Old Manor Hotel  

Lage und Ambiente in einem 400 Jahre alten Herrenhaus haben es uns besonders angetan.

Im Restaurant sollte man bei der Wahl auf traditionelle, herkömmliche englische Gerichte zurückgreifen, also Steaks, Gegrilltes etc.

Sehr romantisches umgebautes Hotel mit liebevoll individuell eingerichteten Zimmern. Sehr nettes Hotelpersonal

Leider waren keine größeren Zimmer mehr für uns vorhanden. Unsere gebuchten Zi. waren nur 13 m² gross, sodass schon Schwierigkeiten be- standen, die Koffer unterzubringen. Im Bad war leider weder Duschvorhang noch Badewannentrennwand vorhanden. Es war trotzdem kein Problem zu duschen, da der Wasserdruck enorm niedrig war (evtl. verkalkt?), wenn man die gewünschte Wasserwärme überhaupt zu mischen in der Lage war.

Zentrale Lage, wunderschöne altenglische Einrichtung, Frühstücksbüfett sehr gut, freundliches Personal, komfortabeles Zimmer (Zi.3)

Zimmer hellhörig, in jeder Ecke Spinnweben (Zi.3), Toilettenspülung eher schlecht

Welcome Comfort Food.

We really liked the quaint oldish feel of the place - takes you back in time. Staff were excellent, food very good and room was comfortable and well maintained. We loved bradford on avon so ideal location and easy train ride to bath.

No complaints at all although the room was smaller than we are used to.

The receptionist was very friendly, welcoming and efficient, the room was very attractively laid out, with plenty of storage space and good heating, and the bed was wonderfully comfortable. There was no noise whatsoever, and in the morning we enjoyed the sunrise over the adjacent field. The ensuite bathroom had everything we needed, too. The dining room was comfortable and we had a delicious breakfast.

The only thing that was less than perfect was that the toilet had a very weak flush, but it didn't spoil our stay at all; everything else more than made up for it.

Very relaxed atmosphere. Everyone very welcoming and friendly. Top marks for the chef as the food was delicious.

Rustic room and dining room

Internet didn't work consistently. Radiator in room didn't work.

The location was Ideal, the staff were all polite, good food plenty of it, and it was always served nice and hot. this was our second visit to this hotel and it will not be our last. My wife is a vegitarian and was well looked after with her food, nothing was too much trouble in fact the owner made sure there was something special for her to eat on the Saturday night which my wife thougherly enjoyed. The room was lovely,bed nice and comfortable.

Rooms were good size, comfortable and very well kitted out. Breakfast was very good.

I would prefer to have soem contact with the Old Manor House either by walking though it to the reception area, eating in it or staying in it but none of these we happened so it was a bit of a let down given it is called the Old Manor House. Evening meals wer a bit bland
