The Place Hotel    

The staff are very professional. The apartment was very clean and also well looked after.

No lift from car park to the check in desk but this is only a very small point.

Excellent hotel apartment, with two bedrooms, two bathrooms and a great living room / kitchen with just about everything you need. I liked the design combination with exposed brickwork and industrial girders - all very modern and different. Comfortable beds, lots of hot water in the bathroom, good location for shopping / tourism in Manchester. Can't really fault anything.

Spacious flat. Liked the central atrium area . Bar area open and pleasant. Position for station and shops excellent.

Some coffee cups stained and dirty. Our son slept in front room and was kept awake by people returning from nights out. Noisy.

We loved having the freedom of an apartment within what felt like a luxury hotel. We just loved it and are booked to come again in July.

We went for the weekend it was my better halfs birthday I wanted to treat her and take her shopping. The staff are very friendly and professional. The apartment was immaculate very modern and huge very Impressed just like you see in magazine's. The food was just outstanding complements to the chef, excellent value. And the breakfast amazing the amount of variety it catered for everyone. Can't wait to go there again.

Coming home my stay wasn't long enough. We couldn't find fault with anything. Perfect.

Staff were very accommodating helping with keys / bags being dropped off / tokens for taxis in car park / arranging early check-in to one of the rooms. Rooms were clean and housekeeping emptied the bins etc with minimal interference in the room. Thank you

Trying to be considerate when there were weddings outside the rooms. We had 3 apartments and were walking back & forward between 2 of them... there should be a discount on the rooms for the ones which face onto the ceremony and drinks reception Between the 3 apartments we managed for cooking but some of them rooms had no oven tray / grill pan, others had no sharp knives etc. It would be great if each apartment had what each one needed.

We loved the Place. The apartment was so spacious, clean and user friendly. Perfect position.

The hotel is in a great location. Ideal for getting to the train station and the city sites. The two bedroom apartment is spacious, modern , clean , and well equipted. The check in and check out staff were very friendly and efficient with the check in and check out. A Thursday night was our first. It was great to be able to prepare our own meal after 20 days of travel eating hotel and restaurant food. Thursday was quiet and rest full.......BUT!!!!!!!!!!

Do not get an apartment wit a bedroom on the atrium!!!!!!! Friday was not as quiet, but settled down late evening. Saturday night was a disaster. A very loud boom box sound started in the evening, and got continually louder as the night progressed. Between 3 and 4 in the morning the door of the next apartment, which was next to out headboard, must have slammed twenty times. People were coming in constantly. The music kept getting louder and louder. When I called the reception desk I was told that they would click it. I watched out the window...no one ever did. No sleep sat night. I spoke again to the desk in the morning. After being out all day we returned about 8 to find the music still playing. I spoke to the reception desk directly and was told again that they would address it. Needless to say, Sunday night was not much better. Bottom line is: Don't rely on the night front desk to resolve anything, don't get a front bedroom, unless you are an all night person, don't plan on getting a good night's sleep on weekends!!!!!!!!!!

Location to main train station in Manchester was great. Very easy to get to Manchester United football game. Apartment was very nice and provided the comforts of home.

We really enjoyed our stay, we were very comfortable and close to everything. Would definitely stay again.

It was too hot and we could not sleep as no way of controlling temperature once storage heaters turned off. No windows in front room therefore no ventilation. Stifling at night.

Accomodation. As an apartment hotel, my residence was two bedrooms ,one with ensuite bathroom, a second bathroom plus a comfortable living room.

Reception staff could have been more friendly. The breakfast room was hosted by a polite young lady whose english was not good enough. She also removed something from a milk jug on the next table with her finger! I was not told when booking the restaurant would be closed.
