The Pinewood Hotel - A Bespoke Hotel  

Excellent value for money, stayed one night here before moving on to another hotel for a wedding. In terms of food and cleanliness this beat the other hotel (which should have been £400/night normal rate). Rooms were nicely decorated, clean and had air-conditioning. Staff were helpfull and friendly. Would highly reccommed it to friends and family.

Hotel serves a purpose in terms of location for a work trip. Price competitively for the time of year I was staying in comparison to other hotels in the area. Easy to get to from Slough where I was visiting for work.

Staff at reception (older asian guy) was incredibly unhelpful, two issues I raised he had no interest in solving the issues which were in his control or apology for the situation. Internet connection very weak in the rooms critical for most business travels which lots of people in this hotel are. Need to get more modems across the building. Food on both nights was very bad, burger half cooked, raw mince meat is not good for people, do chefs not know this? A miserable plate of Chili Con Carne was the second night as room service. No bottle opener in the room and when the guy came to deliver one, wanted to come into the room! For what I asked? Shower door wouldn't slide back and of course lead to a small flood in the bathroom, highly dangerous. Walls in rooms very thin as I spent most of my first night listening to my next door neighbour snoring. Other than that its fine!

Pleasant stay with comfortable room, nice bathroom. Evening meal and breakfast very good.

Tv in room was very small but only a minor point.,,,

Staff helpfull and pleasant, we were upgrade on arrival and the food was good but limited in choice. The faulty bedside lamp was promptly replaced

Not particularly cheap and the carpet in our room needed a good clean.

Good food, good value for money

I booked 8 rooms for me and my collegues. The reviews were mixed. I personally enjoyed my stay but some others had issues with noise (very thin walls and floors), no hot water in the morning, the carpets were not clean etc.

Receptionist on arrival was very friendly, polite and helpful and food served was excellent.

Comfort Hotel and in a good location for visiting our son and his family in Uxbridge

Restaurant Evening Service is very poor we have stayed there three times and had a bad experience on each occasion - food orders wrong or inedible - always when there are more than two people The chef cannot cope if he is given and order for more than two people. Food very expensive. We have complained to the hotel direct. Would recommend eating elsewhere

The staff. A mistake was made with the food and it was late arriving and without even complaining the waitress gave us 2 glasses of wine on the house and the food was not long to arrive after that. There was a problem with the toilet on 2 occasions and the lady on reception took £20 off the bill. This is service excellence as we didn't even complain. It makes us want to go back again.

The car park, it seemed to small especially with a wedding there on the same night we arrived.

We don't feel the hotel is value for money , wonder how it is 4 star rating. There is no beddings for cot bed, reception is really poor, very noisy local guests too.

I had a US laptop and was in need of a convertor to use it with US power outlets. I told the staff at the reception and they asked a taxi driver to get one for me, so that I can borrow it. That is what I call exceeding customer service. Breakfast was included and was really good. Great assortment of food and the "Eggs with Salmon" were delicious. Gran servicio, personal del hotel dispuesto a ayudarte y el desayuno bufé era muy rico! Los huevos Benedictos con Salmon estaban deliciosos!

Location was not very convenient if you don't have a car. Taxi cost 8 pounds to go from the hotel to city centre.

The staff are very kind and helpful, they make you feel an appreciated guest.

Less pleasant is the continuous humming of the climate control motor/machine outside. If your room is located close to that machine, it does affect the peace&quiet.

Loved the 'grand' hotel toilets! They were amazing! Snake/lizzard tiled basins...Never seen any toilets like that in my life. The hotel was lovely and clean and had a very pleasant atmosphere. Quite relaxed and friendly. Would recommend.

The hotel location was alittle far out of town, which we weren't expecting and we probably won't have found it if we didn't have a sat nav. It was very secluded but grounds were lovely and staff were very plesant and friendly.Would have been nice to have a pool!
