Car park handling
Super comfy bed and very clean room. The staff were all lovely, polite and very helpful. The breakfast was superb. We stayed here to see a concert in the Pavillions and it was just a stone's throw away, which made the visit even better!
realy nice room and surprisingly quiet considering the location
there was no shower cap or tissues in bathroom
Food was good
We only stayed one night, but staff at reception very welcoming and helpful and room was very clean and comfortable. Also very good size as there were 3 of us sharing a room. No complaints at all. Wld have been nice to have stayed longer.
The greetings and joviality of the staff and the comfort of the room
there was nothing
Front of house excellent and inviting.breakfast service and food excellent.
Breakfast room at back of hotel and had to walk passed stored items- access from lobby could be improved and made more inviting.
Very good sized room and good value for money; the standard was what I'd expect of an hotel costing up to another £30 per night.
Promised free wifi was not accessible and, despite staying mid-week, the neighbouring Wetherspoons crowd was an irritation.
Use of the facilities (pool and sauna etc). Paid breakfast was well worth the money. Good room temperature. Beautiful building and well furnished.
Starchy towels. For a double room it was small and the bed was too. En suite was also small. Many stairs. No view (bathroom window opposite someone else's).
Location to plymouth pavillions and town only a couple of minutes walk. On site parking. Lovely cooked breakfast just wish there had been a little bit more as it was so good. Room a good size although a bit dated but clean and tidy.
Lack of towels. Only 1 set between two of us and asked for another to be put in the room but upon our later return they hadnt done so.
The food and service was very good. We had a problem with noise owing to Xmas functions the staff moved us to another room that was quiet but not as comfy.
Comfort and convenience Single room was spacious enough Breakfast was good Staff provided helpful tips on nearby restaurants
There was a miss-communication as we had asked reception for a taxi a good half hour before we needed it and when we came down to wait, it had not been ordered, making us late.
Breakfast service was very good.A error in the booking on the part of the hotel was quickly corrected.Room was overall very good & clean & service was very efficient.
Hot Water tap kept spitting very hot water over your hands. The towel rail was hot at the bottom but cold at the top.The satch windows would not close but only close with extreme difficulty. Were was the saterlite T.V.?
Lovely hotel with great staff and good sized accommodation. Breakfast very nice and a great location for anywhere in plymouth. would use it again
Hotel doesn't look that nice from the outside but once inside it was great
Good location next to Pavilions and near Shopping Centre. Staff were friendly at reception when not distracted by 'chatting to each other'. Parking available. Clean and reasonably well presented inside. Little outside noise despite other reviews saying different.
Room 517: Bed was small and very firm. I'm 6'1 and feet were hanging out the end. Only had shower in small bathroom. Breakfast was cheap in quality, small selection and service was VERY hurried. For the price and in our experience, a Premier Inn would've been better option.
We got a heavily discounted rate for 2 nights - good value for money. Staff friendly, breakfast was good. Nice bar & reception area. Bedroom clean.
Normal rack rate a bit high for what you get. Wouldn't have rated it as highly if paying full price.
The rooms and bathrooms are excellent - spacious and with full-sized baths. The room service was prompt - even though there were multiple functions going on downstairs. The pool, steam room and gym are all fantastic!
The hotel's popularity; there was no room in the car park!
Great staff, nothing too much trouble. Excellent shower Comfortable bed in good sized room Great swimming pool
Changing room for pool was cold
Everything. We always stay here when visiting the theatre and it is always very comfortable. Staff exceptionally friendly and helpful. Recommended.
What a wast of money I wish I'd of booked travelodge
Bed are far to small and the rooms need updating as well as the car parking
The reception looked absolutely lovely, nicely decorated for Christmas.
The bed seemed really tiny. The bedroom and bathroom were so spacious they could have easily accommodated a larger bed. Minimal toiletries in the bathroom. The breakfast was hugely disappointing, wish we'd popped across the road to Wetherspoons.
The lady on the front desk
The staff is friendly maximum
Parking is too expensive
Its close to the shopping centre which is why we went.
Bed was a small double so quite uncomfortable. Tap wouldn't turn off properly and kept awake from 2.30am until 4.30 with noisy party goers outside.
