breakfast was great. Bathroom in superior room excellent. Hotel's common area's very nicely decorated - especially in adjoining cottage. Staff very friendly and accomodating. I booked an upgraded room and on arrival was dissapointed with its size and decor so upgraded again. This superior room was very nice and more like the illustrated pictures on the website - one small fault was the carpets were a little thread bare in places. Its a shame all rooms weren't of this quality as i ended up paying a lot for what is fast becoming the norm. |

Quick, efficient check in/out , secure parking, close to railway station. Good food and pleasant bar/resturant. Room was smaller than expected, and rather cramped. Not particularly clean and the window was broken - making the traffic/plane noise intrusive. |

The room felt cramped for a double, the curtains were torn and not hanging so they closed properly. There were holes in walls around electrical fittings. |

There was no hot water to take a shower on the morning of my stay. I had to take a cold shower not very good on a cold autumn morning. When I told the reception on checking out he said "Oh I am very sorry about that, it is ok to have a cold shower on a hot morning but not when it is as cold as it is today" |

We stayed there twice. The first time was mediocre in a double room. The second time in an 'executive' room which was so much better. Worth paying the extra. Breakfast was good and the general ambiance of hotel was good. |

The breakfast was exceptional. Well done! My family were placed in an annex to the main hotel, as there was a wedding take place in the hotel on the evening we stayed. The annex was a short walk away from the main hotel, in a separate converted house. Whilst the accommodation was good, we stayed overnight with a 4 year old, and having to cross a busy road and a level crossing every time we wanted to get to the main hotel (for breakfast etc) was very inconvenient. |

No security covering the car park area and was not advised of this when I checked in even though I asked if the car park was safe overnight. I have since been informed that all of the external cameras are deterants and are not active. My car was the only vehicle broken into during my stay and nobody from the hotel alerted me or the police that the back window had been smashed even though they could clearly see the damage while brushing the patio area etc. |

I have stayed in 10 hotels in the Windsor area over the last 3 months, in an attempt to find the perfect hotel for my on-going business trips to the region. Your hotel has the very best front office staff of all the hotels in the area. The rooms are quite small & the location is difficult to get to. The parking issue makes it less than ideal To cramped for me, but I am from Africa & am therefore use to very big spaces. |

Secure parking facility. It was unfortunate for us that there was a wedding & large party held on the evening that we stayed & accordingly the restaurant was closed! However, helpful receptionist advised us on an alternative dining place within easy reach to the hotel. |

The stuff was great, very friendly and helpful. We had family room with sofa for children, which was absolutely impossible to sleep on even for 6 years child. We also had a train station just under the window. This family room was not in the hotel building, so they might have better rooms. |

It was a handy stop-over for our day in Windsor. The breakfast was very good. Bedding very clean. Staff pleasant. The room was very small at the rear of the hotel - the smallest hotel room we have ever stayed in. The bathroom did not look very clean but I think it was mainly due to the grouting which looked black in places. A glass phial was left on the dressing table from the previous occupant. |

friendly staff, clean, comfortable room and free wifi. would have liked a better selection of bar meals, menu was limited and more snack based (burger, soup, sandwiches etc). |

The pub across the road, proximity to the train station because decorating was taking place in the main bar and dining room we had no access to any facilities during weddings, these took place on friday, saturday and sunday. we were told on friday (after asking) that breakfast was 8-10am, turning up for breakfast on monday at 9am we were told monday to friday is 7-9am. The wallpaper was peeling off the wall in the bedroom (wallpaper was made a big deal of on your web site). Also, paint was peeling off the ceiling in the bathroom - all in all, a very tired-looking room. There was no available local information for tourists, the staff knew nothing of the area, therefore i wouldn't recommend this hotel to tourists. also the shower is too small to shower in and the sink dosn't hold water. |
