A short walk from St Helier's shops, Howard Davis Park and Havre de Pas beach, this modern family-friendly hotel has 2 swimming pools, evening entertainment and helpful service. Metropole Hotel has an indoor pool, an outdoor pool and a jacuzzi, steam bath and a gym. Surrounding the outdoor pool is pool-side terrace and grounds area with children's wading pool. There is a small game room and a soft play area for toddlers. Breakfast and dinner are served daily in Metropole’s spacious Dining Room, where a children's menu is also provided. The Coffee Shop serves snacks, and there is also a lounge bar and free Wi-Fi in public areas. Hotel Rooms: 147

I found the Hotel very central to town and pier. It was very easy to travel then since the bus station is in centre of town. The hotel is very comfortable and very homely with its lovely gardens. I found it very relaxing and suitable for all ages. The hotel entertainment could be better. Apart from that everybody was very nice, and efficient, and made my stay very pleasant. I would go back. Nighly entertainment could be better.

The hotel has ever changing guests coming and going on coaches everyday. The hotel feels a little like a transit camp for elderly people

Good location to town centre, plus short walk to beach. Bed room No 45. no view from window. Plus noise from extractor out side window, which ment that you had to keep window shut. Which made the room very stuffy. Mention this to reception next morning after arriverall. Nothing done about it.

The food was very good and the staff helpful and pleasant. On the whole all very satisfactory The only downside was there was not always a member of staff behind the bar in the lounge so there was a bit of hanging around there

Very relaxing pleasant stay. Lovely to have a fan in the room as it was beautiful weather. Also nice to have an excellent silver service breakfast. All Staff were very well trained and in particular I would like to highlight the poolside Cafe staff. Thank you all. Not a complaint just ensure that notices for lift closure are displayed both outside and inside the lift. A wee bit disappointed that I couldnt get lift sometimes as door was left open. Entertainment very basic.

very convenient for the town centre and access to car/bike hire, restaurants etc it was listed as couples/family hotel but in fact the average age of the guests was 60-80. I felt the entertainment and food in the restaurant was geared towards this age group. had I known this i wouldn't have booked - and because of this I won't be recommending it to anyone.Also the quality of the restaurant evening meal was appalling.

Les petits déjeuners très copieux, la piscine Le personnel de l'accueil n'est pas aimable avec la clientèle française qu'il doit considérer comme pas assez fortunée . Mauvais point ce qui fait que je ne peux recommander cet hôtel
