Triple room for two overlooking pool, indoor and outdoor pool, very good staff, management, bar,and restaurant manager and waiter, so obliging, couldnot fault it at all
The hotel is centrally located, so easy to walk within St Helier. Parking facilities. Hotel is clean, good lounges, and the pools and gym mean you can have some exercise if you want it! I've recommended it ONLY for these reasons - if you don't intend using it for anything other than a base then this is good value for money.
Dinner! We had to pre-book anything from the a la carte menu by 4.30pm - hard if you are out for the day. The standard menu is like eating school dinners - not what I would expect of this standard of hotel. We didn't eat here after the first night. Breakfast was fine - what can you do badly to bacon and eggs!
The staff were very helpful and attentive
Very dated place. Wifi only in places.
The first room we were shown was dingy and smelled of damp with no view whatsoever.
Bedroom V.Warm No Air Con Windows not open far enough
Warm weather, room very warm, no air con. Some kind of a machine droned near our room almost all the time!!
From the minute we arrived we were made to feel welcome. All the staff had a smile on there faces whenever we went down to reception. Our waiter in the restaurant was very enthusiastic. And saw to our needs efficiently. Very good
My pillow was a bit too firm. I could have asked for a replacement. But didn't
Central location to beach and shops
Indoor & outdoor pools friendly staff
I found all staff from the porters, cleaners to the Bar and Restaurant Manger extremely helpful and efficient. The waiters were particularly good. The street it's located in is not pretty but the Hotel itself is as it's covered in flowers and in 2-3 mins walk you can be right in the centre of the town and on through the town to the seafront. The food was superb with a good selection at both dinner and breakfast. We had booked only B&B as we ate out with relatives except for a couple of night when the evening meal represented excellent value for money. All round an hotel I would be happy to return to.
It was extremely hot at night without air conditioning and they did not have enough fans to go round.
The hotel was dated but very clean , location 5 mins walk to centre , great shopping, if you hand your car keys in you can double park so never a problem.
Beds are very uncomfortable, breakfast not great
The staff were very helpful, the kettles in our rooms didn`t work but were replaced as soon as we complained. The rooms were very clean.
The corridors to get into our rooms were very confusing, too many stairs, too many stories in my opinion. The lift is very old, small. For the price the hotel needs some renovations in some sections.
Waiter (manuel) in morning very cheerful, helpful and efficient
The reception area staffing was very poor to check in. Lots of clients checking out and in with 6 staff members - only 1 serving. No acknowledgement, apology or sense of urgency. Very rude demanding payment with no explanation - we believed we had paid!
Staff was very helpful.
Bar only open at 5:30 pm on a Saturday! Madness. Hotel very dated
Location was reasonably good. Short walk into the centre of town.
Rude dining room staff. Dining room staff with personal hygiene problems. This is not acceptable in a food serving environment. The beds were uncomfortable. The hotel choose to recycle their beer and wine bottles at around 07.00 hours each day. This process including dropping bottles from a normal size dustbin into a big green wheelie bin, creating an almighty crash of glass on glass and waking people at an hour that is not acceptable. There is not enough parking for all guests, made worse by facilities being available to non residents.
spacious clean room, clean pool indoor and out. Maid was excellent. Good location very central.
awful view from our room, Reception staff werent very friendly. Demanded money as soon as we arrived, didnt ask how our journey was and didnt even acknowledge my son with me. When corrected amount the amount i was to pay which was over £300.00 no apology was given. Breakfast was poor, toast was cold every day, tea wasnt enough in the pot for more than one cup each.
Near to Town Centre Good breakfast
