The Full English in the morning was very tasty and warm. Also served very quickly with a smiley member of staff. The comfort of the room and the view out of the window was very pleasant. |

The room was clean with a sea view and the breakfast was very nicely prepared but that is all I can say about the hotel. I was on the third floor and when I ask where the lift was I was informed that it had broken down 6 months ago and still had not been fixed. There was no chairs in our room, one was needed to see the sea view as the windows were too high for my wife to see out. As for 4 star it was more like 2 star and if you take into account the subsidence in the middle of the building (all floors tilted towards the centre of the hotel) no stars would be the correct rating. |

The hotel staff were friendly and helpful and the breakfast was varied and covered most choices of menue. Overall a nice place to stay. Only real problem with the hotel was the position with respect to parking. There was limited street parking and all of it was on metres.Voucher tickets could be bought from the hotel, but you still had to find a space to park the car to use them. |

Nice refurbished room, great scrambled eggs for breakfast. Lovely sea views. Can be noisy, there is a lively bar below and the pier is opposite. The entrance and hallways need upgrading. |

Easy access in/out of hotel, reception staff helpful, all personnel friendly. Uncomplicated breakfasts.......self service for juice, cereals, tea & coffee with orders taken for full english etc & nice early start from 7.30am The radiator in the room made an awful racket - on inspection no control knob.. |

The location The single room is too long and too narrow, presumably a bigger room split into 3. Consequently, it feels a little claustrophobic. Also, the description of the room said "a bath, a shower" but it had a shower only. Not as good for tired feet after a long walk. Also, a little bedside table would be nice. |

The location was fantastice being directly in front of the pier and it was only a short walk to a good choice of restaurants. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the room we booked was very spacious and had a wonderful view of the pier. |
