Nicely decorated room. Good breakfast. Friendly and helpful staff. We stayed on a Saturday night and the noise from the pub downstairs was a bit too much for us. The noise continued till about 2am which meant that we couldn't sleep until around 2am. Parking is a little bit of an issue. The nearest long stay parking spaces in the town are in Waitrose, about a 5min walk away. So have to really drop the luggage off before parking the car and walking back. But not unexpected with a central town location. Recommend staying here on any other day other than friday or saturday.

The hotel was very clean and tidy, the staff were friendly, professional and hardworking.. The food & wine was good/excellent. All at a very reasonable price. No parking?

The staff are very good and helpful. They bent over backwards to help as our flight was delayed and thus made us late for check in time. We would certainly suggest this hotel/bar/restaurant to our friends and family.

The rooms were clean, attractive and had nice finishing touches (toiletries, clock/radio etc, ironing board). There was a friendly feel to the place too. I was surprised the toilets for the bar were also in the area for residents - not great for security, surely?

The Hotel and staff were very good. The Dinner was excellent and inspite of the number of diners, the courses came without delay. The inclusive "Full English Breakfast" was aslo excellent. Unfortunately for us there was a wedding reception at the same time, making parking impossible. A town map showing All Night Parking would have been very useful as Witney dose not believe in Parking signs.

We particularly liked the accommodation, bar & restaurant areas. Having previously stayed at the Marlborough the transition is welcome & justifies the money invested by the new owners. The lack of car parking proved to be a problem as on our previous stay it was available. Potential visitors should bear in mind that it isn't easy to find anywhere to park, in Witney, on a busy day.

The Manager was just so helpful, even giving me a take away bacon roll when I had missed breakfast! I had dinner with 8 clients and the food was great but the service not fantatsic as it was a very busy night
