My mum and I were visiting my brother who lives in Camberwell. This accommodation was the perfect location for us and reasonably priced. the rooms were clean and comfortable and staff were friendly with reception manned 24hrs. have recommended to my dad already for when he visits.
The only thing that I could suggest was they need to wash the shower curtains otherwise a very handy place to stay.
Freindliness, courtesy, service
location to the oval was good but because it was. Along a street Very noisy and got no sleep. Room was very small you could not move. Beds not comfortable. You had to pay to use. The TV.
Good location for surrounding facilities, local bus and overground train links, local restaurants are fantastic, near bank, chemist, dry cleaners etc.
No lifts, too many stairs for unsteady people, not the quietest location windows really thin
Nothing at all
I didn't like that the photo of the room I booked made it look like a decent size room with double beds. In reality it was a very small room no air conditioning & a unit on the roof next to the open window making a dreadful noise. Asked to change rooms & was given a key by an indifferent man at the front desk whose only interest was watching the TV in the foyer. The room matched the one we were given & was right above it. A charge for the TV remote & an inability to phone out from the room! Dreadful place & i would like my money refunded as we left within an hour of checking in!
-flexible check in time -ok location in Camberwell, though next to the busiest street
-staff members were rude -the room was tiny, stinky and too hot -shower broken -bad value for the money: we paid 100 pounds for the night and we couldn't sleep well due to the loud noises from the street and dirtiness of the room
Good value for money and situated where we needed it. Fabulous breakfast for only £3.
Nothing we didn't like.
Close to bus station
Very Small Bed for 2 person, noisy hotel, you don't feel safety because the door doesn't close well, poor clean, avoid this hotel
Friendly and good service, nice and clean
Location of the hotel is good!
Considerinh the price of s room, The new dome hotel was very basic, and very dated. 1. The hotel had no lifts in the facility. Inconvénient if have a travel bag/suitcase. 2. The hotel room decor was dated, and lacked freshness. The shower curtain was dirty, and had specks of mould. There was no sink in the bathroom, instead a sink was in the bedroom area. The bed was uncomfortable, the mattress was very hard & bed was very low. 3. Had a key to access room (dated) and had to hand in key to reception whenever we left our room, as was told there is 24hr staff at reception who will open door of hotel and give us our key. However, upon arrival following a night out we rang bell of hotel and waited 10mins until a staff member answered hotel front door. Was not impressed.
It was not like the pictures on this site that's for sure. They wanted the room key returned every time you left the hotel. The area in which this hotel is situated is not the best of locations. Unfortunatly for my visit, I got to my room and then called and rebooked a Travelodge in Covent Garden. This hotel was not for me.
Clean and very good value for money. This is the second time we have stayed here.
Clean friendly Breakfast exceptional
Peckham can seem a little daunting at night as it gets quite quiet on certain streets but it is a great place to stay, vibrant and multi-cultural during the day with lots of 'real' London and plenty places around that are great for food and music nights with an impromtu feel- difficult to find in London these days. A great base to explore the rest of city as it is not too far from the centre, close to some nice parks and far better in my opinion than staying further out in a boring area. The hotel was good for the money, no frills but clean and staff were polite and accommodating. A good stay, would recommend.
Ventilation system outside our room was a little loud but not too much of a problem..
Friendly staff and clean rooms
Noise from street
The wall was disgusting and yes I mean the wall. The bed was so close to the wall and very cold and hard. The door stuck in the carpet and was a task to close. Every morning and night the room stank of weed. They keep your room keys every time you leave. And with no tv control and not enough plugs in the room I was very unsettled. It was stressful cause why would I trust someone to access to all my possessions. And the no visitors rule was stupid as my partner wasn't allowed to come check on me he was not happy.
Location. Wherever you want to go Central London you get bus here. 24 Hrs. Lot of eating options near by. At this price in Central London really a good deal
Beds are OK. Small rooms. No free WiFi
great budget price and friendly staff, fine place to stay for a budget trip.
room was right over extremely noisy street and walls were like paper. so didnt have the greatest rest!
The price was the only good thing about this hotel.
This place was of poor standard, I didn't expect much as the room was only £65 for 1 night but I didn't expect problems like the TV not working and some of the lights didn't work also the shower was poor as the water pressure was low. I could look over these problems but then I discovered mouse traps under the 2 beds and when I asked why these were there the explanation I got was that it was a necessary requirement from the council due to building work in the area. Although no mice were seen, thank goodness! It was a bit disconcerting to know there was a chance of them making an unwelcome appearance. Overall the hotel was tired and could do with a refurb. Would not recommend.
Nice budget hotel. Nice staff. Buses nearby to go to different parts of London. We had 2 rooms, the 3 bed room was great, the 2 bed room was a little small but ok. Breakfast was ok.
The water boiler wasn't clean.
Clean budget hotel, very good value for money
Traffic and noise from street.. You leave your keys at reception when going out at night?
I was given a quiet and clean room.
The facilities was poor. The Tv had no remote, no fridge and the room was small for double as described online.
The staff very friendly and room very clean. Very convenient for hospital where husband had an appointment.
Rooms rather small but adequate for an over night stay
friendly bar staff
a little expensive
