The included continental breakfast had a good variety to choose from and delicious pastries. The reception staff were welcoming and friendly. They were also very helpful with arranging Taxis and assisting with any queries we had. The room was neat and tidy and had tea and coffee facilities. Overall a very nice hotel to stay in, it was perfect for our trip and to watch Manchester United play, as the stadium was only a 5 minute walk away. The free view TV remote was very frustrating to use, even when close up to the TV and pressing the buttons it still didn't want to work.

Friendly staff, excellent view of the cricket pitch from the rooms balcony. Good range of foods included in the continental breakfast. Very clean. Good location for sports and city. Rooms are smaller than I would like TVs need updating to widescreen as edges of pictures were missing when watching sport - it was impossible to see football scores in live games!

The balcony overlooking the cricket ground. I've already emailed the photo to a dozen cricketing friends who want to stay here! Also £49 - good value. Having to go to tesco to get some milk for the baby

Ultimate location for visitors to Manchester United and Lancashire Cricket Club. Good location for City as well, being only 10 minutes by Tram (station outside the Lodge). Friendly, helpful staff, great value for money and a unique location with views onto the cricket ground!

Staff were lovely , car parking facilities , Great value for money would definitely use this hotel again if just myself and partner traveling The sofa bed was a disgrace it was old and had little cushion on it would have been more comfortable sleeping on the bathroom floor , It's the only thing that let the stay at the hotel down , For the cost of a new sofa bed .
