The Place Apartment Hotel

We were upgraded to a superior room, with a gorgeous skylight. I could have happily lived there!

There were some stains on the furniture and bedding. The waitress at breakfast was not very attentive - we had to call her over to get tea and coffee.

Staff, reception area, size and facilities of the apartment were all good.

Flooring needs renewing, the apartment was a bit shabby around the flooring and lower walls, wouldn't necessarily class it as luxury.

Hotel is in in an excellent location for the city, we particularly liked the apartment but with all the comforts and facalities of a hotel.

I was very impressed by the standard of this Apartment Hotel for the price I paid. It had class on a par with any of the well known high class hotels. The service was excellent from the reception staff to the room service staff. Overall I had a very quiet comfortable stay after a long day in Manchester.

The penthouse appartment was amazing value.

Loved the idea that it was an appartment within a hotel with two teenage children it was an ideal base for us .Would recommend this for anyone who enjoys the security and comfort of a hotel and the freedom of an appartment.

The facilities were ideal for our family: self contained apartment within an excellent hotel environment. The location was perfect, with all shops, restaurants etc within easy walking distance. The hotel reception and bar staff were fantastic, really welcoming and very helpful with local information.

The accomodation was extremely spacious with all the facilities you could hope for. It was bigger than many peoples flats/ houses. The beds were large and comfortable and the apartment was warm on a cold day.

On the downside the design of the apartments meant that the hugh window (the whole wall) of the living space and the childrens bedroom faced straight onto the corridor. Even with the large blinds we felt a little exposed. Also, with the very high ceilings in the public areas any noise was magnified. When we were in the bar a family group came in - they were rowdy, and although they had a small child with them their language was appalling. The bar staff did nothing to alleviate this. In such a high tech type of environment would have expected a flat screen rather than box tv.

Great apartment/hotel with superb customer service - nothing was any trouble for the staff! Well equipped apartment - and ours was huge. Although the living space could have been cleaner, the bathrooms and bedrooms were clean. Fantastic, central location with great views of the hills from top floor apartment. Would definitely stay again and recommend!
