Checking out never to return After a struggle to park we tried to get a drink but after 10 mins gave up and went across the road. Getting back to our room we could not sleep due to the loud music just beneath our room. We were told this goes on till 12 if you want to leave we'll refund you (11.20pm just the time to find another hotel) We were told the manager will come to your room at 8 am to discuss the problem. Next morning he did not show and calling reception we were told "I am Alan the owner if you want to see me you come here" We went to reception to be told "I'll refund your money and bid you farewell" This man should sell his hotel and run a coffee stall he may be better suited

It was close to the shops & beach. Both were within easy walking distance. Liked the breakfast as it was cooked to order, staff were friendly. Although the staff were nice. On arrival I couldn't actually find someone to check in. There was a sign telling me to go to the bar, which had about 8-10 people waiting to be served. It says on the website no need to reserve a parking space, yet when we arrived there was nowhere to park. A man(i think the chef) helped us to find somewhere to park. So thankyou to him, whoever you were.

Great location, hotel room fairly basic and in need of a lick of paint and a new bathroom suite. Full English breakfast was ordinary, they seemed a bit short staffed to be honest! Would encourage the hotel to invest some money in some better quality matresses.

Cheap and cheerful..... Says it all. But we only stayed overnight and it was perfect for that purpose. The receptionist was lovley and the manager friendly and the location to town perfect. Didnt stay long enough to find any bad points.

Friendly staff, nice room. Execellent value. Party music at the night. While this wasn't a real problem, it was very audible, and it would have been nice had we known about this in advance.

I liked the fact that it was very clean, our room and our bathroom were spotless. The shower was lovely as well - very powerful and hot! The receptionist was very friendly and welcoming. The location was excellent - 10 minutes (max) walk and we were in the main town. There isn't alot you can not really like about this hotel - the only gripe we had was the walls were very thin so it always sounded like people were stomping through the hallways.

Can honestly say I cant pinpoint anything I liked! Reception wouldnt let my partner up to my room to wait fr me to get ready and he had to wait up the road in kfc! So when me and my friend were ready to go out we actually got stopped on the way out at reception by a man telling us 'if you try and brin anyone back here tonight I will call the police mo questions asked' in a really patronising, rude and almost spiteful way. The beds were very uncomfortable, walls paper thin, lift was literally like a dumbwaiter tiny and a lil bit scary !! if you called reception from the room they simply ddnt answer I wont be back!!!!

The hotel was clean and fairly comfortable, and was perfectly adequate for our stay. It was only a short walk to the beach, which was lovely. The lady in the restaurant (I think her name may have been Linda?) Was absolutely lovely, and couldn't do enough for us. The only real issue was the temperature of the room. The radiator was off but it was like a sauna at night. We did open the window, but due to the evening entertainment downstairs in the hotel, it was very noisy! However, this did not go on too late. The bathrooms could do with an update, but were perfectly clean and functional.

The ladies on reception were nice and that is where it stops! Disgusting service- there was a wedding the same day so no one was interested in helping anyone in our group! At times even the receptionist was having to serve us in the bar because the bar man was busy. Do not go here if there is a big group of you! Would recommend the Picadilly hotel next door 100% more hospitable!

The room was a good size with comfortable beds Unfortunately because there was a wedding at the hotel & the patio area was directly below our room we had trouble sleeping because of the noise. Not a complaint really because the wedding party seemed to be having a lovely time!
