Staff, cleanliness, price, location for Brixton Academy
Nothing . Price was excellent and was exactly what our group needed and was expecting.
I like everything nothing left
there's nothing i don't like
Cheap, clean and lots of food and pub options in the area.
You have to hand your key in to reception whenever you leave the hotel which is a little odd and uncomfortable. It is stated that this is for 'security' but when you return all you have to do is tell them your room number and they give you the key, no checking I.D or anything (and this was a receptionist whom had not seen me before)
The hotel was clean and comfortable. The staff were all friendly and happy to help with any enquiry.
although the room was clean it was a single room with a double bed in, if one us got up in the night the person near the wall had to climb over the other, the room was so small there was no room for a chair to watch tv we had to lay on the bed got a stiff neck, also very noisy from road traffic, bad nights sleep.
clean, good staff, good breakfast
Room was very small. Too much noise outside.
Very convenient location: all main buses are available and it's very easy to go to the centre and to main sight-seeings. There are plenty cafes around the hotel, especially Greek restaurant with nice waiters and ale bar. We liked friendly staff in the hotel, free maps for tourists, clean towels and new set of sugar, cookies, tea and coffee every day. There was also an electric kettle. Good place to take a shower and have a sleep after a long and rich day.
Walls in the hotel are very thin and we could hear every movement behind the door but fortunately there wasn't much noise and the windows were on a courtyard. There was no lift in the hotel but we lived at the 1st floor and didn't suffer much. The Southwark district is a place where many Afro-American or African people live. They were very polite though, but we were a bit scared to go for a walk in late evening.
Showers were far too hot
- location - friendly staff - clean rooms - comfortable beds
I missed - free WiFi - shampoo - hair-drier - included breakfast
Nice, clean, well spaced rooms
Clean and close to a bus stop
Stairs to rooms and some rude staff
Excellent value for money, room clean and staff were very friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay again.
We overslept for breakfast, but hey, that's not the Hotel's fault! :)
No shampoo in the bathroom. only small round soap...good to your hair... Many Levanese and african restaurants nearby which is good or not....
Very noisy outside car and ambulance traffic so loud. No reliable baggage keeping just put my luggage on the backside room where anyone can enter. On the wall, all risks are clients! So we have to bring up the heavy bag upto 4th floor and could not keep it during the sightseeing.
Room was clean
It was booked as a double room but the bed was right against the wall and was not a full sized double, room had not been aire and had a musty smell. there were no drawers to put our clothes away so the stayed in ours bags for the weekend. Bathroom would have been better if a shower cubicle was installed, instead it was a tiny bath 9approx 1 meter long) with a mixer shower. There was not socket near the kettle had to plug it in using a socket at the end of the bed, not idea.
We find the Dome very central for our stay.
it was clean and the staff were very good
the pillows very uncomfortable and thin but everything else was excellent
helpfulness of staff
not enough tea and coffee in room had to ask for more
My mum and I were visiting my brother who lives in Camberwell. This accommodation was the perfect location for us and reasonably priced. the rooms were clean and comfortable and staff were friendly with reception manned 24hrs. have recommended to my dad already for when he visits.
no smoking room less noisy
small room big rent no lift no free wifi - 2 pound for 1 hour and cannot logoff account once you login the account. so at stretch usage. no mineral water
Located in a multi cultural and thriving suburb of London Lots of diverse restaurants and café literally metres away from the hotel Spacious clean room with a great shower Cooked veggie breakfast at £2.50 was excellent value Friendly helpful staff
It is perhaps located too far out from the hub of London (you do see more on a bus than in the tube) Traffic can be quite loud particularly when it is fast moving from 5.30-7.30 am! The beds are not that comfortable
The only thing that I could suggest was they need to wash the shower curtains otherwise a very handy place to stay.
