisure facilities
Average room despite allegedly upgraded status. Had to ask for a map at Reception - not automatically provided. No air con and room very hot. Fridge not terribly effective. had to ask for another set of towels and for milk and toilet roll to be replenished. Shower not very clean and not a cubicle therefore the bathroom flooded every time. Mirrors on wardrobe had hand prints as did the windows - dressing table felt sticky
Good location. Well sign posted. Clean, large rooms. Comfortable bed. Fair priced room and food.
Room was a very long way from reception. Bedroom was unbelievably hot even with in room air conditioning.
The bed was very comfortable to sleep in & the room was very clean...not bad at all....
The shower & bath waste, there seem to be a blockage in the bath & shower waste system...not very comforting when showering up! & there's no direct foot path from the main road to the hotel.
Location/ layout/ view Swimming pool/ spa Price And front office staff/ restaurant supervisor
Disabled bathroom No bathtub Washing basin not draining properly, 1/2 hour waiting for breakfast, not enough food and poor quality, no boiled eggs, coffee was horrible Kitchen need improvement In terms of quality and capability..
Swimming pool Breakfast large room and bed
Difficult to navigate through TV - couldn't just turn on tv. No tea or coffee making facilities in the room.
So friendly and welcoming with extra time given to my 4 year old grandson and 85 year old partially sited mother. Cannot fault the staff except at breakfast, they were a bit disorganised.
Being seated under the tv screen at breakfast, everyone was looking above our heads which was quite disconcerting. I would remove the screens, they are a bit sports bar/holiday camp and not conducive to a relaxing breakfast. The views are wonderful, no screens needed.
