It was nicely situated in very pleasant countryside surrroundings, and very quiet. Although on a bus route into Bath, there was only one bus every two hours, so a car was really advisable, and there was plenty of parking space at the hotel. The food was adequate, some less than adequate (first course for me inedible) and the menu was very lacking in imagination and expensive for what it was. The first bottle of wine we bought (approx £15) was off, and the only alternative was over £17 - quite expensive for what it was. We subsequently found a pub with excellent food at a much lower price. |

Breakfast was between 07.15am and 9.00am - 9.00am is far too early, 10.00 would have been far more civilised especially for a non business traveller. |

The hotel was pleasantly old and unlike the sort of environment you get at bigger hotel chains. My room was clean and well equipped. The food was very good but reasonably priced. |

Clean, warm, cosy room full of charm, food in restaurant Not a serious issue, but there wasn't enough hot water to fill up the bath. It takes "a while" for the water to warm up again. |

Absolutely fantastic Hotel, location and Rooms , Brilliant decor and really romantic. The Meals were A+ and the service was outstanding, can't wait to stay again someday. I cannot recommend the hotel highly enough. well done all who work there. |

The hotel was excellent for the price. I felt that the photos on the website and the comments from other customers did not give an accurate picture. We would certainly stay at the Old Manor Hotel again if in the area and reccommend it without hesitation. I would change the way the hotel is portayed on the site though, we were pleasantly surprised. |
