Geat hotel however rooms at the rear are much quieter than those at the front. We went when it was UNI Fresher week and were woken both nights by a lot of noise from one young high spirited chap at 2:30am in the morning. Still had a good time but will request rooms to the rear next year. As we stayed in the rear rooms last year.
The first thing you notice when you check in is the smiley faces of the staff!! It appeared not to be 'just for show' as for the next three days of our stay everyone was happy and was very willing to help. The room was of a good size and had everything we needed. A very well organised and friendly hotel.
Easy checkin Cosy reception room Lovely bed Great staff always helpful and flexible Nice restaurant Great location. Central
Seats in the bar uncomfortable
Very friendly & considerate service , great location to walk this beautiful city.
This place went beyond... The staff in particular made this needed rest a delight! The girls in reception and the bellman were outstanding, helpful and welcoming. The hotel itself is amazing, with the rooms of great comfort. Would return.
Bedrooms were lovely. Reception was very helpful.
Didn't feel very welcome when went for a drink in the bar one night.
they are best hotel man/woman in my life. not posh, not pretending, very friendly, kind staff. the room was also fabulous!. I didn't find any single one spots. clean and tidy. not too decorated. very calmed room.
nothing! why do i have??
Lack of tea and coffee making facility in the room.
Location, style, restaurant (amazing)
Interiors a bit tired in need of updating, staff not 5 star service
Very friendly concierge
No tea making facilities in the bedroom Reception badly designed
The service was excellent from the start of out stay to the finish. We had out car parked for us and baggage taken to the room - no hassle. An easy walk to the centre of the city. The staff were very friendly and attentive and it felt like we were the only guests even though we weren't
Nothing it was great
Close to shops and restaurants.
No parking on site and no kettle in room
We upgraded to a superior room and liked the décor, extra space with a sofa and huge bathroom. Really enjoyed the tasting meal in the restaurant, expensive but very good. Would have been even better with a list of the wines served.
Not having coffee/tea making facilities in the room. Breakfast was OK with good coffee and juice but not great. The buffet was rather limited - a bit of ham and cheese, a few pastries and little fruit. More variety on the hot menu would have been appreciated eg eggs benedict and pancakes.
Friendly and efficient reception. Polite and friendly staff Large room - comfortable bed Slept really well Excellent freshly cooked breakfast Really strong shower
Black bedside tables need replacing.
The staff at the Queensbury is unmatched at any other hotel I have visited. My friend and I had a lovely time and the staff went out of their way to accommodate us with the dreadful hot weather. It was an incredible experience I would repeat anytime. The hotel was beautiful. Perfectly located, clean, and the bed and room was incredibly comfortable. Thank you so much!
Service was exceptional. back courtyard was lovely and quiet. location was perfect. valet parking. bed was very comfortable. lots of space in the room, large closet, large bathroom, nice view from window. nice continental & serviced breakfast. Tour bus pick up & drop off down at the end of the block. Perfect start to our weekend vacation in Bath.
ummmm, nothing comes to mind
Ambience, character, helpful staff
hidden payments for child's bed and parking
Reception Staff friendliness and efficiency Quality and comfort of room Food and service in restaurant
some noise from street (but not serious)
Great staff who couldn't be more helpful. I would recommend staying here. The room was massive and very comfortable.
Clean Excellent helpful and attentive staff Roomy and comfortable Nice bar and gardens
Extremely pleasant staff and excellent restaurant. Stylish
No air conditioning . It was a hot day and the room was consequently extremely hot, and although there was a fan it still was too hot. Staff were excellent and moved us to another room which was cooler though still not as cool as we would have liked.
Gorgeous old building, pleasant staff, great location
It was very warm and the duvets were too hot. Bathroom not very well ventilated
I had the smallest room in the hotel and it was much bigger than any hotel I'd stayed in in London with a lovely double bedroom, and a small annexe leading to a good sized well equipped and modern bathroom, The window opened onto a small private garden, and air-conditioning was not needed. The staff were friendly and attentive and shared their local knowledge readily. I would definitely recommend this hotel highly.
tasteful decorations everywhere a good selection of teas & coffee in the drawing room (only during the daytime?) complementary shoe-polish service overnight friendly staff
no tea & coffee making facilities in the room no air-conditioning (but a portable fan in each room) fire alarm in the middle of a stormy night
Attic style room very stylish, nice having Classic FM playing in the room on arrival. Valet parking was helpful.
Very warm while we were there so room was hot at night & the seagulls were very noisy...
