Owners very friendly. Reasonably close to where we wanted to visit. Own entrance. Old building with character and quirky features Lovely little villages around

Thought the room was quite small and it was overwhelmed by the large bed - so made it look even smaller. Separate entrance, whilst nice, had a bit of a gap so lot of cold air coming in. Very close (more than I expected) to a major road.

Everything. We were made so welcome, had a lovely room and great breakfast. It is impossible to fault!

I left too early to get breakfast but then it was 6.30 on a Sunday morning. However I was given a breakfast tray the night before, so my fault entirely

Chris and Christine, the proprietors, were very helpful and friendly; the Stratford Suite was beautifully decorated and very romantic; the grounds were bucolic; the breakfast was excellent; the historic building interesting and charming.

A bit challenging to find; the bed was quite soft for my preference.

The location, in a lovely village only 10mins drive away from Stratford and Warwick. The owners Chris and Chris were very welcoming and friendly and nothing seemed too much trouble for them. The place was very clean and tidy, with lots of character. We would definitely stay there again.

We were met with a very warm welcome and felt almost at home. It was nice to be given so much information regarding things to do, places to visit and suggestions on where to eat and verbally not just from a handful of leaflets. The hotel is beautiful and full of character and serves the best cooked breakfast you could ever wish for!

Despite the name, the Old Rectory is a B&B but the rooms were good and the full breakfast ( at weekends only) was excellent. The proprietor was excellent and helpful with local attractions, taxis, restaurants, etc. Overall a pleasant stay.

No cooked breakfast in the week. Presents itself as luxury B&B but scrimps on the extras: e.g. one bottle of shower gel for two of us for three nights, no tissues. Is very near to a very busy main road, with constant background noise.

A warm welcome, a comfortable bed, a beautifully furnished room and and house with a feeling that our comfort was of the utmost importance. The whole ambience was of an historic charming country house set in the wonderful Warwickshire countryside. Although the house is quite close to some main roads the traffic noise is very low and does not disturb one. Very good road access to Stratford and Warwick and excellent local gastro pubs in nearby Barford. Would certainly come here again.

I like hotels in old buildings - this one was 17th century with exposed beams and lots of panelling and big old fireplaces - all good. The room was very big and the (four poster) bed was very comfortable, though perhaps not as robust as we had hoped. Good antique furniture, nicely furnished bathroom, big bow window into garden. All nice. The couple who ran the hotel were very friendly and helpful - recommended a good gastro-pub nearby for dinner and booked taxis for us. Breakfast was good with locally sourced proper bacon and sausage.

There are sadly some drawbacks to old buildings - every time the person in the room above ours got up to go to the loo the floorboards creaked loudly; in the morning when they took a shower some of it came through the ceiling of our room. Bit disconcerting.

Very nice and friendly hosts, taking care of their guests and supporting with travel tips. Great breakfast. Bathrooms are very new, everything clean.

Bed room a bit small. Need a car to go somewhere, but then close to the high way.

An excellent and welcoming atmosphere, Christine and Chris are first class hosts and were most accommodating in every sense.

Very charming accomadation, host very welcoming and told us places to park during the day at Warwick and Stratford and places to eat for the evening. Lovely breakfast. A very central place for Warwick and Stratford-upon-Avon.

The bedrooms, friendly hosts, very clean, good continental breakfast, two nearby foody pubs, the drinks cabinet.

The accommodation was good, clean and anything you asked for was no problem, the owner was very helpful giving us directions to various places, this meaning missing the traffic and also recommending places to park, eat and drink locally.

Owners very helpful with telephone queries before our stay. Lovely room with very comfortable bed. Room and ensuite very clean. Situated in a quiet location that is only a 5 minute drive from Warwick town and castle.
