We love the langstone a great place to relax
Price of breakfast
We asked for a quiet room and got one. Clean, spacious bedroom and bathroom. Really comfortable bed. Excellent check-in and check-out.
bar staff could do with some customer service training. The heating/air conditioning in the room was quite noisy.
Easy quick check in with welcoming staff. Room well equipped and comfortable. Value for money breakfast with good views.
Nothing we had a very good stay.
We are smokers and it was good that they had a separate wing to offer this facility.Free wifi a bonus and nice big comfy room with a nice view plus free car park.we never used the spa as my husband forgot his swimwear which was a shame as our stay would have been even better.
Only thing we did not like which can't be helped was the road quite deep in water at high tide when we arrived,we turned around and went off for a bit but it was still deep.we had to drive through the salt water which is not good for any vehicle.one Vehicle was on its side in a ditch as the water covered the ditch and it could not be seen.
Restaurant meal and breakfast. Bed, Bathroom, bar area and venue(wedding)Location.
confusion over whether breakfast included in charge. Many in our group didn't know and although a staff member was asked, (a young waiter), it was quicker in the end to go to reception and ask.
car park needs better white lining, when arriving in dark not clear to make out where you go
Everything! Very dated, stained taps. Disappointed with the shower, a white shower curtain!!! No extraction fan so everything was steamed up.
All facilities wear clean And friendly staff in all Parts of the hotel Especially the health club & swimming pool We stayd ther with our daughter Her husband & our 6 year old grandson
We stayed in room 54 there was a light bulb missing I told the girl on reception & she listed it but it wasn't replaced it made half the room very dark
Lovely looking hotel with great view
Room far to hot
Good location just at the entrance to Hayling Island. Furnishing and fittings throughout the hotel were very good. The meal in the restaurant was also excellent albeit a little pricy. But it is a 4* hotel so higher than normal prices are expected. Swimming Pool very good and we enjoyed the Jacuzzi and steam room.
The rooms were fresh, clean and large with decent facilities including safe; large tv; coffee facilities and view. There was a pool; gym etc and the staff were always friendly. The food was nice and atmosphere pleasant. We intend to return next year and spend a bit longer there.
Nothing of note.
The pillows were very hard.
Leaving ,, why you think , becouse the problems that I reported to staff I.e night porter , duty manager , about the constant door slamming etc. all problems where logged . and the following day I spoke again too a manager about the issue he told me that he would phone my room with the an answer but , no reply .so cannot rate this hotel , with any good points during my stay , and no refund at all......
Choosing too stay there , what a mistake , it was my daughters graduation at chichester collage , and I was below parr due too lack of sleep........
Great facilities, swimming pool large and a very good depth, bedrooms clean and ensuite great. Brasserie good.
The breakfast was poor. Not great value for money. Non- existent vegetarian choice, poor selection of bread, cereals mostly high in sugar with no labels to show calories etc.
had a family room which was very clean & spacious. liked the fact that the room had a fridge, which was very handy, an iron, hairdryer, robe tea making facilities , bottled water & chocolate bar each day was a nice touch.. Leisure facilities are good too.
we did not like the shower/wet room. would of preferred an enclosed shower. Felt wet room does not work as whole bathroom floor was wet after taking a shower & floor took a long time to dry, also no extractor fan in bathroom
Party going on to 0100 hrs then an hour for people to leave from the car park below room 260
uncomfortable bed, noise, cleanliness in general.
As requested, we were given rooms with a view which was very nice. The rooms were very spacious and had everything one could need. The main meal selection in the restaurant was limited and not as good as expected. Price for the room was good, but cost for breakfast too high, especially for children. However, we would go again due to the facilities (including lovely pool), position and space of rooms.
Excessive price for breakfast, especially for children. Limited selection of main courses
We were located immediately next to the function rooms so not only was it nosiey. People were back and forth to their rooms and the function. Did not appreciate ABBA bellowing out when I was update the Great South run the next day.
We chose the hotel because of the use of the spa & gym facilities & because of it's location to our friends. The hotel spa was lovely & we all felt very relaxed afterwards.
It was a shame that we weren't asked how our stay was by the reception staff as we checked out. They were busy but "how did you enjoy your stay?" Or "was everything ok for you?" Would have been a lovely personal touch.
Staff friendly but not easy to find especially at the bar.The room I booked was a superior but appeared to be similar to every other.Food was ok.No view except of shipping containers.Overall an expensive 4 days!
My husband has dementia has no sense of danger.Towel rail was red hot, unable to be regulated.Only one chair, office sytle, too unstable for him.Sofa too low.No grab rail in shower.Room overlooking car park for leisure club, used from early am to late.
We really enjoyed the swimming pool and leisure facilities. The room was lovely with a comfortable sofa to sit on. There was a good choice for breakfast and it was lovely to be able to sit and look out over the estuary.
Location was great as was the peace and quiet. Bed was very comfortable and breakfast was lovely. The staff were very helpful and catered to my specific needs!
Far to many mirrors in the bedroom..!
