Close to town centre and off road parking Room needs renovation as the shower hose leaked due to missing washers, one had to hold the shower head as the wall mounting was loose, carpet was getting dirty and frayed around the edges, old single pane dormer windows rattled in the wind. We chose the hotel as we had been there before and enjoyed it. Not so much this time. |

The staff were excellent no air conditioning, so window was open all night and because the room was above the entrance it was quite noisy |

Reception did get the hospitality tray replenished and the room hoovered. Double room was small. The base of the bed was longer than the mattress. The bathroom door would only open 2/3 as the bed was in the way. The room had not been hoovered (even though with the size of the room it would only have taken 2 minutes). The hospitality tray was very poor, there wasn't any cutlery to stir or make a drink, enough milk for 1 drink only and very basic. When asked at reception for the average price of a double room they were unable to advise, there was not tariff list and we were told to look on the internet. When attempting to access the wireless internet the connectivity was very poor resulting in not being able to access the internet. Overall not at all what we were expecting. |

Convenient location, friendly, helpful staff, pleasant bar area, good breakfasts! The first room we were put into had a bad drain problem and the smell was dreadful. However, we were moved into a different room for our next 2 nights although it wasn't as nice as the first room. |

Very clean, comfortable beds, lovely decor and not just in the communal areas and a decent breakfast offering. Beautiful outdoor areas made it stand out from other good hotels in the area. My only complaint would be coffee a little weak and no hot milk for it! This would have topped it off nicely. See coffee comment above! |

The breakfast options - particularly the traditional English breakfast - was fabulous and the restaurant decor is exquisite. Standard class rooms sizes were are small. The bathroom in my room has broken bath panel and shower glass and torn carpets. The mattress was very worn - I could feel the springs. It said the rooms had Sky tv but the Sky channels weren't available. |

I liked all the carvings everywhere, many hotels nail everything down. We stayed in room 116, I thought the bathroom needed updating, and didn't like carpet in the bathroom. We had a plasma in our room however for the size of the room it was too small. |

The room was large and comfortable, and the staff were very helpful and pleasant. Hotel is in a good location for both the beach and town. The website was very misleading and it was extremely disappointing to find that the cocktail menu was not available, and that the advertised sky package also did not work. Breakfast was very disappointing for a vegetarian. |

The hotel was very funky and trendy and very well located near to the city centre and right behind the beach front. Ideal location. Night staff were eager to please and very helpful. The housekeeping staff were very loud in the morning and didnt really pay any attention to guests as they were shouting up and down the corridor at 9am and the seagulls were immensely annoying. Not good when your nursing a hangover! Receptionist wasnt very helpful when trying to find local eateries. |

We were very impressed by the quality of the hotel, which we believe provided very good value for money. It was convieniently located to the town and the breakfast was lovely. One thing we would have liked was to order a light snack during the day. Unfortunately this was not possible |

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, the hotel was decorated modern and chic dining room in particular was very stylish. Felt like we had a bargain staying here as a cut above other hotels and b&bs in this price range. I have already recomended it to all my friends. The room was very warm but it was a hot night, could have done with a fan or air con. |
