The staff were friendly and well presented. Decor a bit run down in the restaurant. Flowers on the table were on their last legs and should have been changed days before. I think that the hotel part and the restaurant could do with a revamp decorating wise.

Nice room, linen, pub. Breakfast was a winner. Water pressure is poor, but a small price to pay for an otherwise clean and comfortable room.

The Coach House was very quaint, and we enjoyed the accomodation, The food is simply Excellent so do try the fillet steak and a night in after long walks down the beach, fully recomend the Coach house to anyone looking for a short break at the coast, it's really well situated to explore the villages and beaches on that stretch of coast line. The shower in Room 9 was loose on it's fittings so diddn't stay upright when in use, just needs a new shower head holder but should of been checked, thankfully a shoelace came in handy to secure it for the duration of our stay.

The Old Coach House was lovely. Very quaint and well maintained. The room was very clean, quite spacious and comfortable. The staff were friendly and accommodating. The food was delicious and so was the food at The Lifeboat Inn. The location was perfect for day trips along the coastal paths. Highly recommend!!

We liked the price, and the location, that's all. The room was a separate annex, fronting on to the footpath and the busy main road. The room was large, as was the bathroom. The bed was two singles pushed together, which is fine, but none of the bedding was big enough. The duvet just covered the top of the bed, the duvet cover had seen much better days and the seams were coming apart. The carpet was worn, wrinkled and heavily stained. The bathroom had a bath and no shower and there was insufficient hot water even for one bath. The toilet was horribly stained in the bottom, and, looking at the toilet brush container, which was filthy even on the outside, I didn't even go near it. The breakfast room was grubby and well worn.

It was handy to the North Norfolk coastline with all it's beautiful sandy beaches. On first look it was good to have food, refreshments and lodgings all under one convenient roof. The room was damp and musty. You could smell it as soon as you entered the room. There were huge stains on the carpet. When we looked behind furniture (beds and bedside cabinet) there was a horrendous amount of dust and grime.......the cleaners should be sacked!

The Old Coach House is a very good balance between comfort, good food and value for money. The post code takes you to the sister hotel in Ship Lane. The OCH is actually on the main road.

Proximity to the coast. Staff were friendly and helpful. Good breakfast. Nice meals. Room cold on arrival. We complained that the radiator in our room was not working. This was noted but no action apparent. Complained on the second day - still no action seemed to be taken. No explanation offered. TV in our room unsatisfactory - picture breakup on all channels. Disappointing. This was a reduced price deal - wouldn't have wanted to pay full.

Relaxing atmosphere in a beautiful old inn in centre of village near coast with two other drinking/eating places within walking distance. A good choice at breakfast. Menu bit limited for mid-day & evening mostly pizza and pies but very good quality.

Location close to Coastal Path, beach and in lovely Thornham village We changed room as the shower in Room 2 doesnt really work properly due to low water pressure. Staff were very obliging and we were given a room with a bath the second night.

It was ok. Quite quirky but.... Real issue is the shower did not work other than nearly cold. A disgrace really. Needs sorting. Also my fish and poached egg over cooked. Overall a fairly average experience.

If I was asked about basic facilities I wanted in a room, I would say somewhere to hang the Loo roll counted quite high on my list!!!!

Room was very small and cramped even for single . Shower was under eaves and very little headroom . Would be impossible for anyone over 5 ft 8ins,also very weak flow. No chair in room so only bed to sit on. Food disappointing for price.

The food was excellent When I asked for my bill I did bring to the attention of a member of staff that I had been charged for things that I did not have I.e 2 Times newspapers and also bar items that I should not have been charged for. All in all I was overcharged about £11 and she did not correct the bill,so I ended up paying for the items rather than create a fuss.
