cleanliness of room/the staff
breakfast not as good as the range of the hotel
Good location, friendly staff, clean room, nice breakfast. Had a nice quiet room on top floor, double windows so nice and light.
Shower was temperamental and shower bracket broken. Quite old fashioned. Due to it's age, floors were lopsided in places!
The choice of food at breakfast, there was a lack of fruit & no choice of yogurt. The mattress had a duvet underneath the bottom sheet & we put another one on top of that to make the bed more comfortable. The duvets were very old & in need of replacing.
We liked the location which was near the sea and the shops. The bus stops were right opposite the hotel or on the same side so no need to use the car. The breakfasts were good and the staff very helpful.
The single room was too small for a mature person (although offered a larger room without sea view). Lack of any chairs in rooms. Would have liked the restaurant to have been open in the evening.
Lokation is very good
TV only 1program
Very clean and reasonable price for a 2 night stay. Would come again.
Needs to be redecorated as wall paper all ripped on the walls in the room, also needs more comfortable mattress as not a good night sleep.
early close reception
Location , friendly staff, breakfasts cleanliness
Noisy people in room next door noisy road outside
Beds very uncomfortable. No sea view room as requested. TV did not work in room. No tea bags in room.
Nice friendly hotel in excellent location. We would definitely go again.
Just a bit noisy due to the work accross the road on the pier.
The room ,the staff, the breakfast ,the Hotel in the perfect position for seafront, shops n Restaurants ,good value for the price we paid
Bedroom carpet ,old n stained .no chair in room, just a small stool at dressing table ,lighting in bedroom very dim.
Very friendly staff and ready to help
fantastic location right on seafront. Owner was a lovely man - very friendly and welcoming. Great shower!
Dirty room ,poor decor ,noisy , uncomfortable bed
Nice clean bathroom room towels etc hotel in good location.Friendly staff and good selection for breakfast.
sea view room, which was noisy at night time ( saturday night stay )
Four poster bed. The room was large enough to accommodate the largest bed I have ever slept in (I have a king size bed at home and this was larger) and a double sofa bed for our daughter. Lovely room, great view.
Another guest, smoking late one night, set off the fire alarm so everyone had to stand outside in bed attire until we had the all clear. On the plus side the staff were very professional and unflappable during this unscheduled fire test!
position of hotel. Breakfast was good. Cups of tea served in afternoon were good, and pleasantly served.
mattress was about 15 years old.Lumpy with springs apparent.Loo brush had been used butnot cleaned. Told manager who said that in 5 weeks she hadn't had time to check room. Guess that says it all.
The breakfast room was well laid out. The staff were friendly.
Room was very small and hot, only 1 window opened. Had no lights the 1st night. No tv signal the 2nd night. Duvet way way too big for the cover it was in and had to be folded over inside the cover. Only enough tea and coffee for 1 cup each in room. Found a long hair in my breakfast on the 2nd morning.
big clean bathroom lady on reception
shabby interior very small room view onto a brick wall meter away. dingy towels breakfast not served till 8am entrance littered with cigarette ends.
Perfect location, staff helpfulness.
The hotel is a little tired and my bed was uncomfortable
Site, staff, cleanliness.
Breakfast, broken fittings in room, tired image .
This is not a hotel as I understand one to be,it is a dirty tatty small dark boarding house that should have been updated years ago.We slept in the most uncomfortable beds and left without having breakfast.I have stayed in Hotels all over the World but this is by far the worst.
Excellent staff, food very good
The breakfast was excellent and the staff were very friendly.
The room was tired with wallpaper hanging off the wall above the wardrobe. We are used to flat screen tv's now, the tv was old and the picture kept breaking up
Great location next to pier Comfortable rooms Very friendly staff Free wifi connection
Limited mobile connection Basic rooms could do with a facelift Friend's room had poor shower facility and very small single room
