I stayed at the hotel because my regular guest house (teh excellent Charles House) was full due to it being half term. Consequently many other places were also full. I chose the Manor because it was featured on Booking.com with a Good 7 rating so I thought no more about it. I chose a Standard Double rather than the Petite Double (thank goodness) but even then the room was very small. I thought the window was wide open due to the traffic noise but it was closed. Every time anybody walked along the corridor the floorboards creeked and the whole room shook. No one asked if I needed assistance with my bags when I checked in. Due to my poor first impression I looked up the 167 comments on Booking.com and realised that many people had similar complaints. Spent two nights with barely any sleep.

We stayed at the Manor for a Wedding Reception that was being held at the hotel. The room, we booked the day before, we understood it to be "petite" as advertised, but not a box. The size of the room meant for two of us getting ready to go out in the event was unacceptable and as a claustrophobic, I found it very hard to be in. For 1 person it's would be funny for two people completely unacceptable and for an elderly couple incredibly difficult. We understand your a business, but you can't sell a box room. Also the fire alarm had a plastic bag covering it, which is illegal and you're lucky we havent reported this. You're breakfast for £9.95 of a pot of coffee is nothing other than a rip off and if you'd like to compensate the money back then that would be something. Manor Hotel for selling a box room at £85 and selling a pot of coffee for £9.95 Shame on you

The bed was comfortable Being locked out at midnight. No-one in reception. Complete ignorance of train timetable from a hotel 30seconds from the main line station to London!

Petite double room was upgraded to a standard double which was a nice touch. also there are very few parking spaces outside the hotel, but when the receptionist was informed she directed me to an alternate secure private parking area a short walk away

Very convenient location for our business meeting. Staff was cordial and helpful. Service at restaurant was good, food was fine for the level of hotel. Had to carry our bags up two flights. No elevator. Bedroom size was ok, but without a window. Bathroom was very poorly laid out: could not stand in front of toilet due to dormer ceiling; sink faucet was to short to wash or shave properly, and there was no mirror or lighting over sink. No light on or over desk in bedroom. Very limited number of tv channels, with poor reception on several.

The waiters in your dining room were excellent. As a solo traveller, I was given excellent service, without the feeling of being rushed through my meal. They were attentive, and nothing was too much trouble. It made my holiday a pleasure.

The staff were all very friendly and we even received a room upgrade (without asking) as they weren't fully booked that evening. The room was very comfortable and clean, and it's located on a "High Street" and our room was at the front of the building, it wasnt at all noisy. Would definitely visit again. We went for a drink in the bar and my glass smelt like Marmite.

The location At 23:00 we asked at the bar if it we could order a snack and was told no the kitchen's were closed. We asked if there was room service and was told no. At 02:00am the night porter knocked on our door and said our phone kept ringing in reception. We had not used the phone at all so unplugged it. At around 03:00 in the morning we were woken again by someone being violenty sick in the next room - the sound proofing of the rooms is so poor that we could hear everything!! It was as though we were sharing his room. This is just scratching the surface I could go on. In all not a satisfactory stay at all and I would not recommend it to anyone.

Nothing. We were so disappointed to stay in such poor accommodation. My brother Paul Turnbull (lives at Priory Mead) was fifty that weekend and we were looking forward to a fabulous stay at your hotel. What a waste of money. We did not sleep at all well and I have suffered teaching this week at school through such tiredness. Some examples of our disappointment are: the room was claustrophobic, the bedside light constantly flickered, cob-webs hung from the ceiling, the sheets had old blood stains on, dirt on the floor and woodwork. Horrid experience, I actually felt that we should not have paid for this stay. Paul Turnbull is a known member of your community so my husband Clifford did not want to make a fuss.

The breakfast was good and the morning serving staff friendly. The location is ideal for a weekend visiting Windsor. The public areas were very nice and comfortable. Disinterested reception staff. Poor service in the bar & restaurant in the evening. A room advertised as "classic double room, recently refurbished" was anything but - it was poky, untidy and completely underwhelming. Old TV with very limited channel choice and not viewable from the bed, The bathroom was very small and not well cleaned - the bath itself dangerous as very slippery when showering. We had a room over the function room - they knew they had a function booked but they still put us in there even though the hotel was not very busy. It is no good telling us at 8.00 pm that it will be noisy. It is certain that even if we had been moved the noise would still have been ubearable - the hotel is too small to have functions that are noisy late into the night. Made worse by cleaning staff coming on shift at 06.00 chattering loudly, at length, under our window. Just what we needed after an already terrible nights (lack of) sleep!

The location was great, in the heart of Datchet near the water. I booked a double room but was given a single which was the smallest room I had ever been in. I couldn't open my suitcase and open the bathroom door. The shower just didn;t work properly which was due to the poor plumbing in the hotel, to have a shower I had to let the water run so slowly that you couldn't really wash. All in all very uncomfortable stay.

Been here about 15 years ago and decided to return. Location handy for everywhere. Only downside was when one of your staff got an electric shock from a socket in our room, when investigating a faulty bedside lamp!

This hotel is very close to Heathrow in a pretty village. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We flew in overnight from Chicago, arriving early morning and because the room we booked was not ready they upgraded us at no extra cost. The only negative thing is there was no lift and so you have to be prepared to carry your cases up and down a number of stairs, particularly if you are at the far end of the hotel. This is not really a negative, more a point to take into consideration when booking.

The hotel had character and I had a nice room with a very comfortable bed with good cotton sheets! I had a very good meal in the hotel restaurant. Free parking at the hotel which was next to the station so handy for trips into London. I had a small double room in the roof. The velux window in the room would not open and the bathroom window opened straight onto the extraction from the hotel kitchens which was smelly and noisy. The shower curtain was dirty and there was not space to actually close it with me inside as its rail was too close to the wall/corner. There was no bulb in the bedside lamp. For £65 a night I would have expected better, also this did not include breakfast.
