The location of the hotel was brilliant. The breakfast was very good.

It was a bit pricey.

Very poor dinner Friday evening. Badly cooked food and expensive. I don't expect hotel food to be great but this was very disappointing. Breakfast was also below average. It was one of our friends 50th birthday and they ordered champagne and chocolate. The champagne arrived but no chocolate and no appology. The bar was poorly stocked and the staff will trying to be helpfull seemed badly trained.

Evening meal and breakfast very good.

Out dated room and bathroom and poor service with non comunative staff.

Location, size of rooms, comfort, amongst others. We had a really good time.

Pool was a bit on the small side but enjoyable nonetheless.

The. Premium room was fabulous good old fashioned style

The breakfast was second to none. The public areas were sumptuous and the staff very helpful.

The room was a bit tatty round the edges and had seen better days. Although the bathroom was huge, the toilet was crammed into a corner and the bath was small and narrow. The shower was very poor and the flimsy shower curtain clung to the body as I tried to shower with my arms pinned by my side the space being too narrow to actually move! Not up to 4 star standard I'm afraid.

Hotel failed to take care of some goods which were delivered to the reception and we had to leave without them.This caused inconveience and hassle to both the store-Decor- and us. Goods were in hotel but "could not" be found when we were leaving!

Comfortable bed, size of room, quality of tv and breakfast. Plus location

No extractor fan in the bathroom. No indication of which switch operated the towel rail

We liked the sheer luxury, the large bedroom/on-suite size. The beauty of all the interior. All the friendly staff, the wonderful atmosphere, in fact every singe thing about this hotel.

Having to leave this all, after (only) 3 days!!!

Door key card kept failing

We had a lovely big twin room with comfy beds. Felt quite luxurious with nice views. Staff were friendly. Loved the big staircases. The shortbread with the coffee in the bar was a welcome treat!

The restaurant for residents was a bit disappointing in terms of the standard of the main courses, but this might just be a one off. The wine was excellent.

The hotel was comfortable and close to amenities

The bedroom we were in was in need of a revamp it was very tired and really cried out for a good clean

room, swimming pool, Jacuzzi, bathroom and shower.

Lack of teabags in room, and price of food via room service.

Beautiful Building having a fabulous interior with a touch of yesteryear luxury. Top marks to Housekeeping the room was large, well designed, elegant and spotless. Breakfast was wonderful, so much choice - eggs cooked to perfection, well done!

A serious lack of communication within the Hotel, spoiled our much looked forward to stay there. Somewhere along the line our booking had turned from, a double room with extra bed with breakfast included, to a double room with extra bed only - no breakfast. Although this was soon sorted at reception, unfortunately a lack of communication between staff within the hotel, was to cause us a problem and more than a little embarrassment when we went for breakfast the next morning. As if it wasn't bad enough having to explain the confusion again in front of a queue of other guests waiting to be seated for their breakfast, it happened again the next morning too. When making front line staff aware of this we didn't feel the apology given was heartfelt, nor did we feel our complaint was taken too seriously. Although I would be prepared to stay at Majestic again in the hope that I was wrong and my concerns had been taken on board and better staff communications had been implemented, I am not prepared to recommend it to other travelers at this time.

The swimming pool, large room, good breakfast with excellent service.

Unadvertised extra charges for our young daughter who was staying with us. Had to queue daily to redeem car park voucher.
