The bedrooms was a good size and it was very clean. Also the bathroom was well equiped and very clean. We had a complaint about a bar meal. Initially the bar staff dealt badly with this but the reception staff were much more helpful. |

Good car park. Tennis. Grande appearance. Good location The lifts are too old. Poor value for money. Radiators vibrated at times. Pricey food & room service. |

Peace and relaxation, the staff didn't bother you unless you needed something, left to enjoy our very pleasant stay. Restaurant first class for our evening meal and breakfast. |

Excellent value for money. We had a standard twin room, very spacious with plenty coffee/tea making facilities. Bathroom also very spacious. Could have done with a bit of a polish. Furniture quite dusty. Also, breakfast price quite high - £13.50 (even higher than the Hilton!) |

Clean room, good service. The appalling waste of eg soap and shampoo - anything that had been used once would be replaced. |

the evening meal was excellent....but the service was from young...under trained staff...who had little or no idea of procedures in a supposed four star restaurant. the reception area,no seating,no plants, very sparse for such a lovely place... |

Service from reception and bar staff was excellent, food in the bar and restaurant was very good. The service in the restaurant on an evening was slow and a little disorganised however we have stayed at this hotel on many previous occasions and not had this problem. |

The staff were courteous and helpful. Our room was spacious and well equipped. My wife and I relaxed and used the hotel's leisure facilities (gym and pool). We used the bar - which was comfortable and atmospheric. It would help if those with mobility difficulties could enter the pool without calling for the assistance of an attendant/member of staff. Perhaps a ramp could be installed into the pool .The *temporary" restaurant was used to serve dinner and breakfast on our first night. Unfortunately, we had to wait in the corridor for in excess of 10 minutes before being seated for breakfast. |

Location was very good and so was the food, however it was more like a 3* hotel. A grand hotel. |
