Very central for getting to London (Train station just around the corner) The hotel annexe is getting very tired. The decor is in need of attention. The curtains at the window were in shreads, falling apart and badly stained by condensation / damp. (The curtain lining, not the main material) The bathroom had not been cleaned properly, the plug had a mass of hair in it, not nice!! The bathroom floor tiles were loose and the shower screen leaked water all over them.Room 36.

We choose The Park hotel as it was close to Twickenham for the Rugby, cost was a little pricey for what you got for your money as breakfast wasnt included and cost another £13 each and wasnt that nice (disapointing) and service was very slow one breakfast was brought out and the other 5 minutes later as they had forgotten to order 2!! Food in the restaurant in the evening was lovely but service a little slow but very tasty all the same :) Service very slow in the restaurant

We needed a location close to Kempton and this was achieved. The hotel is near the railway station and has a parking. The restaurant was good and the food was fresh and tasty. The first room was small and the bed was too narrow for 2 travellers, but the second room was an improvement. A good strong shower was welcome. Staff are very pleasant. No twin options, only family rooms. The beds needed more pillows, but perhaps we should have asked for them. No lift to the upper floor.

Room was exceptionally clean and comfortable. I liked that I was able to arrive late at night, I liked the tv and available channels, I also liked that breakfast to the room was available - the breakfast was very good. I had phoned the hotel during the day to request a bottle of wine to the room as I would be arriving late. When I arrived - this had not been arranged and the guy went to go and get one from the bar but could not locate a bottle of red which is what I wanted. Instead, he kept looking in the fridge and told me he didnt know anything about wines.. I explained that a red would not be kept in the fridge. I got frustrated and said to leave it and that if he was able to get hold of one, to please bring it to the room. He didnt.

The staff were all friendly, considerate and helpful. The food represented good value and it had ab easy atmosphere. Just a 10 minute short walk to the railway station and east access by road make it a good choice for those wishing to have days in central London as well as enjoy local attractions such as Kew gardens, Hampton Court and Strawberry Hill House.

The room was quite large, the soaps and shampoo were excellent quality, tea/coffee and kettle were all in place, the window actually opened (important for us), and the room was clean, tidy and just what we needed. Oh, and the wi-fi was free ! Only one bath towel supplied in the room.

Good location for the Rugby International at Twickenham. The hotel is generally tired and money needs to be spent. Breakfast was very good, but the service was highly disorganised. Why not offer a hot buffet if the staff are not sufficient/adequately trained? Beware! Be early for breakfast to avoid tables being scraped across the floor all around you in preparation for lunchtime.

The best thing about staying at the Park Hotel is the fact that you can park your car on site for no extra cost. The breakfast service - it is dire !

We were immediately welcomed and were made to feel at home by the wonderful receptionist. She was very nice and professional and answered any questions she had- this happened all the way from check in to check out. We felt at ease right away! The room was clean and tidy and was nicely decorated and you have space to do what you want to do as well as getting help or food or drink whenever you needed. The location is great as it is right in the middle of everything going on in the area, The hotel pub was nice with a wide variety of food and drink served and the bar staff were nice too. Had a lovely time there and will definitely be back. Thanks!

24/7 reception; friendly staff; quality of room and heating, as it was a cold, snowy weekend Generally not enough staff to cope with breakfast, for example. Also the car park and walkway to the annex where we stayed, was not gritted or swept clear of snow. Several people had problems on the slippery surface.

Proximity to main line station and local restaurants. There were too many stairs and no lift which made it a poor choice for anyone with mobility issues. One always assumes there will be a lift and so it was not raised at the time of booking. Our mistake, but one that could have been raised on the hotel details.

“The setting right on Teddington Lock and on the edge of the Thames is fabulous. The golf, tennis and water sport (rowing and sailing) available are brilliat. The walks in the 25 acres of woodland were stunning (400 trees apparently). Location wise it's only a short drive away from Kew Gardens and is right next door to Pinewood (Teddington) Studios for those of you curious about The British Film Industry. Fantastic resturant area stretching through neighbouring Twickenham to Richmond. Within easy reach of Teddington Railway station and a shortish ride into London Victoria. The hotel itself is both retro and modern mix. The staff are the most polite and helpful you could wish for. We paid £105 for a beautiful double room incl full english/continental breakfast - unbelievable!!! All in all a brilliant stay which will guarentee our return. No more paying through the nose for crowded unfriendly London central hotels when this one is so easily accessed from The City. What a find!!” James, Upholland |
