Very pleasant staff. Ideal location for Channel Tunnel Easy to Park
The comfort of the mattress on the bed was well past is best - very saggy and soft. The towels still very hard
We only stayed one night but for the price can't really faulty it, all staff we come in contact with were polite and helpful, breakfast good.
breakfast choice and service was very good
My single room was freezing due to failure to check if radiator was working. I It was repaired but bad impression created. The bed could have been more comfortable too.
Great spacious superior double room with plasma TV and free WiFi which we didn't have any trouble connecting to. Friendly staff and nice continental selection at breakfast. Good location too with free parking tickets issued for parking outside hotel.
Bar downstairs bit noisy late at night and kicking out time, plus noisy smokers outside in smoking area. Towels are in desperate need of changing - far too small and could do with a clean! Ours were dirty. Rooms have tried to be modernised but could do with a bit more attention. Visited in February and room was freezing as only 1 radiator (on a timer setting out of our control) to heat the large space - luckily there were some blankets in the room to wrap around us!
Great location for The Leas Cliff Hall. Clean rooms and smooth check in process in the Skuba Bar. Oh and free Wi-Fi! Don't expect luxury and you won't be disappointed. I would definitely stay again.
Spacious room with bay widow overlooking pier. Freshly redecorated. Beautiful breakfast room with English breakfast to match. Excellent value.
Parking expensive but no fault of hotel. Don't know how local people put up with constant rip off!!
Lovely room. Really spacious and comfortable. Amazing food - love the mussels. Lovely breakfast
Lovely frontage which on New Year's Eve we weren't allowed to use. Would be worth checking in summer if that applies to every Friday and Saturday
Everything, this is on of my favourite hotels.
The comfy bed, airy room and not smelly or too hot.
Slightly tired but homely
Checking in in lounge bar.
The location was great , the room was clean and the staff were friendly and helpful
The people leaving the pub were loud
The staff are really friendly and and helpful. The room was perfectly fine for the money. I had an evening meal which the barman brought up to my room so I could dodge the karaoke night in the bar downstairs. Food was good. I will stay here again.
The location is right by Leas Hall, so can be a little noisy depending on what event they have on. On the other hand, if you are in Folkestone to see a gig at Leas Hall, then this is the perfect place to stay!
The location was great with easy access to the main shopping area, breakfast had plenty of choice and the waitress was helpful. Excellent one night stop over.
Top floor room was a killer, lots of stairs.
Nice clean room
wifi wasn't working
Location good. 15 minute walk to harbour. Friendly staff. Good stopover if going to France
Staff very polite and willingness to help.
Pillows quite hard which meant not a good nights sleep.
