The Millers Arms Inn  

Its location is perfect for a visit to Canturbury. Service was friendly.

My en-suit bathroom had a revolting smell of sewage. I could only resolve this by sleeping with the bedroom window open all night since the extractor fan did not work.

The staff were very friendly and helpful and made us feel at home. The atmosphere was good,we got to know a few people inside almost immediately,suffice to say, we would return

The staff are friendly and helpful and the rooms are well decorated, clean and comfortable. The location is quiet and peaceful yet close to the cathedral, (my room had a view of it). The Miller is tucked slightly away from the main tourist drag and the pub-crawl circuit and I have never been disturbed by creaky staircases or noise from adjoining rooms, which can be a feature of some hotels in Canterbury. I have stayed in various different locations over the years and the Miller is my favourite. I am seemingly not the only one who thinks so as this place can get fully booked up. The bar is cosy (small) and had a log fire going at night. The pub is run by the Shephard Neame brewery who brew good ale, but could stock an improved range of ciders if they were to put there mind to it.(Hint, hint!)

Convenient for the wedding reception held there. Warm Friendly atmosphere welcoming /helpful staff. Would recommend to family and friends. Delcious breakfasts.

It's close enough to the train station and it's brilliantly located in the city. I had a good view of the cathedral from my window. The inn has an old world charm.

It was very comfortable and the staff without exception were friendly and professional.

The staff were, courteous, polite and very helpful. The restaurant food was excellent and the accommodation very comfortable.

All staff friendly and could not do enough to help. Good location, close to Cathedral, shops and restaurants. Comfortable, clean rooms.

Close proximity to City Centre and Cathedral as main purpose of visit was to attend a special service on Sunday afternoon. Breakfasts very good. Staff helpful and friendly.

No parking, didn't rate food very highly

Very convienient hotel for Canterbury, only a 5 minute walk to the cathedral. Also other local attractions. Car park is literally accross the road & with a (chargeable) Hotel 24 parking voucher very cost effective,staff great & food reasonable, breakfast very good.

Rooms need updating, but I think this is in hand to do shortly.

Climbing the stairs with the luggage was challenging ( the personnel however offered to help us ). Of course no one would expect to find a lift in such an ancient building ! The noise of the running water coming from the river in front could ( and should ) be limited by proper acoustic insulation of the window, without harming the style of the building.
