Friendly helpful staff, free coffee. I had booked a reduced room through Booking.com and was delighted to be upgraded on arrival. The location is great as you can easily walk into the shopping area or to the Baths, Royal Crescent etc. The breakfast was good and we enjoyed a lovely dinner in the Olive Tree. Our room was on the third floor and there was only a small lift so we found the climb from the restaurant, the Olive Tree, in the basement up to our room a bit taxing. The hotel is a series of houses knocked together so the layout is rather eccentric.

The overall appearance and decor was excellent, the location was ideal in relation to Bath town centre and staff very polite and helpful. Parking is obviously and dis advantage and although the staff were polite i was a little disappointed to be asked if i wished to leave a gratuity when paying my final bill.I dont mind paying for good service but i will decide when i do this. However this will not stop me visiting again.

We had absolutely no complaints about the hotel. We were upgraded free of charge and presented with a complimentary gift when the management found out it was our wedding anniversary. Although we were only booked for one night, we were able to arrive early and leave late, the hotel staff looking after our belongings and car. We will definitely recommend. Breakfast included in the price would have been an extra bonus but gave us the opportunity to go out into the city for breakfast the next morning.

The staff were really friendly and helpful, the room was clean and the bed was really comfortable - extra brownie points for the blackout curtains. Good location on a quiet street near several of Bath's tourist attractions. And if you're planning to visit the spa, they will loan you a spa pack of robes, towels and toiletries for a refundable deposit, saving the cost of hiring them at the spa or bringing your own. A lovely boutique hotel - though for the price, I'd have been disappointed with anything less. Up on the hill above the city centre, so although it's not a long walk, it is a bit tiring to do a couple of times a day!

Just spent a fabulous 2 days at The Queensberry. Nothing was too much for the hotel staff. We even had a complimentary room upgrade to the best suite in the hotel (room 4) which was spectacular! Courtyard garden was very pleasant for an early evening drink after taking in the wonderful sights, spa and shopping in Bath. Highly recommended! The only downside was breakfast. The food was lovely but we had to wait a while to be served.

Interesting building - not just another boring old hotel block. The room was big, comfortable and luxurious and the staff were great. The bath was huge and it was lovely to be able to stretch right out and still not touch the end! Great breakfast, well cooked, lots of choice and not that expensive.

Very friendly, relaxed, quirky, no 'big hotel impersional attitude' and much more 'joined up' communication and better service than the Bath Spa hotel! Liked the way that they have got around the parking problems in Bath by effortlessely parking your car for you. If I can get the same midweek deal £99/night would certainly use again.

Loved it's style & location & Olive tree restaurant was fantastic & the food really delicious (even making delicious gluten free rolls). Have marked it down for fact that bed was too small for us & my boyfriend ended up sleeping on floor, cos bed was too tight. Would have been nice if staff had given this some thought when we checked in or enquired how our room was during our stay. Guess its normal for hotel not to do this, but if they want to up their service level & standard this should be considered. Otherwise though the place was lovely.

Since coming to Bath for around 5 yrs we first stayed at The Hilton which we did not enjoy, and then at a hotel which was about 4 miles outside of the city . The Queensberry, has a great location , lovely well maintained and well presented rooms, and helpful staff . With a great selection of eating places within walking distance its great not to have to worry about drink / drive or indeed parking , and at night the rooms are very quiet , so having stayed here once we have been ever since . Nothing , if anyone has they must be ver fussy indeed .

This was our 4th or 5th visit and we have never been disappointed. Off season the prices are very reasonable and the staff are unfailingly pleasent and helpful. We will be back, though probably not to room 19 as the lighting was a little too subdued (fine for romance but not so good for reading).

I liked the lovely warm welcome we received, and the helpfulness of the staff, especially parking the car and returning it at the end. Our only complaint, and this is said as a suggestion rather than a complaint, was that there were no tea/coffee making facilities in the room. Nothing, the Christmas decorations and the room decor was outstanding

Quiet efficiency and overall comfort. These are observations rather than dislikes:- Room 11 The ensuite did not appear to have any form of mechanical ventilation. The shower flow seemed excessive in these times of energy and water consumption savings. During a relatively short shower of high shower flow rate, the bath filled to half its depth suggesting a possible restriction in the drainage system.

I was particularlly impressed by the welcome from all the staff I met during our one night stay. The room we had was clean and a good size and the breakfast was excellent if a little expensive. It was in a good location for the city centre.
