Friendly staff, extremely comfortable, nice rooms, comfy beds, great views of cricket pitch :) A shame there is no restaurant. Breakfast was nice (except coffee machine was broken) but you can't beat a full English :)

Hotel staff was excellent and the view from the executive rooms (which was very fair in price) was superb. Staff helped us with directions to football club and the Trafford shopping centre.

It was good value for money The shower, even with the curtain closed, made the floor really wet outside the shower and the mat wasn't absorbent enough or big enough to take all the water. The bathroom floor becomes dangerously slippy easily.

It was fantastic I could not believe how good it was for the money I have stayed at many motels and lodges and this one was by far my favorite, the little I paid extra for a room overlooking the cricket pitch was great, and the continetal breakfast was of very good standard, would deffinately used again when in Manchester a lodge that ticks all the boxes, well done

It was my first stay at the Old Trafford Lodge and I was pleasantly surprised. I chose a room with a balcony view across the cricket ground which for a Lancastrian was great on a perfect morning. The room had everything you would expect, was not overheated like so many hotel rooms are, and the bed was really comfortable.

Convenient to where we wished to travel to in the city. Tram station and Old Trafford Football ground within easy walking distance. Good parking facilities. Very friendly and helpful staff. In all a very pleasant weekend. Loved the view onto the Old Trafford Cricket ground, wondered how much this would cost during a Test Match at the ground? Would definately stay again if visiting Manchester in the future. Thanks Clive I do like a cooked breakfast, but the continental most probably did me more good.

Easy access to metro informal breakfast arrangements above all friendly staff at reception desk and servicing the bedroom Ventilation of the bedroom was not too easy to arrange with just the large sliding door to open/close air conditioning might be too expensive the hot water was not as hot as we expected

Its location is great for the Footbal/Cricket ground and is within a 10 minute drive of the Trafford Centre. It only costs about £10 for a taxi in and out of the city in the evening and there are many restaurants nearby. It was very clean and lived upto very good standards of cleanliness, both in the room and especially the bathroom. For the money we paid it was a very simple place to stay. They are unable to offer full english breakfast and the continental breakfast was extremely basic. The safe although did their job to satisfactory standard, did not seem as friendly as they should have been. The towels were very small! It was extermely basic for the money paid and other reviews that wer had read didn't seem to live up to what they suggested.

Excellent value and convenience. Staff excellent and continental breakfast ideal. Parking facilities perfect.Bed okay but would prefer newer or better still to meet the high standards of Premier inns, which we considered, A king or queen bed would be best. Will certainlky stay again.

On arrival the room was very cold; radiator set to 15 degrees and it took a while to get warm. All of the coffee was decafinated. Next door there was a marquee which had a disco, or Christmas party taking place and the music went on until late. The music was so loud that I was unable to sleep. Then early hours of the morning someone was running up and down the corridor and moving furniture in the next room. It was the worst night's sleep that I have ever had in a hotel.

Clean and friendly and a balcony overlooking the pitch The only issue was no resturant for dinner.... Although there are plenty nearby and also a range of take-aways which the hotel works with to make sure you are fed

Easy access with secure parking. 10 minute walk to waterfront commercial area where the imperial war museum, media city & retail outlet can be located. Modern rooms which are clean and comfortable. Competitively priced rooms and complementary breakfast make this a good option for a short stay option. Windy weather can cause advertising boards which are attached to the balcony railings to rattle which is easily heard in the rooms facing over old trafford cricket ground. I stayed 2 nights the first night wasnt a problem however the same couldnt be said for the final night unfortunately.

“Clean, effecient and friendly staff, comfortable and was particularly impressed by the breakfast tray. It included everything I asked for and was brought by a very pleasant young man.
