Hotel sencillo pero muy correcto. Bien comunicado con el centro.

Good value, friendly staff, rooms can be a bit drab but generally clean and offer good value. All ensuite. Evening meals good. I would say one of the better 'budget' hotels in the area.

The details of the rooms vary somewhat, such as furnishings and blackout curtains not in all rooms. Single rooms can feel a bit 'second class'. Very bright lights onto the front of the hotel. Breakfast is a bit limited choice.

I booked three rooms and one of the rooms we were supplied was the staff room, dirty, broken cupboards, floor was stained etc. The hotel was unwilling to move us so we had to book a room in another hotel !!!!

We have stayed here many times, it is a good quite basic hotel but very reasonable and rooms are clean.

The receptionist that was on the last two evenings was very rude. She parled out the front of the hotel and took up 2 spaces. I went in and said someone has parked taking up 2 spaces and ask if they could be asked to move the car into one. She said there is room around the back. This area is a little walk in the dark and rain. I said what car it was and she said that is my car and its not taking up 2 spaces. I said my wife is partially disabled and we have a few bags to bring in and would like to park out the front please. I then went outside. After 5 minutes I walked back in and ask her if she could possibly move her car over as there was plenty of room for 2 cars. She said I am serving someone at the bar now which is more important.

Stayed before. Good clean hotel. Great Staff and very reasonable rates. Food was good too.

A little tired in its decoration

Available car parking. Surprisingly quiet.

No plug in sink , staff unable to supply one!. No satellite TV - as advertised on web and in brochure on reception desk. Curtains that neither opened nor kept the light out. Could not call lift to second floor. Good breakfast spoiled on the Saturday due to being kept hot too long. Key apparently cancelled before we had finished breakfast on day of departure.

the hotel was filthy.there were holes in the bed sheets and there were used condoms outside the window!

It was cheap and the location was good for the city center

the hotel was dirty especially in the comunal areas like the lift. The decor was very tired and in need of an update. I'm not sure were the third star comes from

Tha ability to just pop in to the city within a couple of minutes

Good value for money. Well placed for access into Birmingham by bus or taxi.

The hotel is showing signs of being run-down with worn-out carpets in lifts, etc. There was a classic Indian Basil Fawlty running breakfast. On the first day he refused to provide eggs 15 mins before the end and on both days he threw us out of the breakfast room even before the allotted time!

Food was cheap and acceptable, bar area Ok, free parking, on bus route into Birmingham.Cost. Room very clean

Room was just about ok, but thick net curtains not proper curtains so light came in. Bathroom 1970s Avocado suite - worked but had black mould stains round bath and loose tiles. Bed not the most comfortable. It was fine for me on my own - wife would have left as soon as she walked into the room.
