Price staff location
No mini bar! But who cares the price in central London was awsome
The room was value for money.
We could smell cigarette smoke in the room. Quite Strong also in the bathroom.
Dirty, mould, uncomfortable bed, heater not working, smelly,
Great location for Brixton Academy, nice pubs nearby. Great room size :) Fab cafes across the road. Helpful staff and fantastic value for money!
Room was a bit hot and the traffic noise was bad; but then again you are in the middle of Camberwell!
comfortable bed near the bus stop, so you can quickly reach the city center
came into the room we found a full garbage bag on the table and two empty bottles of lemonade. Unwashed cups. There is no shampoo in the bathroom. TV without a remote control. I think if you want it, you must to pay for remote control panel. Noise in the hallway and very big noise from the streets. Leaky window, so it's cold and you can feel the wind in the room. If you want, you must to pay for the Internet and for breakfast.
Many buses u can get from there
Location away from underground and 20 mins away from the railway. Expensive for what it actually offers. Wifi only if you pay. Terrible breakfast.
Only thing I did like about this hotel was the friendly staff and was reasonably quiet! Would not go back there again!
Floor, walls, curtains, nets and furniture were dirty. Room was too small. Bathroom was way too small and smelt weird. Pay a deposit for a tv remote? Was not at all worth the money I paid for the room,I wouldn't of even paid half! Sorry this hotel was not for me!
Heating was up high it was too hot even with the windows open in December!
The room was comfortable and the staff were really friendly.
The room felt like a sauna at times and could not find a way to turn the heating down
Great location and comfy bed, good for your money
Not very nicely decorated
The location was convenient for our needs.
Very basic. Didn't try the breakfast. Room was reasonable, but a feeling of being a bit unclean and decoratvely old.
location access to varied trade transport at the door
Very expensive for the service provided Some of the staff little sympathetic very small rooms room with dusty between paid nights , there was no exchange of linens
Travelled down for a gig, were in the hotel for about 6 hours all in. Couldn't fault it, comfortable, clean & was just what we needed. Bed was super comfy.Any dealings with staff were pleasant & helpful
Didnt get a chance to try the breakfast due to flight times
Staff, cleanliness, price, location for Brixton Academy
Nothing . Price was excellent and was exactly what our group needed and was expecting.
I like everything nothing left
there's nothing i don't like
Cheap, clean and lots of food and pub options in the area.
You have to hand your key in to reception whenever you leave the hotel which is a little odd and uncomfortable. It is stated that this is for 'security' but when you return all you have to do is tell them your room number and they give you the key, no checking I.D or anything (and this was a receptionist whom had not seen me before)
The hotel was clean and comfortable. The staff were all friendly and happy to help with any enquiry.
although the room was clean it was a single room with a double bed in, if one us got up in the night the person near the wall had to climb over the other, the room was so small there was no room for a chair to watch tv we had to lay on the bed got a stiff neck, also very noisy from road traffic, bad nights sleep.
clean, good staff, good breakfast
Room was very small. Too much noise outside.
Very convenient location: all main buses are available and it's very easy to go to the centre and to main sight-seeings. There are plenty cafes around the hotel, especially Greek restaurant with nice waiters and ale bar. We liked friendly staff in the hotel, free maps for tourists, clean towels and new set of sugar, cookies, tea and coffee every day. There was also an electric kettle. Good place to take a shower and have a sleep after a long and rich day.
Walls in the hotel are very thin and we could hear every movement behind the door but fortunately there wasn't much noise and the windows were on a courtyard. There was no lift in the hotel but we lived at the 1st floor and didn't suffer much. The Southwark district is a place where many Afro-American or African people live. They were very polite though, but we were a bit scared to go for a walk in late evening.
Showers were far too hot
