On the banks of the Avon River, Old Mill Hotel & Lodge has lovely gardens and stunning views of the countryside surrounding Bath. It is on a site that housed a flour mill until 1907.

Very friendly staff - nice experience
Evening meal and breakfast were both excellent
Car parking was a bit awkward at first but eventually OK
Very friendly staff and landlady.2 min walk to train station.then 10 min train ride into the city center.free parking at hotel.so easy to get into bath for Xmas market without the hassle of parking in town. Breakfast was basic cooked breakie or a few other options.very nice though. The room was very clean and tidy.usuall facilitys. Bar area was lovely.very warm and cosy.with roaring fires Great value for money.will stay again.for Xmas market.
lovey place lovey staff lovey food close to train station
Warm cosy feeling of the hotel and nicely decorated for Christmas.
Wasn't informed there was going to be a christmas party at the hotel and the bar area was packed with music playing until midnight and the restaurant was fully booked. It wasn't a huge issue as we went out and found a nice pub close by but would have preferred to have stayed and had dinner and drinks at the hotel.
Interesting historic building. Friendly staff, pleasant atmosphere in bar & restaurant. Good food with the breakfast being relaxing and delicious. Our room was a little small but the bed was comfy and there were lots of extra touches.
Parking tight. Might be a little hot in summer as the windows are secondary glazed.
Great hotel, friendly staff. Very clean room, hotel full of character. The food was brilliant and good value for money. The location was superb, we would definitely stay again.
Hotel parking is an issue, we had to park in the Tesco car park behind the hotel.
The lovely open fire and cosy chairs. The staff were freindly and welcoming and the breakfast very nice. My college and I arrived late so we didn't get the experience of the restaurant which looked lovely. I would defiantly stay again if I was in the area.
The mattress felt old and lumpy. The kettle wasn't very clean and the walls thin, I had somebody in the room below snoring loudly and was kept awake all night.
Food was good
Very uncomfortable bed. Tired decor and unpleasant general odour to the place.
Good Central Location with easy access to most local attractions
Hotel was very dated inside, even allowing its age
Great location, friendly staff, good breakfast and convenient access to town, station and Bath/Bristol by car, train or bus. Good shopping in Keynsham and relaxing coffee shops, and not too crowded!
Bed a little soft and wi-fi a little hit and miss
friendly helpful staff
breakfast menu had fruit on it but none on the serving area, portion control on breakfast meant 1 sausage 1 rasher of bacon 1 mushroom etc
good rooms, lovely old building, friendly staff, great breakfast.
room was very cold.
Pretty building, pretty room, comfy bed, good selection at breakfast. Definite value for money.
Car park was a bit of a squeeze Noisy plumbing in the rooms at the front of the hotel
All of it staff and owner very friendly
Close to airport and near Bath where I was bringing my son to uni.Staff v helpful and friendly.parking closeby.V good value and lovely quaint surroundings
Bit further from Bath than I expected but half an hour drive not bad
Friendly staff. A warm welcome. A super comfortable bed. Whole place full of character. Room 7 has a smashing wet-room shower. Food in the restaurant was good. Breakfast menu has a good choice of dishes.
This is a lovely Hotel that is only two stops on the train from the centre of Bath and only £4.10p return. The food both breakfast and dinner is of the highest quality. The room was spotlessly clean, nicely furnished with free wifi. The staff were very friendly and we would definitely stay here again.
There are times when the bar is unmanned and I had to go looking for someone to serve me. There is limited parking for the number of guests.
Convenient for avon valley railway
Staff at our table for evening meal didn't appear comfortable waiting on us - they may have only just started.
The character of the hotel it's self; the outside rooms were compact and clean. It had a homely feel and was quiet.
The room lacked the character of the main hotel and had no heating controls. In autumn the room was freezing and the heating only kicked in at night (around 10pm). The bar closed at 11pm and there wasn't many places to eat/drink nearby.
Rattling noise when water in the cistern was filling up. Poor value for money.
Bar area Proximity to wedding we were attending
Noisy electric loo Bed on a sloping floor Staff not v professional Over priced
Excellent staff, very helpful, great food.
We knew it was an older place, but the room did need some TLC...
Friendly and efficient welcome, no fuss to book in. Helpful in serving breakfast promptly and providing speedy checkout.
No shower only a bath Lack of car park, but after 8pm free in adjacent Tesco
