The Lismore Hotel  

stayed in a chalet room. this was a little dated. bed was comfortable. room facilities was good. plenty of tea and coffee. a mini fridge. the staff were friendly and helpful. not bad for two star hotel.

my over all experience at the lismore was very good, the hotel is situated on oxford road about a ten mins walk into the town, the lady that checked me in was very pleasant, the hotel is very clean and well presented there is a cosy bar to the left of reception, internet is free, my room had a 4 poster bed and a 2 seater leather sofa, there is a push button security lock on the front door but you are given the code when you check in, i would recommend the lismore without hesitation

Stunning hotel. Nice little chalets at the back, which were good as we were visiting family and didn't get back till late.

Came back on the Sunday night about 8:45 and thought we would have a drink in the bar. Only to be told by a German man that the bar was closed. Even though he sat there with a pint for himself. Also a 9am wake up call to ask if we needed anything wasn't necessary.

I was attending a funeral and the Lismore provided the right atmosphere for this.

The Lismore is what it is. The chalets are utilitarian but do the business. Great potential as a boutique hotel.

Just what I required. Sort walk into the town. Pleasant staff. Room was comfortable.

Radiators didnt get hotter than luke warm on what was a very frosty night.

Ideal location for our mini-break being near to the town centre yet close enough for easy access into the Cotswold area also. The staff were very pleasant, the food was very good and the four poster bed very comfortable. There is a very extensive menu normally available including a wide variety of Pizzas, low priced bar meals right through to huge steaks with an emphasis on high quality.

Our stay coincided with the manager having to go into hospital for a major operation which we were unaware of before arrival. This had a serious impact on the food available with only a limited menu on our second night. That said, our choice of steaks was made available by prior arrrangement on the first night and were excellent but without the sauces that we wanted.

Handy for centre of town, very clean and comfortable.and very competitive price.

Room could have been a wee bit warmer.

The location was convenient and there was a car park. There were plenty of beverages in the room and hairdryer, iron and board. Bathroom had a good supply of everything needed.

The room was minute and bed uncomfortable.. The breakfast was OK but not enough of the cooked full breakfast.

Although located on a busy road it was quiet and I was able to get a good nights sleep. The staff were welcoming and friendly.

Honestly I can't think of anything not to like.

Good English breakfast.We had one evening meal which was good, staff friendly and helpful.Good position for Banbury Town centre.Plenty of parking at the Hotel.
