I have marked your staff as excellent as they were very helpful. The heating in our room would not work (room 19) so we called reception and the lady came promptly to try and fix it, she couldn’t so she came back with a little fan as she thought the batteries in the remote may need changing, but this did not work either. I requested a room change as it was cold, reception were very prompt with finding us another room and in fact it was an upgraded room. I’m grateful for this as it was my partners’ birthday and I wanted a nice experience, dinner in the restaurant was lovely and the service there excellent, friendly and attentive.
The fact that we got to our room and found the heating broken, this should have been checked before lettiing the room. The restaurant menu was wrong in the folder, we were disappointed as we rather fancied what was advertised on the menu in our room.
Unable to dine in restaurant first evening despite staying in hotel. No room service or bar food as ' kitchen was busy' . Not possible to obtain any food in hotel that evening! No wifi in rooms , occasional wifi in bar .
Well-priced deal on Booking in a lovely setting close to Bath and 2 min drive to the park and ride. The hotel grounds were great and on the outside very appealing however the "lounge" area of the bar is made of of 2 well worn couches and several nearby table and chairs which didn't make for a great atmosphere. The bar prices were reasonable and the Masons restaurant was lovely. very good food and good affordable wine selection. Staff were friendly and helpful when it transpired we had a room without adequate heating.
Rooms are converted stable blocks and we arrived in sub-zero temp. to find a freezing room with only an air con/heating unit which was inadequate. we asked for a heated room and staff obliged. Breakfast was good although the set-up felt very makeshift and salmon and cheese presented on uncovered plates and unrefrigerated as was sliced fruit and yoghurts which were placed in a bowl of melting ice. cheap sliced bread. be aware rooms separate from the restaurant/breakfast area in main building so coats and brollies required to get there
Nice place to stay apart from aweful wifi
Wifi was non existent in the room, could only intermittently connect on a laptop & phone so was not usable. Put a router in each room it isn't really that hard to do.
Room good and comfortable. Quiet. Lovely grounds
Would have liked a pool etc. had to walk in the cold to breakfast. Expensive. Would have liked mixed berries and yogurt for breakfast
Value for money is amazing. I can't wait to go back. stunning surroundings and building. I really am overwhelmed by the whole weekend at Tracy park.
Location mid point between Bristol and Bath. The grounds and buildings are beautiful. Room was large, had a fridge, safe, flat screen TV and very comfortable bed. Breakfast was very acceptable with a good range of food types on offer. Room very warm on a frosty night.
Poor water delivery to bathroom had to wait over 5 mins for water to arrive. No hair dryer. Hairs in bath and bathroom floor on arrival. No wifi. Green light for emergency exit in room very bright all night long.
Attractive bedroom. Well heated. Everything in working order. Impressive dining room for breakfast. Quiet and restful location.
Bread and dip, £5.90 in Bar with ordered soup. Breakfast food on steam table needed to be warmer.
The setting is stunning
Beautiful setting, excellent rooms, great location, exceptionally clean!!!
Breakfast was a little disorganised!!!
Cleanliness an presentation of room, helpful staff, lovely bed an fantastic shower.
Taxi cost £18each way to bath christmas markets
Fortunate to be upgraded to a luxury room in ' carriages ' from a superior double which was in the chalet type rooms which may have been stables. All in all value for money, breakfast as you expect it should be, nice surroundings and easy access for Bath !
Hotel and grounds Had 2 rooms the double was a lovely size ,
Twin Room freezing on arrival .. Did eventually warm up once heating was put on Felt it was very small lots of shuffling around past each other as adults with low beams etc - room 17 also green emergency light above door both beds facing it Bathroom did smell of smoke in double room
Location and setting were lovely. Room was clean and tidy.
Room 14 has a green LED on the emergency light which glows like a traffic light when the room is dark which doesn't make for a relaxing nights sleep!
Friendly staff. Comfortable room.
Setting, views, comfort and privacy and pleasant staff.
Green light above inside of front door
Good food- particularly in the restaurant. Rooms are mainly in out buildings (or made to look like outbuildings). Character. Take a coat though if you want to go to bar or restaurant.
No WIFI in room. Maybe faulty but reported and still no reception. Dim bathroom- lights not all operating. Room cold on arrival but wall mounted air con sorted once it was on.
THe View, Service and room was fantastic, I will stay hear again
Carriages rooms are stunning.Spotless, faultless and luxurious. Assistant Manager kindly upgraded us after our original room was not cleaned to an acceptable standard.
Originally booked into a superior double. The carpet in the hallway was dirty with mud and grass and looked like it needed a good clean. On arrival into room carpet dirty and clearly stained.A real let down as the room itself is stunning. Also stains on the trim of the bed-yuck!!Tracy Park-please clean your carpets in the older rooms!
Our room was fantastic! We booked a luxury room but got a small house! It was set over 2 floors (bed/ sitting room was set on a mezzanine floor) the room was clean and the staff were very friendly!
Nothing really, would have liked more from breakfast. Previous hotels we have stayed in Cook breakfasts to order and although I couldn't fault the breakfast, it's always nice to have a choice in the way your eggs are cooked rather than just what was on offer in the buffet! But really that's just me being fussy!
beautiful house, especially the dining room. The rooms in separate lodges in the courtyard are very nice
food in restaurant mediocre fpr the price, also breakfast not appetising with little choice. Service in restaurant slow, staff not very helpful. Radiator in my room not working so it was cold.
I must admit, that was a real surprise for as. We been there for are anniversary and to be honest we d'int aspect that.fantastic view, lovely room and especially the breakfast served in a really character restaurant all beautiful. definitely we will back thank you very much e ciao.
Loved the quiet countryside location and quality modern facilities.
Dining room separate to accommodation so a bit of a challenge if the weather is inclement
Amazing room Friendly staff Golf facilities Park and ride to Bath
Dinner prices were slightly over priced
I liked the character of the buildings and would like to visit during a different time of year. I don't play golf but admired the beautiful setting.
There was nothing we didn't like and would visit again.
