Tastefully thought out individual boutique bedrooms. A breakfast an army could march on!
Lovely comfortable, beautiful clean room. Plenty of products to choose on the tea & coffee making tray as well as items in the bathroom cabinet. Even a bar of chocolate to send us on our way at the end of our stay! Breakfast was beautifully presented & with a great choice.
Not a criticism, just an observation - the fully English breakfast was hugh! Any guest would struggle to finish such a lovely meal.
The bedding and towels were so lovely,so fresh. The proprietor was very pleasant and helpful, and what a chef !! Excellent value for money. Will definitely stop here again.
Absolutely nothing !
Breakfast, it's huge and freshly cooked. I would suggest they make it more of a feature, perhaps having two options, one being normal, two rashers of bacon, one egg etc, and the other being the big breakfast.
The very personal service
We felt that the bedroom décor was very nice but verging on the fussy: probably appeals especially to Americans with a 'twee' view of England!
So de lightly quiet and peaceful
Very friendly staff, you couldn't want for more. Breakfast was excellent and well presented. Absolutely perfect place!!!
Room was stunning Bathroom luxurious Bed extremely comfortable Breakfast amazing Little extras in room that made it special like a bar of chocolate, toiletries, bottles of water etc
Although the jacuzzi bath was fantastic and very enjoyable showering the next morning proved more difficult as the shower is attached to the bath taps so you have to sit in the bath to shower but a small price to pay for an amazingly unforgettable stay.
After a long day visiting museums and site seeing, it was a pleasure to return to a warm and friendly hotel where nothing was to much trouble for the staff, much appreciated.
Having to go home.
location, decor, breakfast.
Lovely room and ideal location.
Breakfasts were good but we prefer a buffet breakfast and it was a shame the hotel didn't have a bar apart from that it was great.
We loved the ambience, the décor and attention to detail. Our host, David, went out of his way to engage and make us welcome. The breakfast was amazing and the location was fantastic.
we were given a warm welcome, shown to room with explanation of facilities and taxi organised quickly when needed. Good breakfast well presented, good service and friendliness all round. Most enjoyable.Wish we could have stayed longer.
Reception phone ringing outside our room in the night. Shower went very hot and very cold, not good. Room very cluttered. Rushed at breakfast. Gardens full of weeds.
the food was fabulous and the staff were very friendly.
This B and B was clean and comfortable, ideally located and the staff could not be more friendly and helpful. We were celebrating our wedding anniversary whilst there and we were given wine and chocolates which we thought was a very nice gesture. Would certainly return.
Nothing to dislike.
Fabulous cooked breakfast Luxurious furnishings Very friendly staff Safe on site parking
It was possibly the best breakfast I have had on holiday.
TV reception was a bit iffy, luckily we usually listen to the radio so with the broadband this was no problem.
The room was amazing, the staff were lovely, the breakfast was top quality, little added extras were thoughtful, nice location beautiful place to stay, wonderful honeymoon
Garden area needed some work
Friendly and helpful staff. Nothing was too much trouble and they really helped celebrate my husband's big birthday in style. Just outside Ironbridge but easy to get there, including a very reasonably priced taxi service. We'd certainly return.
Bedroom was a good size. Pleasant surroundings. Quiet and peaceful. Breakfast was lovely!! Lots of parking. Close to all tourist spots.
Thorough attention to detail ! We lacked absolutely nothing !
The breakfast was second to none ! Everybody was caterered for with the amazing choice ! B and B trying to be a mini hotel ! P. s get your pond sorted it is a big selling point to have a nice garden !
We arrived and had to go searching for staff as the place seemed deserted ! It does need some small attention to detail ! Finger marks on doors and furniture could have been cleaned as there is so much detail in the surroundings but no attention to fine detail like clean doors , cupboards , furniture or extra towels .
We were made to feel very welcome by David who really did his best to make our stay a happy one. I also liked the fact that he had veggie sausages for breakfast (even though I didn't have them) as I can't eat much in the mornings, but it was nice to know that I wasn't left out as a vegetarian!
The staff were very welcoming and helpful without being over attentive. Great position for getting to the Ironbridge attractions.
Booking.com allowed us to express a preference for a four poster room. We did not get this as it was a bank holiday weekend and the hotel was full.
