Comprised of Georgian town houses dating back to 1799, this charming, individual hotel in Ramsgate's historic garden crescent has amazing harbour and sea views. Two of the houses are adjoining.

The location and the restaurant. The bar staff were very pleasant and I did not feel uncomfortable as a lone female.
The bed was quite uncomfortable and the pillows were very hard. Biscuits provided were gingernuts which I do not like.
Lovely Staff, good location, great bar. Have stayed here on numerous occasions and cannot fault the hotel just the nightclub next door!
noise from next door nightclub!
Nearly everything was lovely
The room was very cold and there were arguments directly outside the window
Location is close to lovely harbour & town centre.
Very noisy room even though it was supposed to be a quiter one. It would help if they put in double glazing windows.
Only the location
Tiny twin room Narrow staircases No Bath ! Breakfast is Extra!
Tv signal rubbish
The view and proximity to the sea
Bit noisy from club next door on Saturday night
It was lovely to be overlooking the harbour, even through blue netting...presumably not there now! We sat outside for breakfast with the view. I'd asked for a room with a bath in the bathroom and wasn't given one but the staff were very helpful, with one young woman coming up to the 3rd floor to tell us that she'd arranged for us to move next door on the second day.
The first night was fine, but we couldn't get to sleep on the second because of the noise from the club a couple of doors along. Our room was on the 3rd floor and there' s no lift.
Very friendly hotel
Room was very dark as it faced wall but still enjoyed our stay
The staff was friendly
Not being able to sleep because of the noise
Cleanliness and good position in Ramsgate
Hard pillows and noisy unit outside window
the bar was a good meeting place as we were meeting old friends we had not seen for a good few years a nice place to catch up.
creaky floor boards in the corridors, slamming doors and other guests talking out side the rooms till 4 am, £7.50 for breakfast but if you were Joe blogs off the street full English was around £6.00 nowhere to sit in the room apart from the bed. strong smell of cleaning products in the on suite. view of the harbour hindered by scaffolding.
Good location, and price, older style hotel with character, Very clean comfortable beds, Our room was on the 3rd floor at the rear and was very quiet - Great Shower and Huge TV
I'd imagine the rooms do get hot in summer, but there are fans and with the window open we were fine for our stay in Mid Sept.
A comfortable room clean, with good facilities, overlooking harbour with a great view. Restaurant food was great tasting lovely atmosphere, good menu choice. Reception staff very helpful. A good central location.
Next door to rowdy bar/club. Music vibrating in room until 3 am! Lots of noise outside on street until 4am. Poor parking but staff will issue a permit to go in multi storey quite local. If returned would request a room in back of hotel for a good night sleep.
it was impossible to sleep because of the noise, near the hotel, there is a very noisy bar (music and drunk people..)
What is the purpose of an hotel ?...sleeping . Let me know how a bar can manage to get a licence until 3 am...& right next to it an hotel with single glaze ... I'm going to complain to the council to allow this kind of application ... Also hotel hosting party til midnight and nothing is soundproof ! Couldn't sleep because of the noise and pay a lot for listening to it ! Which wasn t my plan . Bed was horrible small & too soft . Bathroom was nice but with hair in the sink ! Bookings.com please don t allow this type of hotel on your site. Hotel must follow rules & regulations ... Otherwise don't market them .
The rooms, the cleanliness & most of the staff.
We did NOT like the double beds in all rooms as we prefer King Size and there are far too many stairs in the hotel. Also rooms are far to hot, the weather was chilly but we had to have the windows open all night and a fan on.
Staff were very friendly and gave clear information upon arrival. We had a few problems with our overnight stay, and when we made the complaint they were very helpful.
Our room 204 was above the party hall, and the music was so loud till midnight that we couldn't stay in our room until past then and we didnt want to stay out until that late but had no choice, the cups were shaking! We had no view, and an extractor fan right outside the window, which came on at 6am and woke us up as we had to have window open as the room was like a sauna! I couldn't even get ready in the room comfortably as it was so hot! Would stay again but in a better situated room.
I loved the location and the room was clean and the staff was friendly and helpful.
My friend who was travelling with me had a room that had noisy air conditioners outside. It was okay if he kept his window shut, but he couldn't get fresh air.
Ramsgate harbour. Evening bars and restaurants.
Really loud noise until after 3 am by punters at the bar next door. Spoilt the pleasant harbour evening.
Location Attitude of the staff Quality of the food and service.
Room 205. A step just beyond the bedroom door hidden within the carpet design but mentioned on a small, somewhat mean sign on the sidewall. Consequence of this, my wife has a badly sprained ankle heavily strapped by our doctor.
Rooms lovely and clean, with everything you could want in there. Great location . Very friendly staff
Rooms too hot
Lovelylocation withnice staff
The lack of parking was a shame and my daughters room at the sideof the hotel was quite noisy.
