Friendly, helpful staff.

staff polite and friendly, the rooms were comfortable. The meals in the evening were fresh tasty.

we did not like the breakfasts .

Brilliant breakfast we enjoyed it very much! Staff were friendly too. The surrounds were very pleasant. Room was nice and warm. Just as we got home we made a further booking which we hope to enjoy.

it smellt,toilot door broken,window handel broke,mould around bath,needs updateing badly everywhere will not go again.

The best sleep I've had for ages. Friendly staff. Good food.

Out side appearance does not do the inside any favours.

Nice and quiet even though it is part of a bigger complex. Very friendly and helpful staff. Most of the food was very good.

The roast beef looked and tasted like it was from a frozen Birds Eye product.

Room small but adequate. Although on the A1(M) noise level from road was very low. Good size television,(remote did not work but they quickly changed it). Breakfasr very good, and evening meal good choice and value for money. Ideal for one/two night stay. Staff very helpful.

Bathroom a bit cramped, but had everything you need.

Very relaxed and very quiet, even though a number of guests. Very reasonable priced bar.

Hotel was clean, staff friendly, food was good and freshly prepared. Room was quiet and clean.

Room was on ground floor overlooking The Courtyard so didn't have any view or much daylight.

Large, clean, comfortable rooms. Friendly, helpful staff. Good choice of food in bar/restuarant. Located near main road (but not noisy) for ease of travelling there and then central for exploring areas of Yorkshire Dales and Moors. Excellent value for money.

On arrival no heating on in the room as weather was extremely cold room took along time to heat up

Decor a little dated.

Slightly surprised how good it was-convenient location and the room was very acceptable. I was very impressed by the evening meal and the breakfast also good. Value for money excellent all round Ideal for an overnight stop on way north

Ease of access,buffet help yourself breakfast (although a better choice for vegetarians for the cooked breakfast would be nice, e.g mushrooms, hash browns, vegie sausage etc?

one staff member very friendly and helpful nice breakfast except for sausages.
