Location to family excellent as we used to live in Broughton Astley. Relations still living at Broughton, Narborough and Lutterworth. Dined in the pub twice and food was very good but could not locate adult friendly area for dining.

The room was spacious and clean. Service in the restaurant speedy and polite. Pleasant atmosphere for families. Decoration brown all over - very dull especially as the window was small! Had to ask for a hand set for the tv, but was delivered speedily.

We have stayed at the Mill on the Soar many times and have never had any problems. The rooms are nice and spacious and there is plenty of room for the cot we need for the baby. The staff are very friendly and the rooms are always clean. The rooms have the most comfortable beds and pillows we have ever slept on! There is sometimes some noise from the pub but this is rare and not for long.

The location was good, the pub next door was good value. The room itself was fine, with very comfy beds, it is lodge style so you have your own front door. The coffee and tea making facilities were well stocked. The bathroom was a good size and clean. Although the room was decent enough, the decor was far too dark and needs to be a bit brighter. A new shower curtain would have been nice.

Good inexpensive accomodation One meal was very poor - othe was good - a bit too variable The cask beer range had only premium ales (4%+) - when are pubs going to learn that they must provide a <4% ale alternative for the comforst of its drinkers

Buzzing noise in my room all night.. Reception was closed when I went to ask for a room change. No number clearly visible to call.. Had around 2 hours sleep. To be fair they did offer me a free nights stay as compensation.

Reception desk was closed on arrival, as was the pub so we were unable to eat or have anything to drink there. The room was simply left open with the key in the door.

Plenty of free parking space in a very pleasant location. We have fammily in the district and a good, very well served meal for us all on Friday evening. The highlight for me was Robert bringing a lovely bowl of hot porridge for breakfast when we left on the Monday morning.
