Breakfast was good.. We were given an upgrade to family room as original room was really small for price, which was much better. Hotel was dirty, foul mouthed individuals in the bar which staff ignored, burn marks and bad damage to work tops, cigarette ash on window sill by previous occupant which the hotel fined me £100 for, no notification of this just £100 bill on my credit card, refunded after I complained also a foul smell in the room. Under no circumstances will my husband or myself be returning, in fact we need another break to get over this one. My advice to anyone staying at this hotel is to check the room fully and report anything missing or evidence of previous occupants smoking to avoid being charged on your credit card. |

nothing This hotel should be advertised as a party hotel. First we had to be moved because there was a DJ party going on above, once moved we could still hear the music and people running up and down the corridor until late. When we reported this to staff they suggested we go out and enjoy the nightlife too. The weekend was meant to be a relaxing romantic weekend and it turned into a stressful sleepless disaster. The staff were of no help and refused to give us any refund so we could just go home and have some peace and quiet. It is a lovely hotel but if it is going to be used as a party hotel then it should be advertised as that. |

Quiet, comfortable, warm and spacious. Well-equipped kitchen. Really good convenient central location. Furniture in living/dining/kitchen area showed signs of wear and tear, and hand basin in bathroom too small. |

It was pleasant to have all the facilities in your apartment. You could relax and chill out and yet have room service if you wished. The staff were very helpful and the choice at breakfast was excellent. I would thoroughly recommend the hotel. |

I was very disappointed with The Place as the room was not to the standard portreyed on the website. There was black mould ingrained into the corner of the bath and behind the sinks and the grouting on the bathroom floor had come out and the tiles were loose. I was very disappointed with the apartment as it was a special shopping treat for my girls and I paid £230 pounds including breakfast for one night's stay. |

The apartment was attractive, well-equipped and comfortable for our family of five. Staff were helpful and discreet. The hotel's design made good use of an impressive listed warehouse building. Location (near Picadilly station) was super. Because of the building's design, the front rooms of the apartment (one bedroom and living area) are somewhat airless. The front window open out onto the hotel hall and atrium, so when they are open anybody can come into the apartment. I would suggest small window openings or vents at the top of the windows, unless it is possible to put in a central ventilation system for the hotel. |

The apartments were vast in size and quite comfortable, amenities were good. The night staff treated us like prisoners as opposed to guests. We were a group of lads on a night out, but in all fairness did not make an awfull lot of noise. Found them to be rude and very unwilling to help. |

The receptionist managed to check us in early even though originally they didn't have the rooms ready. The showers were not the best - one of the temperature controls was broken - but it was set to the right temperature so again, it wasn't a big deal! I think if we had paid full price, I might have complained. |

Location, adjacent to the Piccadilly station and near to central Manchester was perfect. They look after your bags while you look around the city. Apartment was spacious and well equipped. Staff were welcoming and helpful. We would book again. |

The staff were friendly and helpful and the room was fantastic with beautiful exposed brickwork. The location of the hotel is great, just a few minutes walk away from shops, pubs, restaurants et cetera. One thing to note is that only registered guests of the hotel may stay there overnight - so if you are on a lads or girls holiday this isn't the place for you! |
