- General first impression of the hotel: a retirement home form the 1970'. But that would be no problem for us if it wasnt for the following.
- The walls in the rooms are too thin, I could hear our neighbours conversation, as well as the TV...all night long!
- No wifi in the rooms, although it is clearly pointed out in the room description that there is free wifi in all rooms. After asking the receptionst upon arrival why there is no interenet available, he kindly informed us that he would have to reboot the modem, and that in 10 minutes we would be able to go online. After 10 minutes, still no internet. Tried to call reception many times (for the reason in the next point as well), no answer. Tried to talk to them twice more, but they were too busy with new guests. Since we had a wedding to attend that day, and only returned home late, we didnt get to speak to the staff until next monirng, when we were checking out. It was pointed out to us that free wifi is only available in the lobby (nobody even mentioned that before). After repeating what other receptionist said about rebooting the modem, the more than unfriendly receptionist Andrea was quick to let us know that it is our fault that we didnt have any internet, since we should have come down AGAIN after talking to the receptionist the first time, and let him know that the reboot didnt work. Our attempts to call the reception from our room while getting ready for the wedding were ignored. Extremely unprofessional.
- No hot water in the bathroom!!! We had a wedding to attend, and we were not able to take a shower, and wash our hair normally. We were not offered an alternative, but were simply sent back to our rooms, and told that we would be called back in 10 minutes to let us know when the water would be running again.
If I have to say anything positive about the place, I would probably have to say that the location was somewhat ok. It wasn't far off the main shopping area and the beach.
