This hotel is just under new management and i thought the owners had been running it for years. Right from the moment i arrived i was made to feel welcome and my impression was of a family run hotel, where each guest was made to feel like one of the family. The food was excellent, the rooms were very comfortable and the location was central to the town centre and waterfront. I will be using this hotel again, and will recommend it to my friends. A very enjoyable stay, thank you Lynne and andy, for everything.

The main factor in making our stay so very pleasurable was the family who have recently taken over this hotel, the Housmans - headed up by Andy and Lynne. They are very nice people who are succeeding in moulding a model of excellent sympathetic service to each and every one of their guests. We felt to be among friends with them, and it was such a change to get away from the more soulless and corporate. They just try harder !

Room was clean and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very nice as well. The tele in the room was small and on the other side of the room to the bed, making watching tele from the bed difficult. However there were chairs so you could sit nearer the tele. But would still stay here again.

The hotel is very close to the city centre in a very nice location. I'm 6.4" and but the duvet was a bit short for me, bed was long enough though. Also it took exactly 45 minutes to obtain my breakfast.

I went there off-season for a quiet break, and that was what I got. It is a family-run hotel with excellent facilities for the disabled, which I have mentioned to my 70yr+ old parents. The staff were attentive, getting used to my needs very quickly. I warmly recommend the hotel as a destination for families, disabled, the elderly, and any single people simply wanting to chill out.

A small friendly hotel in a quiet road just off the coast road. Reasonably priced when compared to other hotels in the area although not exactly cheap. The rooms were clean but small. The bed was awful. If you are used to sleeping on the floor you might just find them comfortable.

Location Very poor value for money. 95£ per night for a basic room, a bathroom which didn't even have a shower and a poor breakfast... This is basically an hostel, I felt like it didn't even deserve half of the price we paid.

The disabled facilities were good. Proper coffee was not available to guests outside breakfast. This is unheard of in European hotels. Only one sachet of shampoo & gel was put out between 2 people & the tiny piece of soap was not renewed for the 2nd day. This looks like scrimping. Even though you may think people travel with their own these should be made available for all guests.

I loved the design of my room. It's very classy and "homey". Roy and Ann are excellent hosts; they even prepared vegetarian sausage for my breakfast on the next morning. :)

The staffs are super friendly and hospitality. The location is decent. The bath tube doesn't come with a curtain so it makes it hard to shower.
