We had a lovely time and felt really at home. The room was gorgeous and comfortable. Breakfast was lovely.
Everything very welcoming Quirky and great value lovely place will go back with wife
The fact I only got 1 sausage haha oj was lovely
We really enjoyed our stay here. The landlady was warm and welcoming. We loved the four poster bed and historical style to the rooms. The bed was comfortable, lots of quirky character to the room, lovely breakfast and a relaxing breakfast room. We would definitely stay here again. A great location for Warwick and Stratford too.
Our bathroom was a little small, but it was part of the charm of the house.
The minimal room size.
Pleasant old building
Traffic noise from nearby A46 (and we are used to living on a main road)
The room smelt musty and damp.(no7) and plenty of dust on the chest on drawers.and lampshade. The mattress needed replacing. The breakfast was cold as well as the dining room. The hostess did not even entroduce herself on arrival.
I didn't like or enjoy any part of my one night stay at the old rectory.
The accommodation was called the stable block, it was a flat roof extension , in need of a revamp ,the cooked breakfast was presented on a hot plate, but the food wasn't hot.
Nice property with plenty of character. Friendly welcome. Comfortable rooms.
Lovely breakfast. Nice period features.
Old creaky bed. Wakes you up even when turning over!
Nice room, comfortable. Done for what we wanted but has to exceptional for me to recommend anywhere.
It seemed like it was a part time operation and you were there to suit them, breakfast at 7.30 the 2nd day as there would be no one to do a later breakfast and no one about at check out. They were friendly.
Location was great for Warwick and Stratford. It was in a lovely quiet country lane and from the outside the house looked amazing. Also the pictures of the interior with it's shabby chic design and four poster beds made it look extremely attractive.
Feel really bad but room was dusty and had a musty smell, there were biscuit crumbs all over the carpet. Bathroom was cramped and the whole place needed an update. Very disappointed as it was not worth the money! Breakfast was cold and not appetising at all.
We liked the building, the room we had was very small but served its purpose of somewhere to sleep, it was actually an old stable I believe!
There was a lot of noises from other residents, could hear a woman coughing most of the night, with a dripping tap or shower didnt sleep that well in the stable block!
Pleasant homely atmosphere with a great cooked breakfast.
It was just a quick stop over arrived quite late left really early to go to silverstone to watch Moto GP, but would stay there again and visit local attractions
Pretty location and easy access to area.
No one at premises when we arrived had to wait . Room dark and needing an update bed very old and uncomfortable. No little touches all very basic . Breakfast could have been nice but was cold and the lady was trying to do everything on her own. Shame but not good enough for the money we paid.
Close to the motorway, but a pleasant and secluded feel. Best for those who like the charm of four-poster beds and classic furnishings.
The portion size f the cooked breakfast was a little on the small size (and I'm a small man so that's saying something) and a shaver two-pin power-point and some accessible sockets for charging phones etc would have been nice.
Friendly atmosphere and a relaxing environment.
Wasn't a hotel just b&b. bedroom had cobwebs hanging from ceiling. Breakfast ok but could have been hotter. W Owner could have had help serving all the tables at breakfast.
The owner was very pleasant and accommodating. The breakfast was good and cooked to order. There is free parking. Despite some disadvantages it is within easy reach of Stratford-on-Avon and Warwick and under certyain circumstances we would probably stay there again.
The room was small; it was described as a suite (it had a 2 seater settee) the TV was very small and it's position was such that it couldn't have been viewed from the settee. Fortunately there was nothing we actually wanted to watch while we were there. The Wi-Fi wasn't working whilst we were there. The location is very close to both the M40 and and A road which, whilst very convenient, is also very noisy.
We had a good room with a four poster bed. It was spacious, had everything we needed and was clean and comfortable. We only met the lady on reception who was very pleasant and helpful. We would definitely return.
I don't think I have ever stayed in a B&B or a hotel which has a 10am check out policy before. We found that rather stingy for a weekend stay. We missed the breakfast 08.30 - 09.30 and left at 10.30 which was fine. I agree with other comments that this is a B&B not a full hotel.
The lady of the manor is a lovely person and helpful
Excellent breakfast and friendly hosts.
Located in a pretty village, close to main road but not noisy. Owner and daughter were very pleasant and helpful and room was comfortable and breakfast was good.
Lovely building, furniture in keeping with property. Good breakfast.
Quite dusty and cobwebs. Bathroom lights over sink not working so difficult for shaving. Had to stand the kettle on floor to boil as no sockets level with furniture. Not a hotel. Would say over priced.
