they wanted to help
Clean comfortable room and friendly staff.
Bed comfort Good location Ample breakfast Large room - Room2
Shower was small and awkward to use. Towels hard
Excellent location, parking permit was very useful
Pokey room especially bathroom and think we were too far from WiFi router so were unable to connect. Was most expensive of 3 hotels we stayed in during break and is the one we would be least likely to return to due to room size mainly.
too old fashioned
The hotel is very dated, a strong smell of smoke in the room. Bathroom very small. The waiter serving breakfast was very pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was ok.
We were on a cycling trip and they took good care of our bikes overnight
Couldn't get on the wifi
manageress really polite,friendly and helpful.
Rooms were amazing and really enjoyed my stay
The skins bar is rather noisy through till very late and then woken up by dustbin lorries or something at 6am. Windows didn't keep sound out very well
Hotel was OK. Breakfast was fine, staff friendly and helpful.
This is an old building, so there are bound to be some problems. Biggest of which was low water pressure. Room was small, but that was expected.
Plenty hot water for Showering.
Location is excellent as is breakfast. Good choice of evening food.
Nice large room, comfy bed.
Lack of air conditioning.
Excellent Continental Breakfast. Staff very friendly
Great location and an idea stopover for the dover ferry. Friendly staff and a lively bar! Even did us a pack up breakfast as we were leaving early in morning. Couldn't ask for more at the price we paid. Will stay again for sure.
Good cheap and cheerful hotel. Basic clean rooms nice breakfast. Nice location.
Fantastic staff and brillian service.
Location for euro tunnel
Noise from bar. Epic climb to room on top floor. Tired room, blankets on bed, how about quilts? Poor shower, no water pressure. Rooms need a serious update.
As always a very nice welcome from Lee. Very rich breakfast. Large clean rooms. Greetings to Lee! We'll be back.
Location, value for money, friendly staff
The staff were excellent and would help you out all the time. The breakfast was always of a very good standard, this hotel is excellent value for money. I would not hesitate to stay here again.
Arrived late 22.30 from euro tunnel. Great welcome nothing was to much trouble. Chocolates on the bed. Guided to other late night places to eat after a 600 mile journey on the bikes. Breakfast was lovely on the continental theme. The lady owner is lovely and very down to earth can have a laugh.
Cannot knock the place the place was on the top floor but still couldn't knock that.
Reasonable price, good location, nice breakfast
Folkestone is looking very down at heel but still good spot to access Eurotunnel
Room although a double...very poky At top of very narrow stairs Water in shower was boiling...very dangerous Never received breakfast as promised
