lighting in room not enough especially for elderly, only bedside lighting working in main room had use the lighting from the bathroom on various occassions. Room starting to get tired.

The B&B rate was very reasonable and the breakfast was good.

At the weekend the hotel is set up for party nights, so don't stay there if you want a good night's sleep. The room decoration is tatty and the shower didn't work. The hotel offers cheap accomodation, but bar prices are high.

i lost my ticket for the hotel's courtest bus back at 2.30am and did not therefore have the phone number to call it along. confirmation might usefulyy also include that phone number. i got a taxi instead

I can honestly say that the staff at the hotel were polite and very helpful. The room was excellent and very comfortable. The event we attended in the evening was made all the more pleasant through the excellent attitude of the staff.

We stayed at the Normandy Hotel because of the location near Glasgow airport We booked a double and a twin room and were disappointed to be given two doubles - apparently, according to recepton staff, when you book with Booking.com they only 'request' your choice of room - no guarantee as payment is not made until you are actually at the hotel even though credit card details are taken when booking online - the hotel was full during our stay so we couldn't be given a twin room when we spoke to reception staff - having said that, on a previous visit when we requested a change of room, staff were very helpful and arranged another room for us straight away The room we were in was tired looking and could use some care The other room was a 'signature room' and more modern (both were the same price) The hotel is spotlessly clean and the staff couldn't be more helpful The food is very good and we will stay there again

The only complaint is that we didn't get the room we requested The rooms are on the small side and some required modernisation

I was attending a two day meeting in Spain, so as I had an early flight from Glasgow Airport, I required a Hotel with its own secure car park. I have stayed at the Normandy Htl. before and they have always given my wife and I an excellent profesional service. The meals and bar service are also very good, they even catered for my tastes (I do not like vegetables on or with my meal). The mini bus service to and from the Airport was on time leaving the Hotel and it was only a short wait when I returned. My car was looked after and was ready outside the Hotel when I returned. Please thank all the staff, they are a credit to the hotel and to Scotland.

There was nothing I did not like about the Hotel or the Staff, unless someone there has any influence with whoever controls the weather!!! Spain was much warmer and drier.

We found it very convenient for an o/n stay and parking our car for 2 weeks when flying from and back to Glasgow for our holiday in Madeira.

We like it for park and fly. Very reasonable rates. Staff are friendly. Food is good and very reasonably priced. Stayed again when we came back from holiday before 6 hour drive up the road next day. Have seen reviews about rooms being small but what do they expect. Think it's set up for short stays. We are very impressed and will always use it when flying from Glasgow (and returning) maybe try and fit in one of their tribute nights next time :-)

Hotel provides excellent deal including room + secure car parking + free return airport shuttle. Staff courteous and efficient. Will certainly use again.

The bedrooms (as usual) are too warm. Windows open in January!
