Horrible horrible horrible experience. The man at the front desk was nothing but rude. As if I was holding him up. Turns out he is the managing director in charge. What a horrid man. Room was cheap & looked cheap too. Location is far from the city centre if walking. Checkout is at 10am. Tv didnt work. Windows had bars on them which made it feel like a prison cell. No heating. Trust me, there are cheaper places near by which are so much better.

Situated close to local attractions n restaurants The Asian staff member behind reception was wearing a suit but thats were the professionalism stopped! As we walked to our room we were disgusted by the lack of cleanliness. There was spit on the mirror in the lift and the carpet throughout the hotel looked like it had never been cleaned since they have opened. The rooms were disgusting with ripped duvets and bed sheets. They had the oldest tv I have seen in my life. All in all I would only recommend this hotel to my worst enemy.

Bad impression on arrival.Receptionist was in dispute with a customer and did not engage with customer- continued doing other things.Original rooom assigned was at the end of a maze of corridoors very difficult to find. Re assigned another room which was better but corridoor leading to room was filthy. An overflow pipe on roof flowed continuously all night keeping me awake, no light over bed, tv did not work. Room and toilet was clean and bed comfortable. Hotel suited my purpose as I was gone early every morning early and did not return until night. I did not eat there. Carpets on corridoor and lift was filthy. Gentleman at reception was cold and unwelcoming and I had no confidence that he would be helpful if required.

Got a room 104.... The door must have been Booted in Previously as the Door frames weren't painted (New Wood) & had a chubb key as a lock. Got a new Room but was terrible. Dozed off until 2 then went home. Really uncomfortable.

Slightly below the average dirtbag hotel on Hagley Road. Thin walls, variable hot water, processed sludge for breakfast. Super sweet reception guys. But the price is right!

It would seem that the man at reception did not watch the customer service dvd. He also didn't know very much English and made me feel very unwelcome and asked me why I came back so late [3am]. Everything, besides the price nothing would make me recommend it.

This hotel was terrible, words cannot describe how bad it was. Filth everywhere, everything was broken, the bath wasn't even connected to the wall, no hot water. The list could go and on, my opinion is this hotel should be closed immediately.

Very little! Even at £21 for a room this was a very poor standard. Room had not been cleaned properly bed linen did not fit, standard of ensuite fittings very poor. Most of the packs of bread on display for the buffet breakfast were at their use by date and the selection on offer was "basic" Certainly poor value at £5.99 When these matters were brought to attention of "business manager"he seemed less than interested and not ayt all apologetic.Stay clear of this property

The Bed Linen was clean It had a three star rating on the outside but inside was a very tired and run down hotel. Wallpaper was hanging off the walls in the public areas, the corridors smelt damp, and he general look of the place was not very good.. The room had cigarette burns on all the furniture and a nub end floating in the toilet. At breakfast time their was dried food splashed on the paintwork where we were sitting. Only stopped the one night then moved to the Brittania hotel in the city centre for the same price. What a difference!!!

I didn't like anything about this hotel and will definitely not be returning back. The staff are rude and unhelpful. And it is the filthiest place I have ever stayed and I wouldn't even let my dog stay here!!!!!!!
