The room was beautifully furnished/decorated. The added details such as complimentary White Company toiletries, bath robe, tv/dvd, cd player all made the room feel like home from home but with added sophistication. I would recommend this hotel to anybody wishing to have a break away with added luxury. |

Excellent rooms in Georgian town house. Very comfortable beds. Valet parking a real bonus in busy Bath. Nothing too much trouble. Layout of bathroom in room 10 was not great, in particular the toilet was not very accessible. |

All staff were extremely helpful and friendly.this was a surprise break for my husband and the hotel put his presents in the room ready for arrival plus a personal note & chocs from the proprietors, which was lovely. Room was wonderful, spacious and immaculately clean. Beautiful Georgian building renovated perfectly Restaurant was also wonderful and would recommend a visit. Staff informed and helpful. A little noise from the road as the windows are the original sash style and no double glazing (which I wouldn't change as that is the beautiful character of the building!) |

Excellent service, nice room, very nice bathroom, proximity to the center of Bath without being on top of it, general good cheer and helpfulness of all those we encountered. Also, excellent restaurant! The only thing I did not like was the street side location of our room. It was noisy in the morning. |

Super location, within easy walking distance of shopping, historic sights etc. Beautiful room, and huge bathroom, with White Company shower gel etc. A real treat. We were returning after a gap of approx 10 years. We enjoyed our stay then, and did so again. However, cost makes it a 'special occasion' only place! No tea/coffee making facility in room. A lot of stairs - not to be recommended if you have mobility difficulties. |

Very cute. Only short walk to Spa, Romas Baths and shops. Staff quite helpful. Breakfast not bad for price. No Internet Access (only by using front desk computer), Bit of a walk up hill to get there and lots of stairs between rooms in hotel so difficult if not mobile. |

Charming hotel; staff very helpful; bedding comfortable; bathroom satisfactory; size of room adequate The restaurant was not as expected for a dinner service; the choices of entrees were too limited; the desert of goat cheese soufle was cold, flat and almost unedible; the restaurant staff did not appear to know the menu items or anything about wine. It was not a good dining experience. |

centrally located and very comfortable. Didn't seem to be enough staff, with everyone mucking in doing every job. As such returning late in the evening we had to hunt the hotel to find a staff member who could give us our key! |

This hotel was a great surprise. The staff is excellent, very friendly and extremelly helpful. Spacious rooms specially for a hotel in Europe, where rooms and bathrooms are usually tight and old. The shower was fantastic. Very charming courtyard. The location is great, 5 minutes walking from downtown Bath and in a quiet location. |
