Excellent views from rooms facing estuary. Comfortable but beds very soft and room very hot. Evening dinner excellent although pricey. Hotel probably 4.5 stars looking tired round the edges. Drinks prices extortionate £3.80 for a pint of inferior beer.

Wonderful setting over looking The Estuary and having coffee in view of the Castle. Staff were friendly. Accomodation is of a high standard Lovely food but small portions ie a picture on a plate. London prices for food and drinks, £21 for a small main course and £7.50 half a pint of beer or a glass of wine. Misleading wine prices-bottle or Decanter, £20 for 500mls!

Every single aspect of this hotel was outstanding from the minute we walked in untill the minute we walked out, yes you do pay more for everything but the attention to detail and finishing touches make it worth every penny. We have decided to go back the same weekend every year if we can afford it! Slight thing, breakfast was very expensive which we we paid for but we asked for room service breakfast and when it got to the room it was very cold so we couldn't finish it

Staff were very helpfull, especially the kitchen staff when ordering a veritarian breakfast the evening before and checking the order in the morning of the breakfast. Reception staff were also very helpfull. We staye in one of the suites, was dissapointed there was no complementary water in the the suite and the only teabags provided were 1x mint and 1x camomile

The sauna/steam room and massage were perfect together with the nailbar products and the complimentary aromatherapy products in room. The layout of the hotel was beautiful and the suite was luxurious. The food was quite nice and the balcony view exquisite. The attitude of some of the staff could only be described as judgemental and one of an air of superiority.Breakfast should definetly be included,as we spent nearly £500 for a weekend. The wine list is extremely expensive and the cheapest bottle was £18.00.The wine company they get this wine from sells a case of 6 bottles of the same wine for £18.84!!!!!ridiculous!!! We also had to fix the shower attachment which was faulty and the veneer on the headboard was peeling off.The Chambermaids and room service staff were fantastic as well as the Restaurant manager.

The views were stunning. The restaurant food was delicious and fabulously presented with excellent service. The shower pressure - it was low and we reported it to the reception, I would request when staying again not to stay in that room with that shower it took me 45 minutes to wash my hair - it was no better than a tap trickle. It was disappointing to find that the spa for beauty treatments closed at 5pm on Saturday when you could only take your room at 4pm!

The hotel and the location are absolutely fabulous. The views are second to none! The hotel itself is well placed and really beautifully designed. It combines style with comfort and of course those fabulous views. Nothing
