The food was good both the rooom service and the breakfast. My room was one of the refurbished ones so all very new. Had the kitchen extractor outside my window which was incredibly noisy. Communal areas in hotel and corridors etc very scruffy - Have found much better hotels at a similar price |

Very helpful and friendly staff, including the chef. Rooms very clean and modern and excellent breakfast and dinner. They advertise a business centre, but you will need your own computer to utilize it. |

I thought the dinner menu could be improved by the addition of some vegetables and the lighting in the bathroom was poor. The lighting in the bathroom of our room was very poor. |

Staff were polite without being intrusive. Some people may prefer a quiet rest rather than activity breaks. An intermittent noise, which appeared to originate from two outlets outside my room window. It was not continuous, but when it was there I had to plug my ears to get to sleep. |

Convenient location. The staff were friendly and helpful. Apart from the fresh fruit salad, the breakfast was not good and was pretty much a waste of money. |

staff were very polite, friendly and helpful had stated when booking that I have mobility problems and therefore the room should be easily accessible, but this had not been passed on to hotel and we had to be be moved to a smaller room on the groundfloor. I was most surprised that a hotel boasting a £1.5million refurbishment does not have a lift. |

the staff were all very very helpful. room was serviceable and any issues with it were dealt with quickly. I'm pretty sure it was a non-refurb room and if that's the standard of the non-refurbed i'd expect a stay at the refurbed ones will be fine. room was v hot, broken toilet seat, iron did not work - staff dealt with these excellently tho - so if there was a problem it was solved |

The stay was terrible - if you don't mind sleeping with a disco beneath you than this is a great place. Unfortunately they hire out the hotel as a venue that doesn't finish until after 12 and then have the joy of listening to all the drunk people spill out of the hotel until after one.It was one of the worst nights sleep I have ever had. Whilst the staff were pleasant enough they seemed to think that this was normal and couldn't understand how it was an issue. At the end of the day when I stay in a hotel I expect to be able to have peace and quiet - this is not the expereice I had at this hotel. |
