the staff at the new sunset hotel were polite and helpful. The hotels atmosphere was welcoming. The rooms are too small, bathrooms are cramped and facilities didnt work properly/. The general decor of the room was dull and bland. One of the bed legs had been broken and the bed was lower on one side. The room window wasnt fitted properly, when "closed" it was half shut and half open at one side. The bed matress was old and had no support, you could feel the springs digging into you.There was an old smoke detector that had been partly removed and stuffed with tissue, and a new detector fitted beside it. |

nothing it was very damp, plaster coming of the walls cuboard doors falling off it was very dirty we didnt even have the breakfast yes we hated everything, parking price |

The staff were great, the hotel was basic but very centrally located. We thought it was very good value for money, the breakfasts were great, small suggestion, provide cereals at breakfast. |

The room was adequate size and clean. For a bargain budget room, we really couldnt fault it. Friendly staff, decent breakfast. close to the town centre and seafront parking at rear was £7.00 per night, i later saw a 24hr manned carpark not far away for 4.00 per night. it's by the wilkinson! There was no one around for checkout, we waited half hour and ended up leaving the keys on the counter and going |

Very convenient for dance competition at winter gardens. Quick walk to venue, comfy bed, decent shower and good breakfast! Very basic but ideal base for activity |

the hotel was basic but no more than you would expect for the low cost the rooms were clean although in need of modernisation the staff were friendly and the breakfast was good the hotel is ideal for a cheap weekend break the only concern we had was the heating the room was far too hot but the heating could not be turned down |

There was nothing to like The hotel was run down.Did not provide the facilities it advertised. The food was poor. No heating. |

Food was very nice and staff very polite and helpfull. Was not very happy about having to pay extra for parking at the rear of the hotel. The bathroom was a little on the small side. |

The only good thing to say about this hotel is it`s location. It is located close to the beach and nightlife. The rooms are ridiculously small, not very clean and didn`t even have a shower. It did have a bath but no drain plug. |

As soon as we came in this hotel, we were very satisfied. No bad surprise. The hotel is cheap, clean, and the reception is very welcome. Sorry fo my english, I'm french !!! We will remember very good holidays in blackpool !!! |

Good breakfast, spacious room, good location - close to the beach and winter gardens, friendly staff. Shower did not work - only ran scalding hot. Our room was below the dinning room, so every morning we were woken up early (around 8:30am) by loud music and the sound of people walking around upstairs. Also our twin room had only one plug socket. |

We got moved the night before apparently due to an electrical problem! I dont believe them as we had some other friends staying there and there rooms were messed up to! Where they moved us to was horrible and dirty I would not of let my dog stay there, but on the plus side the sheets and towels were clean. |

Although this is clearly budget accomodation, the rooms were clean, the breakfast was well cooked and the staff were very freindly. I would book this hotel again. |
