This was our 4th or 5th visit and we have never been disappointed. Off season the prices are very reasonable and the staff are unfailingly pleasent and helpful. We will be back, though probably not to room 19 as the lighting was a little too subdued (fine for romance but not so good for reading).

I liked the lovely warm welcome we received, and the helpfulness of the staff, especially parking the car and returning it at the end. Our only complaint, and this is said as a suggestion rather than a complaint, was that there were no tea/coffee making facilities in the room. Nothing, the Christmas decorations and the room decor was outstanding

This is the fourth Christmas trip where we have resided at the Queensbury and the hospitality and friendliness of the staff was exceptional. We attended with our 2 yr old son and the staff were most obliging in dealing with our family demands. Will return next year all being well. Our only disappointment was with regard to the continental breakfast served in our room. There was no bowl provided for the packaged cereal and no butter with the toast.

Quiet efficiency and overall comfort. These are observations rather than dislikes:- Room 11 The ensuite did not appear to have any form of mechanical ventilation. The shower flow seemed excessive in these times of energy and water consumption savings. During a relatively short shower of high shower flow rate, the bath filled to half its depth suggesting a possible restriction in the drainage system.

The breakfast was fabulous. We stayed in room 6 and the bed was extremely comfortable and the room was spacious. The valet car parking is crucial as a city centre hotel. Nothing - loved every aspect of this stay

We loved our stay at the Queensbury, the staff were friendly and helpful, the room was excellent, spacious, comfortable and quiet. Excellent location ideal for shopping, sightseeing and short walk to restaurants in the city centre in the evenings. Will definitely return and recommend to friends and family.

I was particularlly impressed by the welcome from all the staff I met during our one night stay. The room we had was clean and a good size and the breakfast was excellent if a little expensive. It was in a good location for the city centre.

It was very nice and couldn't really fault it. Everything was good. Not sure if it was value for money as it was the only one we stayed in.

Familiarity - we have stayed there before. Friendly atmosphere - the staff are relaxed but attentive. The location is ideal - in a quiet part of Bath within walking distance of the major heritage sites and shops. The food is excellent. We love having breakfast in our room and the comfortable beds.

Our car was parked by the helpful hotel staff and not needed during our stay as the hotel was located within walking distance of all major attractions. In-house restaurant provided an excellent meal. Room was up to the expected high standard.

“Comfortable clean rooms, peaceful ambience, very customer focussed and competent staff. Breakfast was just as previous visitors have decribed, a good selection to please most people and on a par with upmarket hotels. Car parking although £10 a day for the service is worth it in Bath. Location for city centre walking is excellent.” Michael, Wynyard |
